There is this one thing i have noticed in most of your latest vudeos. They are quite short, always around 10minutes, and an advertisement and sponsor segment take like 2 minutes out of it. So we have 8- 10 minutes of accual content. Idk it sometimes feels rusched and uninspired lateley.
Do not understand me wrong- if you have to make a video longer for the add I support it 100%- this is how you earn your money from this job. Same with sponsors and adds.
But some longer more inspired videos every now and then again yould be nice.

@@charlesc.9012 This isn't 100% True as much of the Warp is under Chaos Dominion. There's no guarantee you'll die and not be in the clutches of a Daemon, or a Chaos God in a worse case scenario.
Of Course, this isn't as likely if your A Astartes/Primaris or any section of the Imperium that's closely tied to the Emperor in some capacity.
Pros: become immortal, have infinite power, believing that magnus did nothing wrong.

Tzeetch is historically a bad pick, as being an embodiment of hope and treachery means Tzeetch has little intention of rewarding effort. It’s directly stated that Lords of Change delight in giving power to beggars and ignoring devoted sorcerers. The only people who become Tzeetch daemon princes are those who have even larger ambitions then godhood and true immortality, ie insane people.
true but the bar for entry is fairly low as well. you don't need to sacrifice entire planets, do tons of weird stuff, or have your body transmuted to a plague bag. He does reward convoluted insane schemes, especially if it involves summoning his demons to the materium

So Essentially, to reduce chaos recruitment the Imperium has to raise the standard of living for its subjects. Honestly, makes sense so we know it'll never happen. Just. Like. In. Reality.
I don't know get what you mean. Life is continually getting better all the time. I mean, just look 50 years ago.
Haven't read the books, but sure one of Gulliman's big frustrations besides the Lords of Terra being a bunch of corrupt pricks was that they had institutionalized a horrible standard of living for humanity as a "good" thing, essentially making it easy for Chaos to recruit from the 3/4 of humanity that lives in perpetual squalor.
Parts of the world are better but yea we need a new movement to improve quality of life without making it abuseable
Its possible but the imperium would have to be replaced and another gold empror found to hold the new nation together.
Additionally so many people are poor because humanity is fighting a war of survival. The amount of soldiers, product and defense budget that must be spent would mean you'll never get out of this cycle entirely
Nah if they got freedom they will want more what the imperium need to do is brain wash them more.
Being a follower of Nurgle is the best thing that can happen when you join Chaos. You feel no pain, no fear, you love life, you got plenty of comrades who love you as much as you love them. And the most important: Your patron god will never abandon you, put you in the meatgrinder or sacrifice you for some greater good, he loves you all equally. The downside is that you are a rotting corpse but there are way way way worse things in the 40k Universe.

Getting brainjacked by constant feelings of bliss and belonging is exactly the same as being a mind controlled slave. Nurgle followers don't actually have free will, they might think they do but in reality they're all zombified servants of Nurgle and if the connection to him is ever broken, his followers have a few minutes to scream at the thing they've become before dying agonising deaths from multiple super diseases.
Honestly, the whole 'perpetual state of bliss and belonging' thing is exactly how IRL cults sucker people in. At least the other three Gods aren't really giving you any illusions about what joining them means. Well, maybe Tzeentch does, but Khorne and Slaanesh worshippers are at least pretty sure what they're signing up for at the door.

reminds me of the book Ordinary Men. About Nazi soldiers during WW2 who took part in the holocaust, and would justify their actions by saying they didn't want to leave their comrades alone to bear the guilt of what they did.

That's always been my rule of thumb when reading about historical conflicts. Nobody joins a war for what they think is a bad reason. But then you have people like the Alpha legion that don't even know their own reason for fighting.

Guilliman said it best. If the common Imperium citizen already lives a bad life that feels like hell, then joining Chaos isn't going to be much different. Heck it's probably going to look appealing like Majorkill said.
What about Undivided though? Choosing to balance the aspects of each Chaos god sounds like a good idea in theory, but Chaos being Chaos, I get the feeling that instead of standing on a middle ground, taking a bit from every god, you'd end up a crazed lunatic, with contradicting urges and thoughts from every extreme. Then again, GW cares so little about Undivided that maybe there's no actual answer outside of "haha u become evul lololol".
Probably takes very special individuals. You will need an equal, obsessive yearning for murder, pleasure, power and eternal life. You'd be someone who likes to chop up your victims while raping and at the same time rubbing yourself with nurgle aloe vera and reading through the tzeentch wikipedia all at the same time.
It's pretty hard to get enough good favor with everyone to make it to the endgame. I think only Abaddon has done that?

