Queen - Innuendo (Official Video)
/ queenofficial - Hudba
You can't define queen. It is not heavy metal, not rock n' roll, not pop.
It is Queen
Class !
divine masterpiece
Freddie would probably state something similar to "interpretation is subjective DAHLINGS"... "Be free with your tempo be free be free. Surrender your ego be free be free to YOURSELF" 💛
Glam rock
Not opera
This song is Bohemian Rhapsody of 90's, shame nobody ever treated it that way.
Even the music video is like the Bohemian Rhapsody of the 90s
Actually Innuendo did very well in the UK as a single...It's not remembered as well today, but I'm sure many at the time thought it was the Bo Rhap of the 90s.
It was the first #1 single in the UK since Under Pressure in 1981 for them. So thats not really true.
Syd Poletaev this and Radiohead's paranoid Android
when i first listen to this song was like "oh im going to press the like button"and then the song ended and i was like"nah it ended anyway"
One of my most favorite Queen songs. The power, passion, and force behind it. Nothing really compares to it.
Cierto solo los ke somos fans de queen entendemos esta obra de arte
Why it's never played on the radio is a complete mystery to me.
One of their best.
It's always been my personal favourite Queen song! Freddie's voice alone could start the apocalypse on this track.
This one is simply the absolute best rock song e all times!..
Absolutely agree ❤
Rock + Opera + Metal + Twist + Flamenco + Baladas + Pop + Blues + Folk= Masterpiece = Queen
Agree!
Queen is all kinds of music
You forgot dixieland (Bring Back Bad Leroy Brown) and Jazz (Good Company) and Trash (Stone Cold Crazy).
Was
Also Sheer Heart Attack (Song) is punk
This song is criminally underrated.
YES!!!! And for me is actually the best Queen song off all time
Why not Bohemian Rapsody?
Deathwing:WoW, Hearthstone and other. Bohemian Rhapsody Is unfairly overrated.
Deathwing:WoW, Hearthstone and other. I dont really know, but no other song can give me goosebumps like Innuendo :)
it is because Freddie never could give any live performances of this song. There are so many songs since 1987 that are extremely underrated
Favorite Queen Songs:
1. All of them.
That's me!
yep.
That one, Love of my life, My Fairy King, Liar, Killer Queen, These Are The Days of our Lives are my absolutely favorites
Yeah actually all them songs are so damn good somehow
I like Bohemian Raphsody.
Underrated masterpiece
I'd say "overlooked" is a better word.
But it's still a pretty underrated song
Doubt it underrated after all it was their only number one as a group in his lifetime apart from BR (Under pressure with a collaboration)
@dlamiss bohemian rhapsody was number 1 in his lifetime too , just meant innuendo doesn't get played or mentioned as much as the other classics , especially because it was a number 1 song too. It's a masterpiece but doesn't get the acclaim it deserves.
@dlamiss sorry just seen the BR
One of the greatest Queen songs of all time. So overlooked at a time when freddie was slowly losing his battle with aids. How the hell did he manage to sing this damn good when seriously ill. Phenomenal. And my favourite queen song ever.
FREDDIE CAUGHT A COLD AND HIS DOCTOR PUT HIM ON AZT ( A TREATMENT CREATED BY FAUCI AND HIS MURDERERS )...AT THE TIME THERE WAS 1.4 MILLION AMERICANS WITH AIDS LIVING A NORMAL LIFE BUT WITH AUTO IMMUNE DEFICIENCY SYNDROME...THEY GOT VERY POORLY IF THEY HAD THE FLU/COLD.....FAUCI'S POISON IS WHAT KILLED A GREAT NUMBER OF THEM
You must hear ‘The Show Must Go On’ his vocals there are immaculate, no one, even a healthy person in their best condition could sing that or even dare to. And freddie managed to even with full blown AIDS
I swear this is one of the best songs that Queen has got to offer. Please don't kill me but I believe it's at the level of Bohemian Rhapsody IMO. Really a masterpiece here.
+Nivchax Reynoso Yes, you may be right. But try March Of The Black Queen.......... :) That will take you for a ride :) It is from their 2nd album Queen II and is considered as an early material for BH.
Ieva Brice Amazing song also!
Nivchax Reynoso
:) Hahaa, good job !
+Nivchax Reynoso Dont worry, every music from Queen its the BEST one - :D
+Nivchax Reynoso Honestly any Queen is great for me.
this song is an absolute masterpiece. People are saying it's better than bohemian rhapsody but to be honest, how can you even choose between 2 QUEEN songs.
they are all amazing
Indeed, we can found the mix of styles in the same track, just huge!!!!
100% true.
Keep on smiling... To the end of time...❤️

