- Farid Ayaz ensemble performed for a private mehfil that I and few friends jointly organized in Karachi in April 2012. It was a spiritually uplifting performance that was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who attended. Besides myself, the other hosts included Sadia and Naseer Hasan (at whose residence we arranged it), Dr Nighat Khan, Baber Aktam Khokar, Maria Qureshi, Dewan Abdullah Farooqui, Mian Ahmed Hussain and Rizwan Qureshi.

Nice program.I request this qawwal to sing qawwali,Gumbad e sabz pe rehmat ki ghata, in a most brilliant way.
