We'll discuss the camera setup of each phone, if the new Super Res Zoom feature really makes a difference, compare screen quality of the Pixel 7 against the Pixel 7 Pro, and the build quality of each device.

I just bought the P7P directly from Google and was able to get it for $600, because of a Black Friday sale and because I switched my carrier from T-Mobile to Google Fi. I did opt for the memory upgrade to 256 Gb, for an extra $100.

I'm just having problems deciding if It's worth upgrading to the pro because of the screen. I still have my Note 10 plus and my Note 10 plus has a pretty good screen on it. Screen quality was 100% why I went with the P7P. I had both the P6 and P6P and the difference was super noticeable. Not just color shift but overall quality, such as image uniformity. I love the flat display and smaller size, but I consider stuff like that to be a defect and it drives me crazy.
If you don't tend to notice that sort of stuff, then yeah, save some money and go with the non-pro. The other benefits are going to be super hard to justify unless you really feel it's worth the extra cost to you.

The Google pixel 7 last for more than 7 hours, with heavy use.
And if you are not using it much, just checking quick notification and answering calls. It will last you into the next day.
The brilliant thing also about the battery is that, even when I have 20 percent battery at night, it still remains at 17 percent into next morning.
And you can save yourself slow charge by buying a charger that is minimum of 35watts. Meaning you can easily charge the phone to 100 percent in less than an hour.

A benefit of going for the Google pixel 7 pro instead of pixel 7 will be the resale value in the future.
Pixel 7 in 2 years or even next year once pixel 8 comes out will be selling for 200-250 maximum. While pixel 7 pro will sell for 400
To be fair both phones will depreciate rapidly.
Hence maybe iphones are much better at retaining value.
