Yep.. it’s super unfortunate!! Luckily there were interested buyers and I was able to sell them to people that wanted the dresses and not the dolls.
Wow!! Crazy how the old standard light skintone looks tanned next to Cindy. I do hope AG uses this tone outside of the princess line, but like you said it would be great for Elsa and Snow White. I agree that the stiff glittery dresses are a bummer. I think AG should've worked harder to provide a play-quality dress for the dolls that still reads as princessy and elegant. So excited to see your custom!!!
I also hope they use this skin tone for other dolls too because it’s closer to mine! ❤
You hit the nail on the head - these dresses should be PLAY quality for the play line. I wonder if Disney is particular about the fabric used?

I can’t help but love this doll, but now she’s even further backordered than before! So she might just have to be a Christmas doll. I can’t believe how tan Kira looks next to her 😂.
Oh yes, I saw that!! Those went on back order quickly. I wonder if the other princesses will be out in time for Christmas too?
So looking forward to seeing your mini me! :) I loved all of the comparisons. So interesting to see her next to Blaire and Kira. I had never seen the differences in her eye lashes. I love that they used the dark blue eyes on her too. They're such pretty eyes. I'm glad you were able to sell the dresses that you don't like. No use keeping dresses that irritate you. Thanks Beth! I’m so glad that she has the dark blue eyes too. I’m not the biggest fan of the current blue they are using. I miss dark and light blue!

I REALLY like the shorter, more subtle bottom lashes. I am not a fan of the yellow hair. And I'm cracking up at how she's over there making Blaire (freaking...Blaire!) look tan. I don't *hate* the eyebrows, but they definitely look a bit closer to My Life As brows. I'm much more excited to see her as your mini-me than I am about the actual doll lol. Thanks, as always, for a great video. Also, you mentioned feeling a bit burned out with all the hats you're wearing. I hope you're able to take the breaks and get the rest you need!
I agree- I actually don’t mind these lashes at all! I detest the spidery-lashes. And yes.. burnout is real right now but I’m trying not to let it stop me from feeling the joy. Luckily my husband is amazing and encourages me and enables me to rest as often as I can. I of course then feel guilty, as us women often do.
I have a CYO with the previous lightest tone that I further customized to look like me….but she is not as pale as I am! I’m definitely a classic mold though. Idk if I’d ever try to make another mini me. I put so much effort into to the one I have now. But I still want to get Cinderella because she’s so pretty!
My current mini me is a McKenna Brooks with Marie Grace eyes. I’ve always said she’s me with a tan (even though I can’t even tan)!

I used to be a Mary Kay Beauty consultant and matching the correct foundation to the skin tone was not easy! I can’t wait to see your new mini me creation. 😄
Oh goodness yes, it’s rare that I find a foundation that actually matches my skin tone! I’m not keen on using tanning products, either, so I’m pale all year round. I’m glad to see Cinderella with my skin tone and I can’t wait to see how she turns out!
Elsa and Cinderella single-handedly enabling my skin matches after all these yrs. No wonder I diehard with these Disney ladies.😂❤

Thank you for the review. I really don’t like shedding glitter. I don’t think I’ll be getting her. I’d absolutely love to see this skin tone on Snow White though! I’d grab her for sure. Can’t wait to see your custom! I’ve been too chicken to make mine. I might pay someone to eye swap for me 😅

Of course! Elizabeth would be the most similar to Kira out of the ones I compared. She would probably look fairly different as a result. I feel like they would look pretty different.
Thanks for the great review. I do live Cinderella, but the dolls wig is a bit of a disappointment to me. I haven’t seen any if the new Princess dolls in person, but I’ve not heard many good things about their meet outfits. I’m most interested in Tiana as she’s my favorite Princess (along with Mulan).
I think that any Merdia will need a very pale skin tone, so do hope they do release that Princess.
Oh I would absolutely LOVE to see Merida!! That tone would be perfect. I can imagine it with freckles now!

I sure am! She already has her eyes popped out, and her wig is on its way to the new owner. I’ve tried a few wigs on her and plan on eye swapping soon. I’m torn between what color to use for her eyes - mine are in between Caroline and Lea’s.
Grey eyes are probably a good compromise. I don't have grey eyes in my collection, but it's my favorite doll eye color lol. I love your photos and Cinderella! I hope to get her this May with 127. Can you style Cinderella's bangs easily? I really hope they make a Snow White based on the fairy tale with a skin tone even lighter than Cinderella's and braided black hair! Sorry, but I don't like Cinderella at all. I don't like her pink lips or eyebrows, Her wig is too yellow and I hate the bangs, It looks like they ran out of hair on the one side. I wish the bangs went all across her forehead..
Her wig is absolutely too yellow.. I don’t quite get why they used that color. I don’t like her hair down either which is another part of why I didn’t bother. I can’t wait to turn her into a custom!
