Wow incredible details and organisation.massive job ended up watching the whole thing in one go. Can I ask what the gaps are on the drawer are the 25 ‘s and 10 at the bottom. Also I’m planning g to put a double door cabinet between two wardrobes my carcass outside length is 1255mm so should each door be 624.5 mm ( that’s taking 6mm (3mm x2) off each door ? Or is 2mm off each side ? Hope this making sense it’s been a long day 😂😂

      Hello!
Firstly thank you so much for your support and also your 'Super thanks', I really do appreciate it! 👍😊
So yes the gaps are all 25mm and the bottom one is 10mm.
      I think I get you...
Well if there will be a wardrobe either side of the wardrobe you are building, I take it that it they have doors on?
So your new 2 door wardrobe you are building will have 1 x 3mm gap between the 2 doors.
You will also need a 3mm gap on either side of your new wardrobe (assuming you have a wardrobe either side of it).
      So 3 x 3mm gaps =9mm?

Thanks Ryan I did the doors on the wardrobe but forgot what gaps I did and wasn’t sure. Appreciate the information on the gaps for the drawers.
I can’t believe I’ve got this far with my project of floor to ceiling wardrobe with 55 inch tv and PlayStation area ( still not finalised this part😂) cabinets middle top and bottom. For my 8 year old lads bedroom. My son is dead excited to see it take shape. I never thought I would even have the confidence to do the drawers as well. So I’m moving through it at a snails pace incase o get it wrong. I’m in no rush but find I’m constantly thinking it over. God knows what you go through 😂 ( and with doing all the content for the channel answering questions etc. I have to say it’s gold to have these videos. You’ve built a business to be proud of. I love the quirky work and precision and dedication you apply to your work. Great to learn it’s turned into a bit of a hobby for me so thanks for the answers you’ve provided since I started. Keep going matey you and Sean are smashing it. All the best got to go drawer vides to study 😂😂

I love the workmanlike, but I'm confused as to what you could possibly hand on the middle wardrobe, it has 2 rails above each other but what could you possibly fit in it? Love the channel

Hi Gary, thank you very much, thats really appreciated!
To be honest, details like hanging lengths and amount of shelves/spacings etc were determined by the customer, and then run past the designer.
They must be for something small but I am unsure what :-)
      Cheers Ryan :-)

I have added the link to the blade I use in the video description for you, just look under the Trend tools section.
Please make sure it is compatible for your machine.
Most biscuit jointer blades have the same specs so you shouldn't have any problems.
      Cheers Ryan 😊👍

Can I ask a question. I have managed to put together a faker shaker door. Perfectly square. Would you then router a very tiny round bevel all away round the edge and the side trim? If that makes any sense😅

    • @thelondoncraftsmanworkshop
      @thelondoncraftsmanworkshop  Před měsícem

      Hey yes sure!
Well a really old video of mine doesn't show putting the round on the corner of the strips before gueing them on.
The new way I do it is to round over the corners and then glue the strips on.
I'm not sure if you'll manage to get a router cutter in that tiny space anymore (on the inside of the door). Around the outside of the door you will be able to. I use the 1.6mm radius cutter for the trimmer.
But not to worry if they are square on the inside and you've already glued them. You should still be able to take the sharp corners off with sand paper, maybe 120 then 240 paper?
      Does this help??
      Cheers ryan

Hiya luv. What manufacturer of paint are you using for carcus and for doors and panels? And are you thining down at all on your airless with those paints? I know at one stage you were using Johnstones, do you get much issue with spray dust settle at all. Or are the doors and panels really silky smooth. Cheers

      Thank you!
The top coat is all dulux diamond eggshell on this project.
I don't thin my paints at all.
I don't really get overspray with my airless sprayers and my spray room set up 👍😊
