Queen: 1991 - Innuendo (Episode 37)
/ queenofficial - Hudba
Freddie was so terminally ill and still sang so powerfully and beautifully, pure goosebumps 💯💯💯
He was,is ,and always will be the best🙏❤
Though he was physically ill, he had a heart of diamond. Such a strong man. I have never heard of anyone who is such a strong mentally even though he know he about to die
@@rishabhsemwal4180 I know,he was so strong and brave, never complained, and he must have been in great pain,he always cared about his friends than himself when he was so sick, he was wonderful in every way and luckily his voice stayed with him almost to the end luck for all of us
This album brought me back to early Queen era. Hard rock voice, and also influenced a bit pop. Like Brian said "the best album from long time ago". I agree with him. This album is fantastic, also poignant because this is a farewell album.
My favourite, right with Queen II
The title track is so haunting that I get goosebumps whenever I listen to it.
That’s because Freddie was already very ill, but not really as severe as in 1991. So obviously this album and Made in Heaven are albums which isn’t as normal as other Queen albums.. 😞
Brian and Steve both played on the acoustic solo.
The best Queen song
Innuendo remains a personal favorite of mine. Not only did Queen rediscover some of their old magic, they also went down a darker path on that album and found a depth that they never had before. It's a shame it was the last album that Freddie saw released in his lifetime, but the band sure did go out with a mighty bang.
It’s my favourite song too, it’s great to hear that I’m not the only one who loves it. Such an underrated song imo
Show must go on was not recorded in one take by Freddie.
Innuendo acoustic flamenco was played by both Brian and Steve Howe.
Me too
@@roverwaters3875 "Show must go on was not recorded in one take by Freddie."
Prove it.
@@MintyCoffee nah, I just state the correct FACTS,
don't have to prove what's all ready known.
I've heard "The Show Must Go On" hundreds if not thousands of times, when Freddie hits that high note I still get goosebumps. To have been a fly on the wall in the studio at that time,I would love to see a behind the scenes with some of the recording process.
funny how undeducated, lamebrained people believe Freddie recorded that song in one take. 😅like that is how complex recordings are done...in one take 🤣
Funny how you provide no proof of your claim.
@@roverwaters3875 it is ridiculous, but they believe he did because he's Freddie Mercury.
D5
@@roverwaters3875 so many people repeating the same story over and over and over and over and over. We don't need to hear about "one take" to make this song any more amazing.
All of Queen's songs are meaningful masterpieces, but Innuendo is the gift that Freddie Mercury wanted to give to the world, when he knew he was going to die. He wanted to reveal the personal power we all have to create and manifest and turn ourselves into anything we think that we could ever be 🔥
You made my cry reading your post. 😥🤩
Freddie is Incomparable
Innuendo is like a 90s Bohemian Rhapsody, and that's why I adore that song
Wonderful song in a masterpiece last album togheter, a return to rock origins..Freddie's voice is incredibly powerful and Brian's solo comes directly into the heart.....Simply fantastic , Queen forever the best band....
Brian and Steve both played on the acoustic solo.
Adam Lambert background band queen we are the champions singing we are the champions background band 900,000 likes on CZcams music video
Innuendo was such a unique song by queens. And that flamenco part by Brian was great on electric guitar.🔥🔥🔥
The flamenco part wasn’t played by Brian
@@alejrosales yeah the acoustic one was played by someone else. But the electronic guitar one was played by brian
The guitar player from the band YES played the flamenco part.
@@nils-rocks IM IN THE ROUNDABOUT
you are all a bunch of tardis
The song was all ready recoded and finished when it was presented to Steve.
Obviously this means the flamenco motif on electric and acoustic was played before by Brian.
Steve just added some clever lines on top of it.
30 years. RIP Freddie.
As I'm concerned, " Innuendo " was the exclamation mark of the band's career. And, it was a POWERFUL statement. It seemed like an album that offered musical riffs similar to their past while pushing themselves into a slightly darker path lyrically. Stunning album.
Innuendo is one of my long time most favourite Queen albums. Such a masterpiece! Thank you Queen, the greatest band on this planet, and thank you Freddie, アリガトウ!
Innuendo is not just my favourite Queen album but also my favourite Queen song, it’s just the most perfect embodiment of Queen’s abstract and theatric nature! The guitar solo is perfectly complemented by the intense drumming! The music video is also their best in my opinion, despite the band not appearing physically, they managed to pull off their most interesting and captivating concept yet!
Innuendo is like a emotional hymn from inside to outside ❤
Freddie is a legend 💕❤️
What an incredible force. If you listen to 'The Show Must Go On' knowing that Freddie was almost dying... and still hit such high notes. Goosebumps.
Freddie did not record the song in one take
@@roverwaters3875 I believe Brian May. And still if he didn’t record it in one take, what difference that makes? He was dying, FFS.
