Fun fact, I had a huge fear of car accidents due to being hospitalized for a month when a semi truck rear ended us. It was also the first time I'd ever driven a car having gotten my permit the day prior. I've been watching these type of videos for a year now and my anxiety has been shrinking the more I watch them. Don't know why, but I'm no longer nervous in cars anymore.
Watching these types of videos is actually pretty useful and educational so that you can be better prepared for anything while driving
You should watch this type of video JUST BEFORE driving so you'll be extra careful.

It cannot prevent 100% of such crashes, but still.
A light turned green for me and something made me look at a woman walking on a sidewalk. No idea why I looked. A second later, a truck ran the red light. I would have been T boned hard. Guardian angels exist.
In a vehicle or on foot - always look both ways before crossing a street. Some lessons always make sense.
The light turned green for me but a small voice said don’t move, just then an eighteen wheeler came barreling through the red light. I thank God I listened because it would have killed me and my two kids!!🙏🏽🙏🏽
These videos have made me a more cautious driver, especially around intersections.
In the UK a green light means proceed “if safe to do so”. Easier said than done if the guy next to you has to maintain his nose just enough in front to block your view.

Yeah, I’d say both but mainly cammer’s fault. Wrong lane for turning, and clearly not using mirrors. But the other car wasn’t really paying attention to what other cars are doing.
Yeah, the cammer shouldn't have been turning off to the right from the left lane and should've checked his mirrors and done a head turn. The other car did look like he was going too fast for the inner city conditions as well.

I was in my first car accident on the first. We were in a rental van in Arizona and the lady behind us at an intersection had never driven her van before so her foot slipped of the brake and she just rolled into us.
Everyone was fine, including the family dog. I can’t imagine what it’s like to roll your car though.
Although I think that pretty much set the tone for the rest of the year.

Rideshare in Atlanta is just as bad, blocking multiple lanes outside of hotels and popular club areas for 5, 10 minutes or more sitting there waiting for a pax who's taking their god damn time... Cabs get tickets for that, rideshare should too (but 3x the fine).
Hell, when I have to do a roadside service (flat/fuel/unlock/jump) on the street I at least try to park on the sidewalk or anywhere I can - OUT OF TRAFFIC. I'm never far away so if I have to move I can move... rideshare drivers never bother, even tho they're IN the fucking car.

@@wiredcoati I think that was a separated carpool lane, you can see a red car driving in it before the accident. The truck almost hit the white car in front of him which would have been his fault for not leaving enough space to stop in time. Then he pulls in front of another car without seeing if the lane was clear first. If you are switching lanes and hit the person already in the lane, you are at fault. He is 100% at fault for the whole thing, plus he fled.

PIT manoeuvre would never ever be performed at the very beginning of a chase - they need clearance to do so. Also, it has be done in a safe and controlled area...this was clearly not that. The last trailer rolled into its side.