The way I see it Chaos is like a drug, some people don't realize how bad drugs are until it's too late. Others do realize but still do it anyway.
And like a drug it starts off small, but then you crave more of it to feel the same satisfaction. By the time you realize it's got it's hooks on you it's hard to get them off.
So yeah don't do drugs or chaos kids.
I think that's mainly how it is with Slaanesh, and maybe Khorne more than any of the others

If I'm not mistaken, Chaos also offer afterlife to those followers that die before gaining daemonhood. However, that afterlife is connected to the god they "sell their soul" to, so it depends on perspective whether one would consider it as paradise or hell. Khorne's followers probably fight amongst each other eternaly, Slaanesh's followers experience eternal orgies, Nurgle's followers roam eternally through his garden (or even become part of it), Tzeentch's followers probably spend eternity roaming his realm filled with forbidden knowledge, and followers of Chaos Undivided (and probably lesser gods of Chaos) just roam Formless Wastes. While their Warp Reflection (aka "Soul") gets consumed by Chaos Gods/daemons, their mind and consciousness probably experience this. And if they devoted themselves to the philosophy to that part of Chaos, it isn't exactly bad deal for them. Just my opinions...

I personally believe that titsnitch does hand people a contract of terms and conditions to potential followers but that’s it so long and complicated and written in thousands of different languages that no one really understands it.

Already having enough power at your fingertips to perform an action that will *ensure* your elevation to daemon-prince, seems like the only really logical scenario to join Chaos.
I disagree my friend, probably most people that join chaos didn't have a choice.

All legios were just following orders, and the best prof is the book SCARS, showing that basically all White Scars legion was ready to become traitor if Yagatay said it.
Also the tale of Hurron Blackheart is a good example of how the imperium inability to solve legal disputes because of bureaucracy and the infighting of their institutions can force even the successful and well respected chapters to become the most bitter traitors.

Chaos doesn’t always reward princedom based on the existing power of an individual. You need to prove your strength, resilience, cunning and/or depravity over and over again to even garner their attention, let alone their praise. Daemon princes are the highest echelon of any chaos worshipper not just from the power they receive, but because they are were absolute pinnacle of the god’s followers even before they ascended.

Yeah, but all those reasons you just gave are to avoid a fate that is *still* better than eternal torment.
So I’d have to stick to my guns on this one. Assured elevation to daemon-prince is still the only truly logical reason. The other reasons you gave are enough for regular people to fall for (because they don’t know any better) but they don’t hold up logically under full consideration of the pros and cons.
Of course Major Kill makes a Kitten model after I buy Trajaan to turn him into Kitten, but before I painted him.

Well the best best is becoming a Daemon Prince of Chaos Undivided. Then you are pretty much free to do whatever the fuck you want, I mean you still obviously have to show that you are worth having around, but by the time you become a Daemon Prince, the gods are pretty happy with all your passed actions that they give you free reign.

The prospect of wielding powerful magic, being able to have all drugs and pleasure as you want, unable to be affected by disease and death or even just wanting to be as strong as the average body builder are all appealing… unfortunately the prices are often too high for most people of the standard Imperium citizen.

Khorne seems like an easy choice for me in the grimdark universe. Plus it somewhat memes on the Blood Raven's Blood Rage as you descend into more berserker-like tendencies, which I find hilarious that anyone can become a mini angry boi.
Nurgle, hands down. Only chaos god who loves his servants. Sure you're a walking, weeping boil, but you take great comfort in your entropy, the companionship of your "Brothers/Family" of fellow servants of the plague father, and the unconditional love and acceptance of Grandfather Nurgle. For Eternity.

