P253F Engine Oil Dilution Fault 1.6 DCI 2017 Nissan Trail P2002

Short video explaining how to clear P253F engine oil dilution fault code on 1.6 Dci . This Vehicle (2017 Nissan x trail) had p2002 p0564 & P253F fault codes stored. DPF soot content was too high so required a DPF Regen to fix the fault but the Oil dilution fault would not clear. Basically the service light needs to be reset before you can successfully clear the Oil dilution fault.

Didn't really explain the cause of the P253F... from the mumble I take it was the DPF blocked? WHY was the DPF blocked?

I can't believe you have let someone run off with the Topdon. I friend of mine had a Mazda diesel as a company car and the engine seized up at 35000 miles due to engine oil dilution. The dealer had not initiated the service system warning light, hence the engine seized. They did argue the odds for a while (which idiot would drive a car for 35000 without service) but they had not met my mate before. 😁😆. Engine was replaced under warranty.
