      Dude, the fact that Tim said that, it made me facepalm. Not just any ordinary kind of fish can live down there. If a fish that lives close to the surface of an environment managed to be teleported down there, it would cease to be in a second. Why, because those fish have miraculously managed to adapt and change to such elevation. He makes it sound as if the fish down there are comparable to the ones up above such crevice

    • @daviddoyodance3085
      @daviddoyodance3085 Před 4 lety +2

      Chaotic Carnage lmfao agreed for sure, but I do understand that a lot of fish adapt, but there are many small life forms and small types of fish along with other kinds of species that survive down that, like to me it makes no sense even for a Megaladon n Giant Squids n shit to live that there cause all that water surrounding them is Metric tons of weight, so it’s literally crushing your body, and those small species n life forms aren’t getting crush by that strong ass force of water, shit just mind boggles me. Cause even tho I understand they’ve adapted and are fish, I just don’t get how they are crushed by the weight n pressuresee

    • @mikethemanager4016
      @mikethemanager4016 Před 3 lety +5

      The crew said they were teeth marks. Squids have beaks not teeth. Unless the device was shining light there is literally no way that enough light could have gotten down that far to make the disc glow like that if it was just an eyeball. It’s a good theory. Yeah, that whole theory is just hysterical. Everything we know about the megalodon points to it being active in warm, shallow, coastal waters, where it can feed on other large megafauna. Even with millions of years of adaptation, how on earth could one of the largest predators to ever live be able to survive in a dark, highly pressurized trench where the only food is just small fish and crabs.