Exactly! I choose them ALL!
Believe me in 2024 people still listen to this 😎😉

They will liste in 2044
Queen came from a time when music was not just true art, but it was LIFE
Still is water oxygen and food for me
That statement was very true
When I listen to this song I feel like it's the best of all Queen's songs, but when I listen to another song of their great songs, I get the same feeling, i think this is the magic of Queen, and the magic of FREDDIE , and no one else could have this kind of magic,
FREDDIE we miss you, we still love you FOREVER.♡
Nour Michaelce WELL SAID !!! :)
Ilias Bk thank you .
I can not decide, but Innuendo is a very meaningful song, it tells you about reality , gives you hope, and makes you keep smiling,
It's another iconic of Queen's iconic songs, just perfect.
Nour Michaelce PERFECT RESPONSE ! ;)
Ilias Bk thank you again :D

Freddie was a better singer while dying than most other singers could EVER hope to be.
Rick Jasper 100%
The illness never affected his voice, fortunately for us and for him. I think he would have been very sad
When I had mild pneumonia, I could barely talk. He was *dying* from pneumonia and did this masterpiece. Truly an icon
Well, it actually did affect his voice. Listen him sing Bohemian Rhapsody before illness and then he have illness
Uhm.. *points at Ronnie James Dio, basically the Freddie Mercury of Metal*
My sister and I loved Queen. She's gone now. I still listen to Queen everyday.
RIP
DECT
She's not dead. She's taking an opportunity to kick it with Freddie
The best song by Queen, hands down.
I fully agree with you. Real masterpiece. Can you imagine if Freddie survived 1991 what original songs we will got today after Innuendo. I guess, one more masterpiece, between 1991 and 2001.
las palabras de amor
Try listening to "the march of the black queen" it will blow your mind
There will NEVER be another Freddie.
This was a masterpiece....
there can be Freddies
there can only be one Freddie Mercury
This IS masterpiece 🥰
Never ever
And there will never be another queen
Still is, no?
Best song by Queen. Anyone agree? Awesome song. Every time I listen to it, I feel upset that Freddie's gone. We'll never be able to see him. :( This and The show must go on give me the feels
I forgot to mention These are the days of our lives. I freaking love that song as well. I think queen may be the best band of all time.
Cameron Reyno absolutely, nowadays all the bands are like little kids who need mama :D
lol so true
Absolutely! There's something inherently epic in both the song and the video that's not been surpassed by any other band yet. Most of all, it's the powerful Bolero-like crescendo, the multiple musical styles and Freddy Mercury's incredibly versatile voice that make it an evergreen classic.
Yes, his voice is something very special...
A musical and artistic masterpiece.

This is what is happening to me right now. Last weekend I saw the film about Freddie's live, started watching music videos of Queen and now I'm just amazed. Really incredible.
Been there! Done That! Had the 🍀 luck to catch them 2x back to back 🌈 🥰😍 & yes I heard the Angels 👼 singing along! 😘😘😘😍
Everyone knew Freddie was seriously ill by this time . This album and the last songs he sang including A Winter's Tale show you how exceptional a singer Freddie Mercury was. ❤ R.I.P FREDDIE
Freddie WAS Queen!
Everybody talks wonders about this great piece of music that mixes several styles, but no one seems to mention that the virtuoso flamenco part was contributed by the great Steve Howe. He really makes the song stand out to the greatest level of artistry. Great composition, marvellous vocals, magnificent band...Yes + Queen = Masterpiece
Exactly, Brian asked Steve for instrumentation and play this solo part. Steve Howe is one of the most accurate guitarists.
This part instilled a deep love for Spain in me. I was 12 when the song was released and a massive fan since live aid.
The song itself has been one of my all time favorites despite there being just too many epic Queen songs to list. That raw emotion of emulating the flamenco in Brian May style. Then followed by the raw emotion with the dark part behind it. Sheer will to live!
I'm not ashamed to admit that I love this more than "Bohemian Rhapsody".
ashamed? try proud. This is my no1 of Queen also, and many many others also, trust me on that
it's like saying you like High Hopes more than Wish You Were Here. You should be proud of that man!
Well..if you discover all queen song..i must say there are more better queen song then BoRhap

