    I want to thank everyone who took the time to watch and to get a little more of my story from my own words. It was very hard. Very emotional, but there were some things that I wanted to clear up for people. I appreciate the support. I send many blessings to you all!

      Brittany is was very brave of you to share your story if what actually truly happened to you and what actually really went on that night in no one else's words but your own because it's what you went through and what you actually felt and how you felt and everything else no one else and why you you what you did and why you did it and why you thought that it was the best thing and the smart thing to do at the time and why you did what you had to do by calling your mom because you knew that she would ve of more help at that moment than the police could be because it would of taken them a hr or so to get to you and it wouldn't of taken your mom but maybe 5 mins together and she would be quicker than the police to help and you wanted to your mom during that situation because you felt would was safe with your mom and you needed her in a time like this all daughters need there mother during a horror time like this and when your having to actually go through something as horrible as this.

    Thank you Big Bake for letting her story be told by her! Brittany (and her mom) are some of the biggest hearted, caring, give the shirt off their back people I know here. They are desperate to get an affordable camper urgently!!!! So they can continue to heal and work towards getting her children back. She deserves peace and a fresh start. Could you imagine if this happened to you????

      @cheyennebrown3692 Před rokem +3

      No I honestly couldn't iminage if this happened to me I mean I myself have been rapped before but it didn't go down like this because when I got the chance to get away and wasn't trapped anymore and was able yo finally be able to get away safely and with out worrying about being hurt or wasn't worried about something going to happen to me badly then I took the opportunity and the chance I had then I took it and got away and when I called the police and everything and they done a rap kit on me they tired to say that I wasn't rapped all this because I didn't call them right away I waited till I was in a safe place and I knew I was safe because he came to the house I was I was at and I hide in there daughters room in the bathroom with the door locked while he was asking them about ne and had they seen me and where I went and everything then when he left about 10 minutes after I had manged to get away and get some where safe I called the police and done a rape report and gave them my statement and then I went and had a rape kit done and pressed charges finally against him but not everyone gets lucky like I did and yes Brittany and her mom are very aweet and amazing and nice people and she didn't deserve this and she didn't deserve to have to fight this for years and get charged with murder dude to her defending her self in her own home and defending her brother's life. She should of gotten that stand your ground and the judge shouldn't of denied it to her

My son is in prison after being choked out from my boyfriend who ended up dying over it. He got 30 years! He can get out in 22 years which is 7 more to go. Be strong! So let me get this right the judge said her brother came in with a gun is the agressor? So Todd was not the agressor either? So beating on a woman is not a agressor? The Judge is not there to see what was going on he has no ground to stand on. It's like the Judge was being Bias! oh, nothing happened at all. If the judge looked at his rap sheet he would see Todd had various violent charges to his name, including domestic violence against women. He had been arrested a total of 71 times. WOW! 71 times! He is a violent man & the way I see it any man that beats ,rapes a woman is a coward! A woman has every right of self-defense! The judge is wrong!

    Being that I live in the area it makes me ashamed that the cops acted as they do around here, not long ago their was a guy who had dementia and had an episode thought his wife was an intruder and they arrested him, this is what we have to put up in this county. It seems in her case the fact of self defense went out the window... This is really embarrassing of how our cops here act.. Sorry you had to go through all of that god bless you and your family.

    It’s disgusting how Brittany didn’t have the law on her side. I wouldn’t call the police either, most often then not they are no better than the rapist! I was sexually molested at the age of 3-4 by a police officer. You should sue the system for not getting justice.

  • @tammystevens3345
    @tammystevens3345 Před 4 měsíci

    In hindsight, you could’ve had the clerk call 911 & tell them you had been raped & you & your brother were being held hostage. With his criminal record of assault he would’ve gone to jail, however, he would’ve been released & come after you again so really him being shot & taken out of this world he can no longer hurt anyone else so you did the right thing, in the long run. I’m so sorry this has to happen to you. Bc there is NO justice for the victims. Stay strong!!

      On the 911 call she even tells the operator her brother shot him. Proving her propensity to lie. And according to their story, her BROTHER started the fight based on just her word of mouth and then she shot todd when it wasn't going her way. It's not stand your ground when you get out of the situation, go back, start a fight, and shoot them.
