And how true that was! I was thinking surely it's only about 10 bad people, but I looked at some photos and videos of South Korea, and I sense no love in that place. The people are not happy there and they are not lively. In Manila instantly I sense the love in that place. The people in the Philippines are truly happy, helpful and lively. I sense the same in Japan. The people are happy and lively and would help if asked.

From the perspective of a Korean-American, racism is prevalent in Korean media and its been going on for years. There are multiple instances of Korean celebrities making fun of SEA countries many times. To them, it's funny-even to the point of adding laughing sound effects to racist jokes, but I think it's straight up disgusting and poor in taste. It only makes me want to distance myself from Koreans even more. Even in real life, Korean students that moved to the U.S. that I've interacted with don't give off a friendly vibe and are judgmental towards others. Honestly, it makes me hesitant to visit the country my parents came from. Maybe I'm just unlucky with my encounters, but Koreans currently don't have a good rep. in my book.

KUYA PLSS READ THIS NO NEED TO HEART MY COMMENT:
The reason why filipinos have a good relationship with other country is because our "ninuno" or leader taught us first to love our own country and having many foreigners in our country makes us happy and in my opinion philippines has the best culture starting from our songs, dance, traditions we show ORIGINALITY and I brag my country and loving my country is priceless♄...And if you can observe not all filipinos are lucky to study but they have respect to others and those people used to do philippine culture more because they dont know other things so they just do what our culture says and even tho they are not ecucated they still know how to show true love to everyone like me Im just a student and I show respect and love for everyone I see and I also have a friend that wants that's interested in philippine culture I am still teaching her because she is mh first international friend that is interested in philippine culture.

As I become more aware of what’s happening around me, I was saddened after hearing lots of news about my race being looked down to. While most of us, Filipinos, welcome and treat foreigners well. Filipinos are misunderstood and judged by foreigners. It’s sad but also understandable due to their lack of knowledge about us. And I am happy to hear a good feedback towards us. All I wanted for our country is to be understood and respected. At the end of the day, we are all humans. We have our flaws. We have our strengths. No matter what the economic standing and education background people have, we all deserve to be treated with kindness.

Koreans won’t deny their standoffish personality because they honestly believe there are valid reasons for their actions and customs. Filipinos, overall value different things. Filipinos really cherish life. Being kindhearted to others, loving family and friends, good vibes is how they embrace life. Their attitudes reflect their values. Materialistic countries, such as Korea, view life as a chore and their actions reflect their attitude.

Actually the "bayanihan" trait that we have are now modernized it's more of generosity or being helpful to others that it's almost as being hospitality.

Hello Filipino here I just wanna say
We smile even in our hardest times
We laugh if we our sad
And we help no matter what's the lost
Even if we Have different blood and different country
We are people who should help each other
Smiling is our courage to go on in this stormy road
    Until we see hope
Waiting above in a bright light of sun
    We are one
So we will stand up together and become one
💖That's all thank you for reading
