  • Hi everyone!
I have bought a Gadget to use with my 110mm Grinder and turn it into a cut off saw.
I cam across it whilst surfing through the hand tools on Banggood, and really liked the idea of it.
I never had never seen one before (probabaly a little late to the party), but just wanted it!
    I hope you enjoy!

I just use a plumbers pipe slice when I do hanging rail in wardrobes, portable, no sparks and fits in my toolbox

I have a similar one and there great once you get it dialled in and cutting straight. I did put a few marks on it for quicker set up when cutting 45’s. It’s about 4 years old and still going strong. Have a great Christmas and new year mate

Amazing! But looks a bit small for cutting rails don't you have anything bigger?

Looks good! I wonder if it gets top heavy with a battery grinder

Hello! I cut them with my Makita jigsaw using Bosch progressor blades, some blue tape and a small square to mark the line. The cuts are done fast, very clean, square, no heat and no sparks just a 2 seconds high pitch noise and done. To me, this jig is very loud, slow and dangerous: the guard doesn't help much with the security of the user and with all the vibrations some of those bolts might get loose. Have you tried the method I'm using?

I've tried jigsaws before and for me they cut out of square... but I'm happy with this way, I cut outside and gives me crisp sqaure cuts so I'm happy.

I used one for the same thing a couple of years ago and to be honest it just ripped my knitting and was about as much use as tits on a bull so I ended up binning it and going back to the old hacksaw and file combo.

i like the majority of your videos, but this seems pointless, how OFTEN are you going to be going through the effort of attaching your grinder?

      Thanks.
This grinder will stay attached to the stand.
Which basically means I have a cut off saw for any small cutting jobs I may have.
Always wanted a cut off saw, but didn't want to spend the money on one 👍