@@BRACAmusic Brian May never said Freddie recorded the whole song in one take
@@roverwaters3875 Me neither.
The first proper album I ever owned. Received for my 10th Birthday, along with a promise that I would be taken to see them live next time they toured. Little did we know 😢
There was the tribute concert! Did you get to see that? (I wasn’t even born back then, so no chance for me🥲)
@@streamlinedengine Watched it on TV. I would guess it sold out within hours. Must have been an incredibly strange experience for the surviving members. To be simultaneously the biggest band in the world and also completely over.
@@mowogfpv7582 They could have gotten a new singer, though I guess that would be pretty out of the question.
@@beenalive1736 if they'd tried to tour with a new singer after the tribute concert the backlash would have been unbelievable. Freddie was basically princess Diana at that point and the tribute concert served as an extended tryout to prove that he was irreplaceable.
@@mowogfpv7582 Maybe they could have changed their name to do that, and judging by later solo albums by the members, also changed their sound to form sort of a new band (John granted not to take part in this)
To this day,I can not listen to The Show Must Go On and by the end of the song just be a blubbering mess. What a beautiful performance by Freddie
I hear you. I listen to Queen almost every day and these songs are my favorite. Ive picked The Show Must Go On to be played at my funeral..I also love Breakthrough. That is another of my favorites. Queen is my favorite band of all time. Long live Freddie. We miss you so much!! 😢
The show must go on : definitely the greatest song ever!
I agree!!!
This song came out when I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at 18 years old.
This song helped me to cope with the problems caused by the MS. So of course it means a lot to me. The line 'I'll face it with a grin, I'm never giving in' had a huge impact on me.
Having said that, the whole album was brilliant.
@@rachelpenny5165 I have that very line tattooed on my foot to always remind me to never give up!
Timeless, along with The Beatles best ones.
amen 🙏
I was just listening to this album a few days ago. Anything Queen does is phenomenal! Love Innuendo .❤.
I think both the song and album Innuendo is underrated. You rarely hear people say it is one of their favourites. But I think the album is more than worthy farewell, it's fun, quirky, sad, emotional, all at once..
It is mine. Innuendo is like Bohemian Rhapsody that has matured like a fine wine.
Innuendo was out of this world. Queen sounded the best since the early years. RIP Freddie. Miss John on bass. Rock on.
The most bittersweet gift from King Freddie and the Boys: Innuendo with all of its songs and videos. Thank you SO much, Queen! I still miss you tons, Freddie❣️
I have Innuendo. What an incredible album.
Я тоже!
Freddie Mercury...a person who truly deserves to be the lengend that he is...
Probably their greatest album for me. Really a great way to go out. It’s deep, dark, silly, crazy, everything Queen were.
I LOVE YOU QUEEN!
Masterpiece track in a masterpiece album!!!!!
My favorite Queen-Album, it is absolutely amazing. It covers the whole magic the music of Queen stands for and includes my favorite song "The Show Must Go On". Masterpiece ❤️🎶
Какой волшебный голос у Фредди,чудесная музыка!Лучшая группа!
Freddie is and was the greatest showman that ever lived....there will be no substitute for him...ever.
30 años sin Freddie y su música sigue tan fresca.
One of the greatest albums of all time!
I agree
Queen is the greatest band ever! Innuendo has beautiful songs that I love, but it's the saddest album too, with the clips showing Freddie so weakened by the disease. He had immense strength and his voice remained the most powerful in rock 'til the end. I loved the video, thanks for sharing, QueenOfficial! 👑 💘 🌹
It's 30 years now since Freddie has gone to a better place. An still there seems nobody who can replace him - not even close :(
But Marc Martel has an amazing voice and an amazing touch.
Miss you, Freddie. Thank you.
Freddie is really a champion and no matter how many times you say he’s dead he will still live on through his music and his band member’s
Сказочный альбом!Фантастически красивый!Queen лучшие музыканты 💎💎💎💎👑👑👑👑
Brian and Steve both played on the acoustic solo.
❤️👑 INNUENDO 👑❤️ My Favorite album!!! ♥
Sadly we will not have chance to listen to Innuendo live. The song is so HUGE. One most underrate Queen's song even with that high quality of vocal, guitar, flamenco guitar, drum and bass.
I love Innuendo, strong and different Queen 💛
The war between life and fake hope
This music is just so adorable...
we want official release of Hyde Park ‘76 and Earl’s Court ‘77
My all time favourite album.
Innuendo is q awesome album and These Are The Days Of Our Lives and The Show Must Go On are amazing as Freddie's farewell songs. R.I.P Freddie Mercury
Most people don't realize how much Freddie gave to his songs. Show must go on, some of the lines on there have insane vocal ranges and he managed to do them while being sick, and the sickness affected his throat alot, but nothing can stop him.