For those who saw him live; I just want you to know, I envy you with all my being
I dated a guy who saw them at Rock in Rio in 1985. Pure envy
I saw them in 1980 in San Diego. So Great, I had a mad crush on him❤️ little did I know 😘
My mum saw him when she was 14, she waited outside in the snow and when they finally came out after the show he hugged her.
She said he smelt devine and she didn't wash her arm for a week.
Cassius ItsOver OMG that’s awesome!! Send your mum greetings from Brazil :)
Wish that I had seen them as well. Oh yes.
Queen's best song. So diverse and yet so elegantly put together. It aged so well if any at all.
Because grunge became the latest trend immediately after this prog hit topped the charts.
(I have nothing against grunge; this is simply a change in cultural trends over time.)
While the sun hangs in the sky and the desert has sand
While the waves crash in the sea and meet the land
While there's a wind and the stars and the rainbow
'Til the mountains crumble into the plain
Oh, yes, we'll keep on tryin'
Tread that fine line
Oh, we'll keep on tryin', yeah
Just passing our time
While we live according to race, colour or creed
While we rule by blind madness and pure greed
Our lives dictated by tradition, superstition, false religion
Through the aeons, and on and on
Oh, yes, we'll keep on tryin'
We'll tread that fine line
Oh-oh, we'll keep on tryin'
'Til the end of time
'Til the end of time
Through the sorrow, all through our splendour
Don't take offence at my innuendo
You can be anything you want to be
Just turn yourself into anything you think that you could ever be
Be free with your tempo, be free, be free
Surrender your ego, be free, be free to yourself
If there's a God or any kind of justice under the sky
If there's a point, if there's a reason to live or die
If there's an answer to the questions, we feel bound to ask
Show yourself, destroy our fears, release your mask
Oh, yes, we'll keep on trying
Hey, tread that fine line
Yeah, we'll keep on smiling, yeah (yeah, yeah)
And whatever will be, will be
We'll keep on trying
We'll just keep on trying
'Til the end of time
'Til the end of time
'Til the end of time

@@tristandelacruz2213 roger write innuendo
Oh yes..it's so true..really true..
@@tristandelacruz2213 From wiki.org., "Innuendo" began as a jam session in Switzerland amongst Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon in spring 1989. Freddie Mercury was upstairs and heard them playing the beat, and turned it into a song, creating the melody and starting off the lyrics. From then on all four worked on polishing the track and Taylor took over the lyrics (which were written as a tribute to Led Zeppelin and their song "Kashmir"). The middle section, written by Mercury, was included later and it featured a synth-orchestra programmed by producer David Richards and a flamenco interlude played by Yes guitarist Steve Howe, who had come to visit them and was asked to play.
A day without music from Queen is impossible.

Agree! That man was unique! It will never happen again! Freddie was Napoleon of British pop, rock, metal, twist, flamenco and blues music. this is my favorite queen song. First heard it in 1991, I was blown away by the sheer musicality and creative ideas they put to make this masterpiece. For me its even more complicated yet so beautiful than Bohemian Rhapsody specially the flamenco and opera sections.
I think Queen and Freddie Mercury made two masterpieces: Bohemian Rhapsody and Innuendo. Even other songs are good, even great, but that two songs are really original and legendary. PS: If Freddie survived 1991 and AIDS, I am sure we will got one more masterpiece like that two before. Petty, because it will never happened.
I’d go so far to say Freddie was at the top of his game, even to his last album. His failing health didnt stop him making some of the best music Queen ever produced

It is epic :)
It’s a Spanish Andalusian style called “Sevillianas “(“Sevillian style”).

I don't know if I'm the only one who got this feeling, but I think this really is Freddie's ultimate "testament song", even more so than The Show Must Go on (which on the contrary was a poem by Brian). It exudes will to live and carrying on no matter what from start to finish. And don't get me started on how musically rich and perfect it is. All of this is why I regard Innuendo as the best Queen song as well as a favourite personal one.

Without doubt one of Queen's finest piece of songwriting. (EDIT: I would have guessed that Brian May was the main writer, but it turns out it was mainly written by Freddie and Roger.)
The bleak message of the lyrics has eternal meaning, because we suck at making the world a better place. We keep lying to ourselves to make ourselves feel better than we are.
Is there reason for hope? According to the song - not at all! :O
Even if we can’t hope for the best, we can always help make things better for those we care about. That alone is A Kind Of Magic, and these four men were given that magic.
This Masterpiece gives me goosebump every time I hear it. There will never be another band like Queen. QUEEN FOREVER

