Ok I completely changed my mind on this birthday dress with the boots. I spoke too soon! Once I saw truly me doll 117 on the front of the catalog I ended up getting the outfit and I did the exact hairstyle in my 117 doll and she looks exactly like the one in front of the featured catalog with this birthday outfit. I love the pink on it so I quickly changed my mind. Even the boots that I thought I did not like I now love the whole outfit. Great outfit great quality. Absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for the great review! The upside down ice cream cone looks so cute on top of the cake and the "frosting" running over the sides really does look like melted ice cream with the cone up there. Very cute!
Thanks for this video! I’m not a big fan of the dress just too much pink for me as an adult collector I like more muted colors. I agree with you, metal is preferred over plastic. The plates are really adorable. Overall, I think the cake and accessories is a really cute set for a kid.
I was super surprised by the price of this set. I think it needed to include drinks and napkins to feel more complete. It also would have been nice to have a second frosting color for the topper and band to have more customizing options. The plates are definitely a win! I need a set of four of those!
You are right, they should have included drinks! I think they want people to use it with the new kitchen set and it comes with pink lemonade, but we shouldn’t have to buy the kitchen set to get drinks for this one.

I was at the AG event yesterday at the LA store and I did see this birthday set and the Bitty baby one too. They are cute but definitely not for me. I do like the last year one better. I don’t like the boots at all with this dress. The Bitty Baby one is actually cutter. But I passed on them. The little birthday items are super adorable. I don’t purchase those because I have no where to put them, but definitely super cute. Thank you for sharing your awesome video. Always great to watch. ❤
It always annoys me a bit that there are only two slices of cake (or any other food) available to serve. I have 7 dolls. I want them all to have a slice of whatever they're eating 😂
I hear you! They could have easily made this cake out of 8 slices since they made the top and the bottom frosting pieces that hols the whole thing together.
