Qawwali Mehfil with Farid Ayaz and group - 1

Farid Ayaz ensemble performed for a private mehfil that I and few friends jointly organized in Karachi in April 2012. It was a spiritually uplifting performance that was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who attended. Besides myself, the other hosts included Sadia and Naseer Hasan (at whose residence we arranged it), Dr Nighat Khan, Baber Aktam Khokar, Maria Qureshi, Dewan Abdullah Farooqui, Mian Ahmed Hussain and Rizwan Qureshi.

Subhan'Allah ! Beautiful performance, perhaps the finest version of Man Kunto Maula performed by Fareed Ayaz & Ensemble after the passing away of Munshi Raziuddin. Thanks a lot for uploading the mesmerizing piece of art.
I firmly believe that Fareed Ayaz is the last of the legendary qawwals from 20th century, God bless him with a healthy and long life.
