Today I want to cover the best and worst foods for arthritis. This includes rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and other “-itises.”
    Foods to avoid for arthritis:
    • Fruits
    • Nuts (except walnuts)
    • Beans
    • Whole grains
    • Sugar
    • Refined grains
    • Trans fats
    • Hydrogenated foods
    • Seed oils
    • Canned foods (except sardines or cod liver)
    • Powdered protein
    • High-oxalate foods
It’s typically recommended to avoid eggs, red meat, and dairy if you have arthritis.
However, it’s important to understand that grain-fed animals have a very different omega-6 to omega-3 ratio than organic grass-fed, pasture-raised, or wild-caught fish and animals.
Organic grass-fed whole milk kefir or organic grass-fed raw milk cheese may also be better choices than typical dairy products.
    The best foods for arthritis:
    • Wild-caught fatty fish
    • Seafood
    • Pasture-raised organic eggs
    • Fermented vegetables (especially cabbage)
It’s also important to add intermittent fasting to your diet plan. It’s not just about what you eat but the frequency you eat that’s important in getting rid of arthritis.

The reality is, what works for one does not work for another! YOU have to figure out what foods makes your condition(s) worse!
Listen to your body when you eat, do you get bloated, does your pain gets worse, do you feel latargic etc.
Eliminate what your body doesn't like and see how that works for you!
    EVERYBODY IS DIFFERENT!
    Different bloodtypes
    Different body types
    Different medical conditions
    Different allergies etc.
I have done so much research that I became majorly confused, so I just started this process, writing down everything I eat and how did my body react. I believe this is the best way to figure out YOUR body!

I ate a Mediterranean style diet for 15 years at which point osteoarthritis exploded in my left hip & knee. I suffered for 5 years thinking there was no solution then out of pure desperation I tried a low carb/Keto way of eating and like magic, I lost the 30 excess pounds I was carrying and 75% of my arthritis pain resolved in 3 months. I went from not able to walk 9 holes of golf to 10 hour hikes in the mountains with 1000+m of elevation. It took 2 years to get to 95% resolution of my symptoms and at 61 I'm looking forward to the rest of my life instead of dreading it. Thank you Dr. Berg and many others!

He's RIGHT, he's right, he's right. 4 days fasting OR carnivore and almost ALL my inflammation is gone. I can walk, steps and even climb a ladder which is a daunting task while inflammation is in my body. I'm nearly back to riding again now that I know I'm not permanently broken. More fasting, carnivore while not fasting and I've almost gotten my real life back. It's way too bad that I had to be nearly 60 to learn how to eat. My whole life, my body screamed for this relief. But NO... I had to listen to the professionals. Small meals, frequently, food pyramid yada yada yada. My body knew since I was a child it wanted farm fats and meat. I wasted my life not listening to my body.

Some people with extreme arthritis do miraculously well on a carnivore diet. It's similar to water fasting in that all the usual arthritis-aggravating foods are eliminated. However, on the carnivore diet you can thrive. Humans evolved over millions of years on a mostly meat-based diet. Agriculture is a very new concept for humans. Chicken is very high in the amino acid Taurine which has been shown in recent research to have longevity benefits.

Also niacinamide supplement.... one of my parents had a hip replacement and the other had a knee replacement.... not long into my 40’s I started having hip pain every time I ran or if I slept on my side.... I was limping for days after runs... I read a Suzanne sommers book where she interviewed various doctors about natural solutions to common issues... one of the doctors recommended niacinamide supplementation for knee or hip pain due to arthritis and said it would take probably 4 months to work... I didn’t want surgery but wanted to run without pain so figured what could it hurt.... it literally took 4 months of supplementing niacinamide until my hip pain went away... I was able to resume running and side sleeping without hip pain.... In the years since this discovery I have noticed hip pain comes back if I stop taking it.... I consider myself a bio hacker with supplements and after high dosage d3 I consider niacinamide my #2 supplement

Took You Advice on Turmeric, have been drinking a big mug of turmeric and ginger tea, industrial strength, every morning for one month now, have noticed two amazing things; 1. a lump alongside my left tricep was approx 1.4 inches long and .5 inches thick, tubular, and now it shrunk, very quickly to .6 inches long and .25 inches thick, don't know what is is really, but it is shrinking quickly. 2. this sounds insane but, when I go out on the deck and now mosquito season the bites were always nasty swollen and itchy, but now the mosquitos barely bite and the bites fade within hours not really itchy. so unsure this could be attributable to turmeric and ginger or maybe I m off menu now. So THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR EXPERTISE AND HARD WORK, YOU ARE SINCERELY APPRECIATED !!!

Two years ago I had a blood test done to find out my vitamin deficiencies, if any. I was low in vitamin D3 and also blood test showed I had Rheumatoid Arthritis with a marker of 34 (normal 14). I was supposed to see the Reumathologist but never got to it, didn't want to start taking prescription meds. I upped my Vitamin D3 to 4000 UI at least 4 days a week and consume very little dairy (this was a challenge).
Had a blood test done about a month ago and to my doctors surprise my markers were 20, 14 less than2 years ago. This is a big deal since I am 59 years young. I also had parathyroid problems causing me to having hight levels of calcium in my blood. This problem also cleared as well as a suspicious mass that was believe it was thyroid cancer. I had the thyroid problem about the same time my high levels of calcium in my blood were discovered. At the time I had one of my parathyroids removed and half of my thyroid removed, were I had cancer.
Although thee Cardiologist or Endocrinologist won't admit that taking high doses of vitamin D3 help I believe it had a lot to do with it. I as well added K2, full spectrum.
You need to do your own research and ask questions, lots of questions.

Sharing Dr Berg notes on this video!
    Foods to avoid for arthritis:
    • Fruits
    • Nuts (except walnuts)
    • Beans
    • Whole grains
    • Sugar
    • Refined grains
    • Trans fats
    • Hydrogenated foods
    • Seed oils
    • Canned foods (except sardines or cod liver)
    • Powdered protein
    • High-oxalate foods
It’s typically recommended to avoid eggs, red meat, and dairy if you have arthritis.
However, it’s important to understand that grain-fed animals have a very different omega-6 to omega-3 ratio than organic grass-fed, pasture-raised, or wild-caught fish and animals.
Organic grass-fed whole milk kefir or organic grass-fed raw milk cheese may also be better choices than typical dairy products.
    The best foods for arthritis:
    • Wild-caught fatty fish
    • Seafood
    • Pasture-raised organic eggs
    • Fermented vegetables (especially cabbage)
It’s also important to add intermittent fasting to your diet plan. It’s not just about what you eat but the frequency you eat that’s important in getting rid of arthritis.
    Thank you Dr Berg!

I've been on skimmed milk for over over 20 years and started with lactose free skimmed milk around 10 years ago. I'm living by myself for a change and more in control of what I eat. My family are form Sri Lanka so spices like Cinnamon, Ginger, Turmeric etc are staples but I've been adding them to food much more frequently than before. My knee has been relatively ok. It still bothers me but no where near as bad as before. I have other previous health issues that have flared up but my knee is behaving. My digestive issues have really calmed down too. I've been doing the tips in the video for 4 months anyway and can confirm (at least for me) that they are effective.