Masterpiece after masterpiece!!! At the end, Freddie give us our most powerful songs!!!
One od my favorite album, I love. Don ´t Try So Hard, so beautiful song 💖
Спасибо, QUEEN!
Treinta años sin ti Freddie, pero toda una vida a tu lado con Queen, y eso que estamos todavía en camino.🎸✌️The show must go on...
I always loved the innuendo album...its a brilliant piece of art
The Miracle was my favorite album, but Innuendo came next. So talented, especially knowing Freddie was ill. Best group ever. ❤️👑
Headlong is one of Queen's most underrated and one of their best songs.
Que decir de este álbum? Una verdadera obra maestra!!!!
#QueenForever #30yearswithoutFreddie 💛💙❤💚👑
Another excellent episode. I listen to the Greatest Hits CD 2 a few times a week. It's weird but I feel an emotional connection to the band & especially Freddie while listening to it❤
The Miracle has forgotten?..
You know, the clips, at least, deserve attention
The Show Must Go On...
Queen I love your songs I'm 11 years old I like you a lot I'm from Brazil
I really want to go to your concert when you do it I love your work so much
Que coisa mais linda ❤️

I loved the part where Freddie would say to Brian, "For god's sake, put the tape on." They always did, do and will do the best thing in the world, I love Freddie, I love Brian, I love Roger, I love John and I love Queen🤍💓
🎶😊🎶😊🎶😊😊🎶🎶🎶😊🎶😊😊🎶😊🎶😊 Queen (band) still a genius!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RIP Freddie Mercury 😢💔💔😢😢💔😢💔😠💔🙏🙏🙏
This is probably my favorite Queen album, although there is a lot of competition. There is so much soul here, and you can feel it permeate your own.
30 years... Miss you, Freddie! 💖
Innuendo is one of my favourite Queen songs. Show Must Go On is a tour de force. How Freddie sang so powerfully when he was so ill could only be put down to will power. Days of Our Lives is also one of my favourites. This album has some absolute gems. 👑💛❤️
Innuendo is my favorite album!!!
"You can be anything you want to be..."
Queen's own definition of their musical style (I think)
やっぱQueenはええなあ
Last year, was 30th anniversary of the album “Innuendo”! I heard the cover of “The Show Must Go On”🎶🎵
the time where it was easy for the fans to notice change in his energy that time he left such powerful album innuendo flawless and barely any mistake or change in his energy can be noticed
A coward dies a thousand deaths a brave man taste of death but once aka the show must go on. Unquestionably one of the best songs ever 🙏🕯️🏳️🌈
This is the best video in the Queen The Greatest series.
Outstanding is definitely the word for it. The Show Must Go On is one of my favorite songs. Very talented bunch. Freddie proved his talent with that song
To me, Innuendo is the best studio album they made. The two songs, Innuendo and The Show Must Go On, are my two favourites in the whole Queen calatogue. You can feel the energy of the group they drew from the dark above them. The texts and the music are outstanding, and fitting. The episode of The Greatest pays fantastic tribute to that landmark album!
Innuendo is one of my top 10 songs and album. You can feel the energy and the passion in every song. This was yet another masterpiece! Freddie gave us his best when he was at his worst. Brian often talks about Freddie doing The show must go on, I. One take. He said he was blown away at Freddie’s ability to overcome adversary. Queen has already stood the test of time, deserving of being Legend status. Long may they reign. ❤️
Queen forever we will never for get you Freddie mercury you rocked the world
Thank you for all 💕💕💕
Definitely in my top 5 Queen albums!
Every song on that album gives me chills. It's a masterpiece!
Innuendo... Bohemian Rhapsody in the 90's💖
Guitar work on Bijou is spectacular
El album es una obra de ARTE!!!!!!!!!!!!
IT'S BEATYFULL💖💖💖💖💖

Just love this album 👍💕🎤🎵
INNUENDO IS THE BEST ALBUM 👑❤
I love you so much Queen!
one of their best lps ever , what a production
He sang this song with so much power.. I remember Roger saying Freddy's voice wad ghetting thinner into the end.. You can't here it.... He was so ill at that time... This hero was a legend!💖
Que Deus abençoe a todos do queen
Show must go on is a great way to bookend a great career and quite appropriate given the circumstances he was living thru.
My favorite Queen album

Merci la voix de Freddy c est à pleurer de bonheur .Vive Queen que Dieu les protége . FREDDY est tjs dans nos coeurs .
Queen are my favourite band and I remember the day that Freddie died really well because it was only a few days before my birthday. However, let's take a moment to remember David Richards who died in Dec 2013. Fantastic music producer.
Absolutely Masterpiece 👑
Come ogni album o canzone porta emozioni
Till end he enjoyed his life with fullest. Queen 👑 Forever ❤
A masterpiece of a song and masterpiece of a music video
