Yes !! CPS is a broken system ! Example from MS. 9 month old drowns in bath. 7 and 5 yr old siblings discovered malnourished. Urine and dirt covered clothing from second hand markets. Home filthy , wasp nests attached to front door ( active ) and yard unkept or mowed. Children temporarily sent to Aunt’s home. Children clean , fed , bathed and learning thriving. 2 months later children sent back to neglected parent home ( shack ). I helped those children and bought them new clothing , toys , toiletries:(. It breaks my heart there is not a better scale or check points to help kids without infringing upon adult rights.

I am a foster mom and I NEVER post about my foster children because that is invasion of their rights. I hate stories like these because it gives good foster parents a bad name. It's like any profession or hobby or love there is always bad apples in all of them that ruin for the ones that do it for the love. Not to be a 'Savior" complex vibe but I don't even except the money for my foster children because it hurts the parents to get back on their feet to get them back (if they are trying to get them back) because all that money foster parents get the parents have to pay a portion of that back as child support. I have raised 5 foster children and if the parents don't try to get them or help themselves then I try to just adopt them or guardianship them so that I know they will always have a forever home and mom with me. And to this day the 3 that I did adopt are grown and all still see me as mom and visit me and gave me grandbabies. So there is good foster moms but they don't like blasting it just like I don't unless a story like this comes up. Also you will never see me posting anything about foster children in fact when people see my children that is what they think they are my children!!

I grew up in a abusive household and an emotionally neglectful household. I was never touched, hugged, and barely talked to. I never knew what it was like to hear “I love you” or held by a mom. I’m in my 30s now and until my mid 20s I would immediately cry when someone hugged me. It was an uncontrollable reaction and I didn’t know why, I was embarrassed. But I figured eventually that I just thought I was so worthless and unworthy and the touch and love of another person to me allowed me to feel so powerfully that I just didn’t know how to handle the emotion of it. I see that when I see that little boy cry. He has a hard life and he wasn’t loved by the people who took him in. Then a stranger hugs him and holds him. I see all that emotion. He didn’t get the love he deserved, none of those kids did. I am so upset at this story. Horrible people, I wish those kids were saved.

What they should do was seek happiness from God by stop againsting his WILL. They also killed themselves because the spirit in them were the one using them for all these. But now why does it seem like your sticking up for these women that hurt so many people by taking the lives of these babies. We all may not be perfect and be sinners ourselves but these two deserve to be called monsters ‘cause that is exactly what they are. Then yes unfortunately they caused more pain and hurt to their friends and family by taking their own lives but that’s exactly what they deserved. Because if the tragic story did t end like that then they would have more than deserved the death penalty for sure. But what I’m trying to say is to me it sounds like your trying to say that they had problems and issues with themselves and because of that that’s why they did this and your trying to say it’s wrong to call them monsters just because we aren’t perfect ourselves. Well I don’t care how imperfect that I am myself these two deserve being called monsters and deserve to be dead and deserve to be in hell for what they did to those babies.

At least we say "lord have mercy". You know why? Because they were one of the people he died for! God loves sinners just as much as righteous. He only hate their sinful deeds. When he made them he made them in his image. Their were unfortunately just as judah choose to sale Jesus for 30 they choose sinful life and the consequences cost not only theirs but the innocent children lives. That is truely sad. Yet we are no one to call them monsters. Because we did so much that God kept secret for us and giving us opportunities to repent till this very moment. Now, its best to repent for ours not use the moment (the opportunities) to judge others like us whom faced the consequences of their deeds already.

This story makes me so sad. I was in foster care and was horribly abused. When you said that people at the school stopped reporting abuse because they knew the kids would get punished, that hit me so hard. I will never forget my first grade teacher and my Principle. They fed me and helped me as best they could while I was in school. Also my amazing principle wanted to adopt me. I luckily, at the age of 7, got adopted from my parents now. They are truly amazing. But let me tell you, the people who hurt me the most were rich, white, evil, had kids of their own, and I feel they truly enjoyed the abuse they put me through. Physical, mental, sexual. True evil exists and sometimes it looks like perfect people.

I even eventually got a little brother they adopted too. I hope you get to adopt one day. There are so many kids, and teens in the system that could use your love and beautiful soul. 💕

This case really hit me hard. This is absolutely horrific. Those poor kids were just trying to survive. Every time they tried to escape or had help from others, the family would pack up and move. They were completely failed by CPS. The system desperately needs to be reimagined. I think that when things happen behind closed doors, there seems to never be enough 'evidence' for services to actually do something. I also find there is this stigma around getting involved in other people's business and that needs to change because not enough people report their concerns. What law enforcement interpret as evidence needs to change because it was clear that these children were starving. The fact that cps didn't bust down the door when no one came to answer has me extremely concerned.

Yeah it's crazy my son got took after I said, I couldn't find his glasses. Well the reason why C.P.S came was because his father picked him up from school that day and smacked him in the back of head. Which my son who is now 13 and was 10 at the time will tell you. He's never been beaten. They said as long as he did it with a open hand. But for them to take my son right away out of the house because I couldn't find his glasses was insane. My son had to spend a night. Which now he says was the worst night of his life. But,,,, obviously not because he still talks back to his father. To put it lightly

I was justbawling watching this, & my husband asked me why I watch stuff like this. I told him it was because those children deserved to have their story heard. Otherwise they'll be forgotten, with no one ever having to think about their fear and hunger & pain. It's so devastating. But at least they can live on through all of us.

Many people get confused when they suspect a child being abused, but the kids seem so happy. Well, take it from a child abuse surviver. The kids seem happy, because they ARE HAPPY, TO BE IN AN AREA WHERE THEY WONT BE ABUSED. So at school, or in public. It is protection. So the kids are happy.
