FYI- NMSP are certified to conduct PIT/TVI and are legally authorized to do so, BUT policies dictate (currently) speed at 30mph, however supervisor approval for above that and when the suspect driver poses immediate threat to public or LEO.
The difference is, Arkansas is LEO friendly state (the people, the laws, the governor and judicial) and NM state legislators are full of DUI offenders and blue governed. Out of all the counties in NM, only 10 counties are hard red counties that back the blue 110%.
Keep watching this content creator and keep track of the many NM state lawmakers that get DUI/DWI by NMSP and NM CSO, these legislatures are still holding office. Blue governed counties DA, ADA & judge are criminal friendly, thus create the revolving door that emboldens offenders even more. NMSP/LEO do their job, its the government and judicial systems that don't do theirs, period!
It is no different from California, 70's -1995 CHP/CLEO/CCSO were able to enforce the full extent of the CPC that are still on the books, but again it is blue governed and anti-LEO DA/ADA/Judges that fill the ranks of the judicial system's dictating policies contrary to the states penal code, and it's state constitution. These are facts, not a bias opinion, but the REEE's will fly anyway! End

Poor pursuit policy... ending the pursuit rarely causes the one being chased to slow down or drive better, and it emboldened criminals to think that all they have to do is run and drive crazy and the cops will give up... this guy could have easily gotten away, the cops were lucky they were in the right place at the right time.....