So, the main issue I heard about new Maugan Ra model is it’s not lore accurate due to detachable magazines of his Shuriken cannon. The guy said , that Maugan Ra has some Familiarity with Bonesinging, so he can produce ammo infinitely and without reload

The most persuasive thing the Archenemy can say to a Space Marine, "You won't have to listen to Guilliman."
Pros: You don't have to slave away for a corpse light years away who is currently being used as a sock puppet by Guilliman and the Custodes to rubber-stamp whatever they feel like doing. You get to raise your head from the back-breaking tyranny that is the foundation of your very existence. You get to have actual power over your own life, at least in the aspects of your chosen sponsor.
Cons: You...umm...well according to the 40k lore your soul gets destroyed in the Warp anyways, so...umm...I dunno.
Yeah but the with the emperor you do at least get a chance to go to the big e's side of the warp which is nice

Chaos is one of the most slippery slopes out there. Khorne will gradually make you not just want, but need to kill. Not killing in enough time begins to physically hurt you. It's like an addiction. Chaos takes their basic aspects and pushes it to 11 and only the few who can handle such stress can even dream of achieving the end goal. It's a strange sense of once you start there is no salvation besides deamonhood, cause every other alternative is terrible.
I mean getting a mark of one of the gods starts to effect you. Slaaneshs mark starts to effect your senses, dulling your every day until you go beyond your limits and experience something new, and then it goes away. Now you continue to deprave yourself for that feeling never able to reach that highest height again until you feel nothing from anything. Connecting yourself to a god makes it impossible to go back to do so is to lose everything.
They suck you in at your worst and most vulnerable and then manipulate you again and again with the promise of power, feeling, knowledge, eternal life and freedom from pain. Going back removes all of that. They feed off of fear of loss and a need for power. By the end you've made every justification and rationality to your actions forever changed both physically and mentally..... then you likely lose in the end, or you get lucky and get the covetted deamonhood where you are still, forever a slave to your master, no matter how much supposed freedom and power you have. But it doesn't matter, cause your master has trained you to be what they want you to be by this point.
Yeah, probably people of 40k simply don't know most pros and cons. They can just stay in sh!ty slave-jobs or join chaos and do anything crew agrees on, for example Red Corsairs just fly around in space and take whatever they can "pirate"

Honestly, the only fate that compares with enslavement by the Drukhari is being plugged into the Golden Throne. Even then, the Golden Throne comes with the special perk that your suffering ultimately helps people who deserve a measure of salvation.
Uhhh the whole point of Slaanesh is that you feel everything. That's why the deldar do what they do: they feed other people's souls to Slaanesh to avoid feeding their own. Ironically they are Slaanesh's most devout followers, which of course, she finds delicious. And likely so does Tzeentch.

Otherwise the deldar could produce pleasure in their subjects and keep him away from their souls, but she requires unending pain from the deldars victims to be kept at bay. We only hear about the pleasurable bits because that's the easiest way to ensnare a new plaything. Everyone loves pleasure. Great food, great art, great sex, etc. But Slaanesh was also made from pain. The elder who created him were hedonists so far and above even the dark eldar, causing pleasure and pain to such a degree that they literally torturemurderfucked a god into existence. That is her entire essence, cruelty and malice and torture and murder and pleasure and extremes of everything and he can present any of those sides to it's followers. Some aspire to seek Power through sheer physical strength, they hit the gym or learn martial Arts all the while looking to gain an upper hand in life. Khorne
Others will try to make life more bearable by indulging themselves in all kinds of substances, Drugs, Alcohol, Coffein, Nicotine etc. Nurgle
And finally, many will pursue the pleasures of flesh and Emotions. Some going so far as to inflict and enjoy pain. Slaanesh
There is no escape from Chaos, It marks us all!

So...why not just look at the positive aspects of each chaos god, and praise that instead? You'd get power, you'd get immortality, and you wouldn't have to deal with all of the nastiness while getting all the benefits. Or, just praise that 'greater good' indian God in the warp that the Tau have to dislike so there isn't an objectively good option in 40k. Seem's like something that's willing to pull me out of the warp and generally be a good bro is prime material for a high-quality God in my book.
Issue is positive aspect or not, its heavily overshadowed by all the negative aspects that are worshipped and fed into the warp by all the negative emotions and actions which are a lot more common in 40k.
I'm under the impression that the bad aspects of Chaos are a "packaged deal." If you don't embrace the bad with the good, the Chaos Gods don't care for you. It's all or nothing.

