Looks awesome Matt!
Your Dad did a great job of getting the chrome to shine, and the LEDs are something I'll be looking into.
Thank you!
Hey Alvin. He did do a good job. It's been good to work with him on this project. I really like the LED lights. I got them from Birds Nest
Say, I did that same job on my Tbird last summer. Fun. Now I have watched your video twice on the steering box rebuild.... I am dreading it. God bless. Oh, and you need a Green Bay T-shirt.
Hey Mike. The gearbox wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I was pretty nervous though and I still have to test it out. Now about the shirt.🧀
The car is looking very nice
Thanks Rick. It's good to see it coming together for sure
Looking good, just starting on my 64 bird
Thanks. I would love to see some photos of your project. My email is in the info section below the video.
Great work, i appreciate your attention to detail when explaining what your doing. I may not go as deep as my car is in very good condition, that said, i like the style of your restoration.
PS, Im waiting on my heater core return from restoration shop.... you did give me good moral support I'll let ya know how i make out
Thanks for the kind words... I hope you get your heater core back soon and get it back on the road.
@Exit45Restorations thanks, I got a core from a guy parting his car out, this way, I can remove and replace without delay. If you have a moment, what are your thoughts on my my A/C coil having no leaks? I'm going to have compressor rebuilt change all O rings and charge system... cross my fingers 😆
@josephclarke4244 youncould see if there is a way to put a little pressure to it and see if it holds.
@Exit45Restorations I was thinking about doing that, I worked construction for 30 years, so I'm familiar with pressure testing plumbing, maybe 10 pounds?
@josephclarke4244 ya.. i wouldn't do very much. Maybe less to safe. I've never looked into it so I'm not sure
Hello Matt. Your bumper turned out real nice. I didn't notice if you put the rubber rock protectors back on ?
George B
Hey George. You are the first one to notice it. I realized it the next day. The bumper will have to come off one more time and I will get them on then.
