  • In this video, I will introduce you to my TRUE CRIME Jeffrey Franklin FAMILY ANNIHILATOR Huntsville Alabama short true-crime documentary. This is one of the worst stories I have ever heard of in Alabama. #truecrime #jeffreyfranklin #familyannihilator #huntsvillealabama
Jeffrey Franklin was just 17-years-old when he brutally attacked his parents and young siblings with a hatchet, sledgehammer, rat-tail file, and butcher knife.
Camelot Drive is a middle-class neighborhood in Huntsville, Alabama, where lawns are kept well-manicured and people leave bicycles on front lawns without fearing that they will be stolen. In 1998, however, this quaint neighborhood was the scene of a brutal murder.
On 10 March 1998, 17-year-old Jeffrey Franklin attacked his family in their home at 13005 Camelot Drive. Armed with a hatchet, a two-pound sledgehammer, a rat-tail file, and a butcher’s knife, he attacked his mother, Cynthia, and his father, Gerald. He also attacked his younger siblings - 14-year-old Sara, 8-year-old Timmy, and 6-year-old Christopher.

You did a good and respectful job telling Huntsville's trademark true crime story, thanks for the video. I was a sophomore at Grissom when it happened, I never met Jeff but in all probability passed by him in the hall at some point, and the police chase went by my house. You never think something like this can happen in your city, or be done by someone you work or go to school with, but it can. He got denied parole again last month, may he serve every single day of his sentence.

I’ve randomly, over the past few years, searched for some additional information about this case. I remember when it happened. I believe I was 14. But back then, as a budding true crime addict, I was more fascinated by it than there was information on it. I’ll never forget the shock I felt when it happened, or the way it intrigued me. Once I had a friend drive me past the house itself. Haunting. I lived out in the sticks of New Market, but Huntsville was my backyard so to speak. And now I’m basically living in the ❤️ of Hsv.
Thank you!! I’m so glad someone finally covered this story. You fed my intrigue. Subscribed and liked! Keep doing Huntsville stories!!

I remember when this happened & eventhough I didn't live in that state my neighborhood and school resembles much like this where your exactly right as it was totally normal back then to just knock maybe 1 time while at the sametime opening the unlocked front door & asking if Chris or whoever was home.
It seems ludicrous now to even think about doing such a thing, but back then even if your friend wasnt there his parents simply would yell out " Come Back Later He's Not Home". " Ok in about how long"? " IDK about 2 hours come back but next time just go through the garage & just pick up and slide open one of the doors as he's usually in his room in the basement pounding on those damn drums that we should have never bought him"😅
Infact most purposely left there doors open especially in the day as the parents many times would rather you just walk in that way they wouldn't have to get up and walk all the way to the door to open it .😊
Never thought back then I would one day 🙏 that it was the 90s still.😢

Wow Bake! Such a sad evil story. You told it well. I can always hear your heart through your videos. Some people don't care anymore. I know this one definitely hit close to home being that you're in Huntsville. I'm in Birmingham and very creeped out.🤣 They took this kid's case to a Pastor and he said he'd grow out of it?! Goes to show just how asleep the people of God can be. If it's demonic activity it was that "Pastors" duty to visit him and pray with him. I will never understand why people who pray are too afraid to cast out demons! Jesus did it!
Sorry Bake didn't mean to make this spiritual but it obviously was a demonic attack on this sweet family. Evil hated this family and infiltrated right in through their own son. Sometimes just throwing medication at a situation makes it worse. Love your work Bake! Thanks for this one. See ya again soon.✌

The fact they try to say him staying up 3 days was part of the excuse for his actions appalls me. That kid knowingly abused those meds so any ill effects are 100% on him, not the dr, not the meds, not the parents, the nearly grown man who admittedly abused those meds. I can’t stand trying to find an excuse when the only excuse is they are simply a horrible human being

My heart is broken for every single person this has affected. I live in south Huntsville as well… that’s crazy to think that someone like that could happen here. I also didn’t realize how big prescription pills were here until I moved here. I’ve lost a lot of people to that crap. Thank god I’m clean. And I hope Jeff is on the correct medication.

I live in the next town over from Huntsville and I’ve never heard of this. And it’s very interesting to hear about the killer’s interests and how they “make the murderer.” I mean I literally watch gore videos, listen to rock music, and I’m obsessed with true crime but I’ve never had any thoughts of harming anyone.
