  • This is the first video I'm going to be posting about bike parts. This is the Bontrager ion 100R bicycle light.
    This bright and convenient light has exceptional performance and gets the job done very well. Check it out.

    *NOTE: not available on amazon.* I had to search google.
    2nd note: I know the audio is terrible. Note for you, do not save audio as a .m4a file. Save as a .wav file! Much better quality, unless I don't know what I'm doing with my audio.

    Why no mention of water resistance? Is it IPX rated?

    WHAT???? The light is not cheap!!! Its precision German made. I payed $150 for a white one for the front of my bike and a Red one for the Back of my bike. Very good product.

    Did you use both brightness modes and time it from charge to dying?..
    Great video been wanting a cheap light with quality brightness

      No I didn't. That's a good idea. I still have this light and I can put that to the test and report to you the results I find and post it in the description, and thank you for the consideration. :-)

      Hey man! Sorry for your long wait. I have some results for you. So, the light has JUST the amount of battery life as advertised. Max brightness lasts for about an hour and a half as advertised (1hr 28min. The medium brightness goes just under 5 hours (4hr 55min.), and the dimmest took just under 16 hours (15hr 35min)
      However, once it gets low on power, it goes into its flashing mode so it can last longer.
      These results could be because I use this light quite often and the battery life got lower. Just something to consider. Thanks man!

      @@testbikerwill thanks will, I went ahead and bought one about 2 weeks ago.. was on clearance from 29$ to 10$.. either way it's a light just incase I run into dark hours by mistake or accidentally..truly appreciate the time and effort looking into the time frames for me..

    Does it have a LOW LIGHT INDICATOR that tells u when to charge ur battery? Like green is full and red is empty? Thanks

    • @badaa2
      @badaa2 Před 3 lety

      Yes the charging light (red) turns on when there’s about 25% left

    Can you change the way you remove the light itself? i.e. instead of sideways, upwards? I have little space between the cords and the Wahoo, so no chance of removing it sideways. Thnx.

    • @badaa2
      @badaa2 Před 3 lety +1

      The light fixing can twist round 360 degrees so shouldn’t be a problem

      @BAMugz Před 3 lety +1

      Bontrager has a stem and blendr system where you can mount both the light and your wahoo

    Bought these yesterday - pretty unimpressive tbh!
    The ‘strap’ which holds the cube LED box is easily knocked off and doesnt clamp / wouldnt trust £60 worth of lights like this...
    Requested a return and refund

    Absolute garbage do waste your money, lasted 3 days, both leaked and one packed up, and battery lasted about 4 hrs.
