I almost got in road rage situation, and once we both stopped at a red light almost side by side a gangster looking Mexican dude tried to get my attention(I made the mistake) but I immediately lowered my window and apologized genuinely and the unhappy look he had turned glad very suddenly. Being kind and even nice is often best route. No reason to create or continue conflict by having a big ego, better to just admit your mistakes. Unfortunately I don't do that in my personal life as much... Just with strangers