What about "The Prophet's Song"? It's even better than "Bohemian Rhapsody" imho.
One of the most underrated songs of all time.
Queen are not underrated... I mean they are one of the greatest bands ever.
If you want something underrated from late Queen try to listen to Bijoux
the Valente Now I never said that Queen were underrated, I said this particular song was.
When you think Queen you think Bo Rap, I Want To Break Free, Under Pressure etc... This song doesn’t usually get all the recognition and really I think it should, and not just in terms of Queen but in terms or Rock as a genre... it’s that good.
Bijou is a fantastic song and that too is underrated, and deserves more love.
@@badwolfarchives3246 sorry for my wrong interpretation. I totally agree: this song is my favorite, but it gets less recognition then some of the most famus Queen pop songs (I want to break free, another one bites the dust, we will rock you etc.) even if theese songs aren't as meaningful and musically interesting as this masterpiece.
But honestly I have to say that saying "underrated" to a lead single of an album that topped the charts after its release is an exageration
the Valente the Valente Well if you look at the grand scope of it all, this song doesn’t get recognised all that well nowadays, especially now that Queen are getting more followers by the day.
And for that, I classify it as underrated even if it topped the charts back when it was released.
In the present day, it’s a hidden gem.
No worries for wrong interpretation.
Rock Music Fan Oh absolutely. Which is a cardinal sin, and I doubt that they would ever get as successful and distinguished as Queen.
I’ll never stop loving you dear Freddie!😭😭😭😭😭😘😘😘😘😘
Queen is the best magical opera rock band in the world and until the end of time and every musician in the band are geniuses, and one and their holy grails.
Hi I recommend a song called 'The Bond Villain' By Robert Nix
Magnificient. No words. Queen is the most legendary and iconic band ever. Their music does not have any limits. It is not “a rock”, it is not “an opera”. Even not a theathre. It is EVERYTHING. And it is pure art. Which stucks in your brain and heart for life. More than words can say. Period. Freddie, why oh why you left us so early... But your music and stage presence will live forever. You are the biggest star of all generations. You were, are and forever will be a musical genius. The voice. The actor. The soul. No one compares to you and will never be able to replace your legacy. Your depth, talent and charisma-one in a lifetime. I hope this music will live forever.
I could just press like, which I did, but I feel compelled to say that I agree:I
Indeed!
Amen👌
Мы его тоже любим
And falco from Austria
Vocal range = Magnificent
Guitars = Breath Taking
Drums + Lyrics = Wow!
You don't say

Drums are very similar to "Kashmir" (Led)
Perfect
Before he died he had this huge burst of creativity, his best yet up to that point in time..
How Queen became eternal music...Four men united in order to form something unique in music history.
the best voice in the world!
Nicio Treaba no doubt, too bad he died young
Salut!
😘😘
How the hell did you get that username? You must be one of the first users of youtube in history.
Nicio Treaba Scientific studies were actually done and confirmed that Freddie Mercury had the best voice in the world. 100% TRUE. I am not shitting you. Google it.
This song is criminally underrated!
Yeah it's my personal favorite Queen song.
Same it's my favourite song queen ever did.
Same, my favourite song from this band. You can feel here something like a unsolved mystery in this masterpiece.
this song is like 2nd bohemian rhapsody to me
@@andd2403 I think i prefer this one because of how many times I've heard Bohemian Rhapsody
I'm kinda rediscovering Queen. I love how the grandness of Freddy's gestures matches the grandness of the music. You don't notice things like that when you're young.
Incomparable.✨💕
This is one of Queen's most intelligent songs with lyrics that speak to mankind eternally
This song is about mankind. All the songs on "Innuendo" have clever lyrics that deal with different views of life and death. The whole album is a truly masterpiece.

Yesterday, i've been to a fantastic show " Queen Symphonic" it's a british band of four singers and six musicians touring around the world with a Symphonic Orchestra. The experience of a lifetime!!! Everyone must see if they are booked in their country. Trust me, you won't regret it ! ❤

Perfect song, perfect video. So powerful and sad too😢
True
Ruina Imperri. Queen: Hold our talent
U guys do know that there is Bohemian Rhapsody
*Hold my Halileo.
I just cant get enough of classical rock.. they go together brilliantly.. its such a shame because back in the 70s he was relatively quiet and lacked confidence because of his teeth, but when he cut his hair and grew a tash this really good looking guy just popped into existence and he knew it, that made his confidence grow exponentially and he was at his happiest he'd ever been in his whole life, and then HIV ripped his life from under him, life just punishes us when we find happiness or pleasure of any kind, sex, drugs, alcohol there's always a punishment for obtaining plesure and happiness in this reality..
Til the ENNNND of time! RIP Freddie Mercury , from Ryan in Los Angeles 2023 we still love you
I've never heard a song with so many different styles in it especially switching so wildly from one to another.
Don't cry because Freddy died
Smile because Freddy lived

Yes karina , is no other like fredy
Simply an incredible masterpiece. Absolute classic.
It's just a masterpiece to the end of time. like all of Queen's songs. Simbiosis of rock & rol, opera, pop, flamenco...and so on
Only god knows the mystereis that go around in the head of this great being.🎉
LET'S TALK ABOUT THE VIDEO. I MEAN, C'MON GUYS!! It's *stunning*
It is!
I actually find it terrifying, and possibly the creepiest thing ever. The song is amazing tho!
@@milliegrace4161 By 1991 almost all rock videos were creepy or shocking. Remember 1991 was the awake of grunge and alternative music into mainstream
It was censored by some music channels because it contained images of the Armenian Genocide
I agree mate, it’s brilliantly inventive. I love that it’s creepy as hell - somehow that matches the music perfectly. Fucking adore the claymation accompanying Brian’s Spanish guitar solo.
Excellent music video. One of the best. 👍
