- Hi Everyone!
My name is Zoe, and I am a junior at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I'm working toward a dual degree in acting and advertising. I was a little nervous to film this video, but I think it's important for prospective students to see what it's really like to be a student at UIUC!
This is a normal day in my life: going to class, eating with my friends, going to work, rehearsing, working out, enjoying our beautiful campus, and working on callback material for a new play! A typical Friday on campus, minus the callback, which was a special surprise. :)

It's so amazing that she wakes up at 7 and work out in the morning, i usually wake up 20 mins before the first class of the day
It was back when people were allowed to go outside.

I lived in Daniels Hall on 1010 W. Green St. for the first year as a graduate student in 1966-67, and after that I lived in Sherman Hall, which is very close to my institute in 1967-1968. I had a great time at the University of Illinois. The last time I visited my school, two graduate dorms in August 2019.
I one day look forward to going here! Looks awesome!

I initially had doubts about joining UIUC but just watching this sweet and gorgeous person show her hectic yet adventurous day and see how much she loved it, I may just revisit that decision! Loved the campus insights and infra.. her major also sounds so unique and cool . However , I feel kinda disheartened that I would not be able to meet this pretty soul cause she must have passed out by then.
I happy to see her doing what she loves, not a luxury everyone has :)

As a UIC student, my class is now my mother’s couch due to covid-19.
All my negative items including inquiries ,hacking of universities and colleges websites, school portals, upgrading of scores..

You're not too late! Ask any time. Our residence halls do use keycards. We take security very seriously and have a variety of security measures.
Tours of residence halls are a great idea and we will add them to our to-do list!

It’s so annoying and ironic that this was posted around the same time we cannot use any of these facilities at school and wont get our money back for not being able to use them even though charges were made for them but the purpose of the video is for university to attract more students so they can make more money....

I grew up in the southwest and attended U of I for grad school. The cold was fun MOST of the time. It was nice being able to experience a different climate for a longer span of time.
