Such an adorable boy doll! You were definitely right about the kind-looking face. I think Zeke is actually a really cute name for this boy doll but Zach or Zander work too.

I LOVE that you were like, "A massive black friday approach would get more views but I have different priorities than view count." YES. Normalize that. Some of the videos I'm most proud of "perform" very poorly but the ppl who DO watch them appreciate them and that's my priority. And he is SO cute - I completely agree that he has such a *kind* face. Ours (Kingsley) got a slight haircut on the sides and I think it makes him look very dapper (though I was scared to do it lol). Congrats on adding him to your collection!
What about Isaiah for him? You'd get the Z sound in there without it being the actual letter.

Thank you! Kingsley is a huge reason I wanted this doll and I love his haircut! Yes, I always told myself that when I started a CZcams channel I would not serve the algorithm, I would serve my viewers and make videos that I actually enjoy doing. For example, I love making review videos because I’m the type to want to watch them before purchasing the items myself. I also wanted to make customizing dolls more accessible and create a peaceful space in a world of overstimulating content. I think that is something you’ve done so well with your channel and a reason I adore it so much.

He's really adorable! It's funny, I grew up with three sisters, no brothers, but I have one daughter and three sons. And though I love my boys dearly and have fully enjoyed their childhood and watching them grow, I've never had any interest in collecting boy dolls. I did thrift two OG boys, and I know if I found an AG boy at the thrift store I would get him. But to spend full price on one...I guess I would just really need to fall in love with him!

I think Zachary or Zach is sweeter than Zeke, but Zander would also be a great name for him.

This boy and 75 (the Jess Mold) are the only two boys I would consider getting. Seeing this handsome boy in videos really helped me warm up to him. Something about the stock photos drew me away. I definitely think my first boy will be 75 who I will name Glenn, after my favorite walking dead character.
The stock photos never seem to do them justice! I kind of wish I had gotten 75 too. He’s my second favorite and such a cutie

He is definitely a cutie. I don’t have any boy dolls and don’t really plan on it but I think he’d be my first pick. I do think it’s kind of weird that after making Logan with a Kaya mold they kind of doubled down and were like “boys have closed mouths!” Some of the cutest custom boy dolls I’ve seen were made from classic mold girl bases!

Cute!! I haven't really felt a need to get any of the boy dolls myself, I agree that I've always looked at it as American Girl and just enjoyed the girls, but I know as a kid I would've loved a boy doll for some of the stories I would act out with my dolls 😂
77 is lovely! I hope AG brings the face mold back and gives the boys some more outfit options. Also those little boxer briefs are taking me out 😂😂😂😂
Ah yes you’re so right, it would have been fun to have a boy doll for that reason! We do need some more outfit options. Now I’m kind of regretting not getting her that gamer outfit. And YES the boxer briefs.. my daughter saw those and said those look like daddy’s underwear 🤣

He's very cute! I think Zavier could be another cute Z name for him. I used to have a custom TM 26 boy, but for some reason just wasn't really drawn to the doll and wound up changing it back to a girl. 😂😂
Thank you! I do love the name Xavier and hadn't thought of spelling it Zavier. That's too funny - I see 26 as pretty feminine so I probably would have changed her back too!
TM #77 was my first AG boy doll that I purchased in Jan 2022. I tried to buy TM #75 and #76 in Dec. 2021 but they had sold out. They never got anymore in. When AG revamped the Truly Me line in Sept 22 I ordered #104 and #113 making my total 3 boy dolls. I was lucky enough to find TM #74 (the blonde) at Marshalls last year (for $80). It's a total shock that AG has these two dolls this year and because I already have #77 I ordered #75 before Black Friday still discounted because they had it early. I was afraid that he'd sell out early but he is still available. Now I have 5 of the 7 AG boy dolls. Aiming for a complete collection. Only need #76 (dark hair, cowlick) and Logan. Hoping they'll "find" some more #76 but don't think they'll re-release Logan. I'm looking for him used at a reasonable price. I also custom made 6 boys so far so I have a lot of boy dolls and a lot of boy outfits (homemade, Maplelea outfits, all available AG boy outfits, and some off brand t-shirts, plaid shirts and jeans. And a lot of boy shoes.). I also hate those plastic shoes the Truly Me dolls come in both the boy and girl versions. I'll never own all the TM, GOTY or Historicals but I may be able to own a complete line of the AG boy dolls (easier goal to reach - that's why I started to purchase them in the first place). Love them all.
I absolutely love this collection goal! I’ve seen Logan for around $100 on Mercari so I hope you’re able to get a good deal on him. I haven’t had good enough luck with finding dolls at Marshall’s or TJ Maxx but I’m so happy you did! The only collection I’m close to completing is the GOTY collection and I’m not sure I ever will.
I almost bought him for Black Friday sale! Instead I went with Makena and was going to name her Zuri?! Weird because I have never heard that name and then watched your video and it’s your doll! My next addition HAS to be an Addy mold because I only have number 11 from the 90s.
I agree he’s too cute to be a Zeek or Zander- maybe Zachary/Zach. He looks like a Sebastian/Bash
Makena was a great choice! I love the name Zuri for her because it means “beautiful” in Swahili. And thanks for the name suggestions! Sebastian is especially cute!

I wanted to get #77 when I saw him on the black Friday sale but decided to get Evette instead. Now seeing your doll I regret not getting him. I am also on the look out for all the Addy molds. I am going to check if AG online still has stock on this doll. He would be my first boy doll.
I think you still made a great choice with Evette, especially since I think she will sell out sooner than number 77.
Some other Z names: Zion! Zach, Zephyr, Zeno, Zain, Zahir? I like Zander, but of the ones I just listed, I like the way Zion sounds with Zuri.
Ahhh these are all so good! Zion and Zuri does sound great! I also really like Zain. I also thought of perhaps another Swahili name but there are so many good ones to choose from.
I enjoyed this video and hope you get some more masculine clothes for him. I was just going through my masculine clothing and things are out of control over here!! I just might do a series of videos on the personalities and clothing for my boy dolls. What do you think about that?

I just added truly me 77 to my doll collection and I name him Thomas James and I called tj for short I got him as birthday present

I’m a little frustrated because I bought this doll in the sale as well but he arrived with wonky eyebrows…American girl was able to send me a replacement for the same price….but he also has wonky eyebrows. I’m not sure they would send me another at that discounted price 😕
