This is such a good and helpful review!! I'm mostly shocked that she and Maritza are said to have the same skintone since the AG website classifies Maritza as having skintone 10 or light skin not 25 like this doll. This review was helpful in multiple ways!

This was such a thoughtful and thorough review of one of my favorite dolls. I loved seeing all of the different Marie Grace molds in the different light sources!
I truly fell in love with my 117 after I took off her lower lashes. I don’t notice the skin tone part of the lash stamp on mine now (I can’t remember if it was super noticeable on the bottom lashes) but I also have possibly never looked at her in direct sunlight. Inside it’s luckily not an issue for me. I do tend to prefer the silkier feeling wigs, but, I have a way easier time doing hairstyles like French braids in my 117 and 118’s hair because it’s not as slippery! Glad to see my girly 117 getting some love.
I can’t wait to take the eyelashes off of mine to fall even more in love with her. That’s a great point about the hair! It really is easier to do hairstyles with.
Great review! I love when you compare them to other dolls for skin tone, eye color, hair, etc. Looking forward to seeing her eye swapped with Nanea. :)

I wanted 117 until I saw how flat and boring her brown eyes are. They could be prettier. I love her pretty wig, though… I can see that another custom is in my future, your knowledge is amazing! TY!

I didn't even know that I needed this video until I watched it! I totally agree with you about the eyelashes! I'm going to watch your eyelash removal tutorial since I just purchased #122. She is still in the box, but once I remover her the eyelashes are coming off lol
Aww I am so glad this was helpful! The eyelashes are pretty bad.. I would guess they would be in 122 also since she has the medium skin tone. I'm sure she will look great without the lashes!
I’m so glad you made this video. I’ve had 117 on my list because she looks so pretty but I may remove her now. Hearing that her hair texture is the same as 118 is disappointing to me since that is a feature I really don’t like on that doll. She is one of my dolls that has a wig I like to touch the least. It feels kind of dry to me (almost like straw). I think I just prefer a silkier texture. I also like the wig texture of 112 or the curls on dolls like 67, 83, 85 etc. though. I have 122 and Maritza so I think the wig color with highlight pattern is very similar. I also have Kavi who I really like. Another thing that disappoints me is the shininess under the eyelashes. It looks like the shininess continues all around the eye so you’d have to remove the upper as well as the lower lashes it seems.

She is beautiful bit so is Kavi. I can't get them all so i usually choose the character dolls over the Truly Me. If i didn't already have and love Kavi, though, i would definitely be tempted.
I understand that and I usually do that too, especially if they are too close. For example, Corinne and 124.. I love 124’s coloring but got Corinne because she is a character doll and a GOTY. Plus, 124 will be around for a while longer than Corinne too.
@@EvelynRoseAG funny you mentioned those two. I did the opposite. I was holding off on Corinne because of her coloured hair. Now I got #124, and she is my Corinne. I even bought Corinne's meet outfit for her. 😂😂😂 We all get our ideas. And as long as we have all have fun and enjoy our girls.

It took me a while to warm up to the MG mold too, especially when MG first came out (I didn't think she looked like and AG doll!). Now it's one of my favorites. It's so endearing. I so agree about those eyelashes. It's weird! I like the way they look and mine, the flesh toned coloring spot isn't as noticeable but goodness it was hard to pick a good one in store when I did get my 122.
