    It is very good to leave away from your parents but you should leave near to your parents not in joint mode. Although distance helps us to keep good bond😊

    I am living with my parents from past 25 years, since my childhood we've been part of managing household slowlyy and now we took care of our expenses, future financial investments, managing household also me and my sister play a key role in taking crucial decisions in our family. Still we need to know more about bargaining skills, more socializing outside but in the house we're doing a decent job. We're happy to live with our parents 😊

    Not all parents or in-laws will look at their grandchildren as burdens, they may also see it as a opportunity to experience their childhood by the way of their grandkids

      But don’t you think at this age we should not burden them even if they don’t think it as a burden . They have already done their duty of bringing up their own kids and now they need rest . I’ve seen many people who just put all the burden on old parents to take care of kids which is not fair 😅

    I'm in the same shoes you were once wearing before marriage. I still have many life skills to learn in finance etc as i am a software developer and know only to write code. I earn 50k plus since starting of my career but don't know proper investment and finance despite having money. I hope ill end up being a successful person soon and know how to make right decisions✌🏻

    I don't know what you wanted to convey. Increasingly, I am seeing couples and their two sets of parents staying in the same apartment complex but not the same apartments. This way couples have their own house and house rules, but still remain close to their parents to take care of them. The different apartments also reduce conflicts. The availability of grandparents also provides a support system for raising children. This is taking the best of both nuclear and joint families.
    Being street smart (like you mentioned being able to cook, clean, look for a house, etc are all over-rated). I am a scientist, a doctor, or a lawyer. I would rather excel in my profession than learn how to cook, clean, and do house-hunting. For me, these are low-end activities that I would rather outsource to someone and I earn enough to pay for the services. As a lawyer if I spend 1 hour practicing my trade that would contribute more to the economy than trying to cook sambhar at home.

      Fair enough but me and husband might also want to move out of the country and live there for a while .
      During our 2 month stay in Europe we realised how necessary it is to know basic skills and do everything on your own (there is no 10 min delivery app , so you need to plan your entire week ahead)
      For us personally we would want to learn everything from scratch😅 cause have seen many couples around us who have maid /cook/ nanny but are still struggling as they say to manage these people is a bigger headache plus lack of trust these days (many incidents on theft/murder by helpers)
      Also both set of parents staying in same apartment is probably rare 😅 cause many times one set of parents is in a different city and not willing to move to tier 1

    • @IndianMillennialWife
      @IndianMillennialWife  Před 3 měsíci

      Also to answer your question, I was trying to convey that when we live with parents they take up entire responsibility on themselves thinking we are children and they end up doing all the work . Hence couples don’t learn much and have no real world experience. Hence every couple should stay independently atleast for a few years after marriage

    Parents need us in their old age especially because of their health issues. Of course they can step aside in retirement days to make millenials house decisions.

    Actually I dont agree, whether the parents (inlaws) make decisions for us or not totally depends on your husband.

      True but I have noticed many won’t speak up in front of their parents

      @@IndianMillennialWife well, I think my wife would be fortunate in this case bcz, my parents are very supportive and like to pay attention to themselves. As I have observed in case of my sister in law. Also my parents also make it clear to us when we meddle into their business🙂

    I watched your complete video.I am one of the street smart guy you are talking about.As in the video you mentioned you want your voice to be heard so you didn't want to stay with your in laws .Please remember:
    1.Your voice will only be heard if there is a deep sense of economic of financial logic in what you are saying ,it doesn't matter you stay with them or not.Living alone will not change your I.Q😂
    2. Being living in so called tier 1 city as bangalore doesn't gives you any competitive privilege nowdays because of Internet.
    3. You are lucky to have found a husband who thinks like you,but please dont stay in delusion.
    4. By not staying with the in-laws, you are making the biggest mistakes of your life .As you youself mentioned that for 28 years you stayed with parents and learned nothing like street smartness etc and then when you finally got the final oppurtunity to learn from In laws you again missed it.
    5. These people are not 60 + plus years old,but they have 60 + plus years of street smart experience, which you definitely need to stay in Bengaluru for the coming years .
    6.Also please note as there is a common discussion among people in bangalore that A.I. will replace our jobs it is not A.I but street smart people who are in every city in India.
    7.Nowdays there is nothing called tier 1,Tier 2 ,Tier 3 it is just a mindset to grow + internet connection.
    For your knowledge i belong to tier 3 city ,went for a arrange marriage to meet a girl from Bangalore like you.
    She said i want to stay alone .I said ok .Now she stays alone ,i left her .😂
    Later i found a simple yet street smart girl from tier 3 city .My only condition for marriage was that your parents would stay with me after marriage. She was shocked 😮. I said this is my only condition .Now i am building an independent house Near HSR layout G+2 where me ,my parents,my future wife and my future in laws will stay together.
    When I told this to girls parents they were in tears😢and hugged me.Her father said today i found the son i never had (my wife has one younger sister as sibling ) but always desired.Our house work ,will be completed within 3 months and then i will get married.
    Now I from tier 3 city stay in your tier 1 city in my own house with in-laws and not staying alone in an rented accommodation.
    Just one suggestion it is the person which matters and not tier 1,tier 2 ,tier 3.
    This is just a suggestion. Please take it positively 😊.
    Anyway, I love your content, and I'm waiting for more videos.
    Thanks

    Who will talk about inequality in the earnings between married couples? Generally you'll find men contributing more, why shouldn't we reap the benefits of it?

    How about parents donate their 5 cr asset to orphan age or old age home ?😂😂 How surprising it will be?

    • @IndianMillennialWife
      @IndianMillennialWife  Před 3 měsíci

      Not sure about donation but my husband and I have decided that we will not take anything from anyone (both set of parents) until they are alive and will sustain on what me make as a couple 😅 and make our own assets
      This allows us to have control over our lives and make decisions

    • @paragdas8719
      @paragdas8719 Před 2 měsíci

      Hmm.. makes sense... It's obvious being Shravana Kumara won't help much in 2024. Parents also tend to dominate up to full strength these days, wife should have liberty and privacy at her home.
      However the opposite scenario also exists where the wife is too inflexible and adamant and not ready to tolerate 10 % from in laws , however they will happily enjoy in laws assets when they are no more.
      I am not pointing to such couples who are facing real struggle by their dominating parents and getting really exploited, but I am pointing to those couples who are not able to co live with in laws or parents due to inflexible attitude and later shameless enjoy the property.
      I am not pointing to any individual here but talking about certain types of people in the society...

    Hi Mam, do u have a habit of pushing ur teeth using the tongue?. It looks from childhood u had a braces on teeth. It may further lead for teeth to move front and then lead to get the braces back. I don’t know, how it can be stopped, hope u will find the better way to correct this.
