First, we head to Church Lawton moorings where narrowboat Silver Fox stays for a few nights while Shaun heads off to Yorkshire. Then we go backward and forwards a few times before heading for Harecastle Tunnel. That's where it all went a bit Pete Tong đ

Well Iâve run out of superlatives for you guys! This has to be the most entertaining 18.45 Iâve watched for a very long time. And watching that epic reverse journey ... well I struggled reversing anywhere on my boat . Even over the shortest distance I always felt that the bloody boat was bin charge so well impressed. And a cliff hanger at the end too!!!!!

Honestly, if each episode was 30 to 45 minutes I wouldn't mind. I love watching you guys going about your day. Maybe a few extra minutes of quiet time just watching the scenery go by or a 5 minute time laps when you're going through an urban area or a long stretch backtracking could be fun filler. I'll never be on a boat so everything you show is enjoyable.

Yeah, Red Bull services fine, no worries. I got told by the CRT chaps, dont moor near the Harecastle, well if'y at night. Top vlog. Stayed where you are now for a week, so lovely round there. There! not given it away!
I was told the same. The North portal is not great to moor at but that is Kidsgrove central.
Haha! Well done. Yeah, Red Bull was fine for us too. Like you said, closer to Harecastle North portal is the dodgy place.
It's the two Ronnie's of the waterways! So the answer to the survey question of which way you go is "all of them". Yea! We were all correct then. Cool. Looking forward to the next "The yo yo boat". Good one.

On the way to work this morning, I thought to myself, 'It's Friday. Another update from Foxes Afloat!!!'. I'm glad Shaun's eye healed. As far as swearing goes, he's a sailor. All the sailors I know swear. I think they have to take classes in swearing before they can get aboard a ship. Some people can't talk with out moving their hands. Some can't talk with out swearing!! Thanks again for sharing! Always glad to see what you two are up too! Dillon too!!!

Regarding advice on where, or where not, to moor; I would imagine most peopleâs advice will be regarding the high season during the summer months when evenings are warmer and more kids are out looking for things to âdoâ! On cold, dark, wet November evenings most âneâer do wellsâ will be at home on their X boxes etc. Just something to consider. đ

Hi Guys - The aerial pictures are stunning they really show the route of the old staircase locks - I loved Shaun's 23 point turn - Have you ever thought of fitting a bigger engine to Silver Fox and turning it into Silver Fox GT - It has a certain "ring" to it. Used that winding hole in 2018 and moored between Church Lawton and the Red Bull pub. Nice quiet area, apart from the trains. Once again, thanks for a lovely vlog. Looking forward to finding out where you are/were at the end and where you're going next.
