So many people just standing around in the line of fire with zero self preservation instinct.
I noticed that too. What is wrong with some people. If I heard a gun going off like that, I would be running for cover.🤔
I agree with you but a lot of people have never heard real gun fire before so they don't get that "Fight or Flight" reaction. Still that old man should have at least started moving towards the back of the restaurant once he figured something was not right. People are more concerned with recording shit these days and that's how they end up victims.
If you move your a harder target to hit tho.....i'd be zig zagging the fuck out of there unless i was armed. Then it would be a whole different story...

Yes, sir...I worked in the Homicide Division of a large city for about half my career. The job can take it out of you after awhile.
Its called "doing your duty"
I like this cop’s style. Take control of the perp and the scene quickly, take to perp to the car, and respond with a terse “shut up” every time he begins rambling.
Since this would be considered: "A Free Admission", sometimes it is a good idea to let them ramble, so it can be used against them in a court of law....
And I love the fact that he has the shotgun ready to roll. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear as though he got any of the 00 buck on target.
You must watch a lot of California police videos then lol, this is what every police department should be doing. Asses your threats, run in quick and take care of business.
i also noticed that the second cop stepped right into the firing line of the first cop.
further they gave him contradicting orders.

If you got mandatory 25-30 years for this... it wouldn't happen as often, if at all.
You should like a democrat DA making excuses lol.
Mandatory sentencing doesn't do anything to deter the mentally ill. You know, 1st degree murder pretty much has a mandatory life sentence.. and a lot of people still go out and murder others... If you were right... we wouldn't have any murders....
@@HicSvntDracones Seriously, "... murder pretty much has a mandatory life sentence..."? What country is that? It sure as hell isn't the U.S.
@@StevenRogers-hw9dj The punishment for murder in the first degree shall be not less than 30 years nor more than life imprisonment without release, except that the court may impose a prison sentence in excess of 60 years only in accordance with § 22-2104.01 or § 24-403.01(b-2).... 30 years is a life sentence for most people sent to prison.
@@HicSvntDracones Perhaps you can explain why the average time served for murder is 17.5 years, which is a hell of a lot shorter than the vast majority of killers' remaining lifespans.

The man that called in this report was excellent, except exchanging pleasantries at the start. He was cool, calm and collected and gave a perfect description of the perp's height, body size, ethnicity and clothing.

Eating lunch minding their buisness. The Albuquerque way
In my country the police showup 3 days later. Have to find a vehicle first and police that's not on lunch. These police officers are truly a huge asset to their community. People don't appreciate the service they do and the dangers they face every day. Really some of the best police work in the world.
hahaha. In my country the police can´t arrest the guy. They have to present him to an inept civilian authority to validate his arrest. Then he´d be out in an hour after signing some piece of paper. The police has no power of arrest or investigative power. They would not be able to raid his house after this. They have to wait a few months for an order to come down from some lazy, inept prosecutor while the perp is on the street. By then, the time to charge him is already expired. Back to committing crimes
Europe?
I just watched a news report where people in Seattle, WA and I think Portland, OR are starting to turn to being vigilantes in their neighborhoods because of the extremely slow responses by the police to serious criminal activity...in middle class neighborhoods. Police chief and sheriff say they're short staffed, that 100+ positions are not filled. Well, the people voted in the woke politicians that curtail the police and let criminals back out on the street after they commit a felony while they were out on bond for a previous felony that was committed while they are on parole from prison.
That’s common here in the US too.