I dunno, Khorne is the god of rage as well as blood, and being angry all the time sucks. Look at any real person who is angry all the time - they are almost invariably depressed, moody, irritable and generally just a dick to everyone around them. I mean, it definitely doesn't sound as bad as the deal you get from Slaanesh or Nurgle, and probably not as bad as the creeping insanity from Tzeentch either, but it still doesn't sound like a good thing

2nd positive side of joining the Chaos sounds like: “join the army to become supreme general”. I really don’t think anybody anticipates becoming a daemon prince at that point:) Well according to the 40k novels, Chaos often just seems like the lesser evil in times when Imperium abandons certain sectors or soldiers due to the enormous bureaucratic hustles, therefore reacting too late if reacting at all to the disasters or cries for help. However Chaos seems like an omnipresent essence that feeds on collective hysteria and is attracted to one of the 4 things that people do when their fate is doomed (orgies, violence, trying to find the answer to the problem or simply despair). Of course at that point they accept some whispers from whatever daemon is the first to break through the Warp if they feel the reliable source of Chaotic energy. Well it’s kinda played out like a “deal with the devil” which is seen in many famous fiction works like Ghost Rider, Spawn and Bible.

Yes and no.
Chaos Undivided is an interesting mixed-bag case. You'll still get the standard Chaos Blessings package, which includes a generic power boost and increased longevity, if not outright immortality, but any other abilities will be much harder to be granted. This is due to the fact that a Chaos Undivided follower now has _four_ incarnated reality tumors to kiss-up to instead of just one.
Chaos is self-destructive, with each Chaos God constantly moving and or plotting against the others in the Great Game. Any action you take that pleases one of the Chaos Gods has a significant chance of pissing-off one of the others; since blessings won't be forthcoming unless you somehow manage to please all four of them, you aren't likely to make any major gains in the long term due to how contradictory all of their desires are.
The upside to this situation, however, is that if you manage to piss-off one of the Chaos Gods, one of the other Gods is more likely to intervene on your behalf in subtle ways to keep you from having your soul ground into Warp Dust. This isn't because they like you, keep in mind, but more as a metaphysical middle-finger to the God you offended; remember the Gods are in constant competition with one another.
If you _do_ manage to consistently please all four Chaos Gods, however, your blessings will be many-fold times greater than those of the worshippers of singular Chaos Gods.

Disagree with the conclusion. Specifically the overworked lowlife. They should DEFINITELY not join chaos. There is no chance in hell they will ever become a daemon prince and even lasting long as a chaos champion is unlikely for these people. What is likely is them surviving a few months or years before dying and getting murderfucked by Daemons.
The only people for who joining chaos is worth it in the long run is the ultra powerful who stand a realistic chance of becoming a Daemon prince.

And I think it's said that Khorne's bloodletter daemons (the footsoldier type) take in the souls of their enemies to burn as fuel for their swords. Fuel runs out after a while, right? @@Kanuui- Youre not completely wrong. The lore is... mixed. You become the plaything of the daemons. That can mean many many things. The entire warp is made up of soul stuff. It can mean being torn apart. It can mean becoming an infinitely suffering part of the landscape. It can mean becoming the plaything for the daemons of slaanesh.
Youre right, it doesnt automatically means suffer for eternity. But it does mean suffer... a lot. And depending on your luck for a very very long ass time.

I don't buy the "soul destruction thing", to me that's always read as a metaphor for the pain of the Warp, the gods are just a ton of souls in trenchcoats after all, how does destroying your components help you? Dying in 40k is more like having a drop of water dripped into the ocean, both disappear, but both are still there, just part of a greater whole now. Also, maybe The Emperor or similar beings could prevent you from going to the Warp, if the promises of the Imperial cult are to be believed, but that's not how the Warp initially functioned. Before the Old Ones corrupted the Warp with their psychic technology and servant races, the Warp was just a generic calm, cozy dream world afterlife for the predominantly simple and innocent creatures of the galaxy, and it had no sapient emotional gods to cause trouble for mortals. Before you say I'm making the chaos gods sound soft though, existing forever as part of an evil god that you have no choice but to embody because it reflects some of your emotions is way, way, way worse than having your soul just stop existing after daemons eat you.
I always read it as the power of your soul was taken and ripped apart to be absorbed by either the gods or the demons that consumed you, with the side effect that since your soul was just vored, "you" as an entity don't really exist anymore and have no consciousness
@@moth8550 That's basically what it is, only you can be repackaged and sent out as a daemon if the power that has you wants to do that. Some daemons like plaguebearers are borne slowly as the mortal fades from life, only fully coming into existence after that mortal dies and their corrupted, daemon soul is released, and these daemons might actually remember their mortal lives, but others, like horrors or most bloodletters, are created from scratch, so the souls used in them aren't fresh mortals with sane minds and memories, instead they're the corrupted and tortured souls of minds that have become eroded into little more than sapient aggression.
