Adam you are a top man for posting this video. My 2015 BiTurbo had this fault at 20,000 miles and was fixed under warranty. Its happened again at 45,000 miles. My fault is exactly what you describe, and I have whipped off tge sensor, shoved a long piece of wire down the pipe and pulled out loads of black crud. I also pushed a bicycle brake cable down it aswell. I reconnected it all and went for a blast. Initially, the error was still there, but after a few miles it cleared. Doing videos like this is what helps others with similar problems, so well done. Cheers.

Great video. Thanks for putting it out. My blockage was further down the pipe. Beyond my skills to replace the pipe. Persevered with brake cable in a drill. Found that running drill at high speed cleared it. Took a while though. Pipe appears to be about 9-10” in length so that’s how far you need to be able to get a cable in.

Same problem with my 2016 Renault Trafic on 42000 miles. I had Check Injection System , Check Cruise Control, Check Anti Pollution System and code 0470, Exhaust Pressure Sensor A Circuit on my £14 Ebay code reader. I was a bit doubtful about this fix so went the cheapo route of buying an £11 Chinese copy of the sensor off Ebay. Surprise surprise! Code and warning messages all gone! Absolutely delighted. So, I tried a cheap sensor of Amazon (£25ish) and cleaned the pipe with a bike brake cable and rev the balls of it. Nothing really came out. Warning lights where intermittent for a month or so, then stayed on permanently.
Took it to a Renualt specialist back street garage who agreed after speaking to someone at main dealer that pipe and sensor needed replacing. But he didn’t want to do it as it was ‘a pig of a job’ to get to and remove the pipe.
In the end, I had to bite the bullet and take it to main stealer!

another good clue to our fault on our van. the check anti-pollution system failure and a check engine light. the car does go short runs often so it can also be a blocked dpf(atleast i think so, but hey im just a carpenter :D).

Just wanted to drop in and say thank you for your video, I stumbled across it while searching for the same fault codes. Removed sensor from my Trafic 3 which has only done 22000 miles and it looked exactly like yours! After ordering one off eBay and cleaning the pipes/changing sensor all fault codes cleared and everything back to normal, if anyone else has problems cleaning the pipe that goes down to the exhaust manifold I found an old bicycle brake cable was perfect, after clearing around 30mm of hard carbon with a drill bit I found it went soft and gooey and the brake cable removed to gooey stuff right down to the exhaust. Thanks again fella! Saved me more than a few bob! I owe you a pint 👍🍺

@@gavalarbellz5019 hi Gavalar, yes any crap will blow into the exhaust, there is still some pressure there but you should be able to blow at least some air into it, the carbon deposits do go very hard and take some clearing, just keep spinning a wire brake cable in there and removing it often to give it a clean, you’ll get there eventually 👍 since I did mine I’ve used 6in1 diesel additive with every fill and tried to avoid supermarket fuel, not had any problems since 👍

renault trafic 2.0 115 2012 i had the same problems, emission fault and eventually check injectors, it would cut out at 2500 rpm and struggle up even gentle inclines, i simply took it for a 10 mile run on dual carriageway, normal revs not revving the tits of it, and eventually it cleared, just lucky i guess.

For me to buy a sensor.
    Couldn't see it.
I have a Renault Trafic 2016 , with all the lockdowns and short journeys, it was suggested that the sensor fault was coming up.
Especially if I used supermarket diesel
Eventually getting a long run, 100miles.
    It cleared.
Just last week, I changed the pollen filter
The spanner and engine light came on with check filter, or injector's.
    Weird.
Removed new filter, and put back in thinking I had installed it incorrectly.
    Lights still on.
Look forwards to hearing from you.
