No way to justify the existence of Sportsters when they’re producing this. What fun!
Sportster is still lighter, cheaper, and easier to handle for smaller or beginner riders. Or someone who just doesn't want to spend 15k on a stripped down motorcycle, when you could spend 10k or less on a bobber style bike.

This is literally 50% more expensive than a Sportster.

My brother was the first person in the family to buy a Harley, a Dyna street bob that will now forever be in our family for getting us hooked. My dad has a 2002 vrod and I have a 2020 road glide. My father and I both came from a handful of sports bikes and the street bob had us hooked upon eyes then upon feel after the first ride. I don’t care about any other softail now because of this bike and now that she has a 114 I want one so bad. Next year I’m hoping to find a used one with a stage one cause after buying my bike new I don’t want to take that value hit again 😂 my road glide was the first new vehicle I have ever bought.

I purchased the 2020 Streetbob. Such a great addition to HD with the M8 engine. Colour schemes sell any bike. Not everyone like flashy colours, but they are an eye catcher and sell in my opinion. More colour choices would be nice to see on future rides. I would like to see a 200 rear tire on future Softail Streetbob. Cheers.
Sweet bike. Mines going in for its 1k Saturday 👍 power on this thing is insane.... for the small gas tank i still get 150-160 miles till empty. Smiles per gallon 👍

Love the colour! Harley should have created a 114 'Flat Tracker' styled model for 2021. That wouldn't have been hard to do. Oh well, maybe they can consider it for 2022, and while they're at it, they can put in a better oil pump in it too!
1250 custom exists... Just waiting for them to release it.
Are the Premium Seat Nuts standard with the 114" or available as an optional Seat Nut upgrade package? Do they come in chrome or just black?

Love the colors this year! However, I prefer the throttle response of My 2020 107 StreetBob. The 114 shines in 5-6th gears, but off the line, I'd get the jump on it!
That's definitely a nice color scheme (just wish it was still a Dyna r.i.p.)
Love the new paint but I can't part with my dyna street bob after spending 5k for the 110 tire shredder kit (106hp/122tq), especially here in Wisconsin where our bikes sit in the garage for 6 months....sigh

HD have increased the price of the Street Bob by nearly £2000 in the UK, such a shame as I was waiting for the 2021 model to be released and now it’s just out of my reach but I love everything about the new FXBBS..... Anyways hi from the UK
Yea I noticed it went up a lot more in the UK, Keeping my 107, The Standard is now the cheapest in UK as Sportsters and street gone.
I should have waited for the new one! Just bought the 2020.
Wow, awesome looking bike!
Best gritty bike Harley do and for some strange reason handles better than the Fat Bob and Lowrider s despite no inverted forks. Was shocked at the rumours they were gonna drop it, glad they weren't true. And the 114 was a great upgrade. Only thing I'd have liked would be dual disks and a back brake that actually worked... but then stopping is over rated I guess ;) Personally I rate the Street Bob and Road King as the best two models HD do at the moment, with the Fat Bob and Heritage running close behind.
Would love to hear the factory pipes sounds like on it. Don’t get much with your helmet on but other then that’s thanks I think I’m getting one here in Thailand and I think the charge around $335 for the color bikes here over the black

It makes sense to buy the cheapest model with the biggest engine, then buy aftermarket engine and cycle parts to boost the power ( S&S, Thudermax), suspension and brakes so that you have a bike that is how you want it AND the upgrades are cheaper. Engine upgrades won't be 'emissions friendly' like Harley ones are AND you get more power than Harley upgrades make - no expensive Harley labour charges for relatively unskilled fitters either !

You guys really need help with your photography in all locations.
I seen a tampa harley sponsored add and all the bikes looked photo-shopped. The shadows don't line up. You can tell some of the pics where taken in different locations from inside to outside but then the cut out and put on your standard backround.
So if I let you keep the passenger pegs and pad, do I get a $400 discount?
Sure but you have to put the smaller crank from the 107 in there too

@@timconway7860 there’s a difference between retail P&A and what actually gets added to the price of the bike. For the guy who wanted pegs and the passenger pad, that alone does basically make the cost difference null. For everyone else who doesn’t care, there’s the 114. And if you care about neither and just want a cheaper bike, get the standard.

But if we're being serious, I think the tank design alone would be worth the extra $400. It's my favorite design of all the non-CVO models. Adding the 114 blows it out of the park. How many people last year bought an FXLRS for over $3000 more just to get the 114 because they couldn't get it in a Street Bob? Probably a lot.

Unless you are under the impression that I thought bringing the crank, seat, and pegs would actually get you the 400 dollar discount. I figured that was insane enough to be clearly sarcasm. What dealer would want a 114 crank for no reason, and who would split their cases and convert a 114 into a 107 to save 400 bucks? I knew you were making a funny so I made one too.
I don't understand why Harley put a 114 in the smallest bike, put the 114 in all the bikes, that would be nice thats just me?
Is that single front disc enough for the 114?
For regular street use? Absolutely. If you were taking it to the track? Definitely not.

it's a beautiful bike, but it's outrageous that "ABS is an option" in 2021! It should have ABS, 3-4 riding modes, possibly corner ABS as factory default! and also double disc front brakes.
Want more bang for your buck ($2,700 to $3,200), run a good cam with a good performance exhaust and someone who knows how to Dyno. You can get really good performance running with Harley parts (air cleaner, cam, pro street tuner & exhaust) to keep 2 yr warranty and extended service plan. If you want stupid power ($7,500 to $9,000), bump it all the way with a 131 Stage 4 kit but it will be a lot of torque power on a light frame.

I don't get how they put the 114 and this bike comes without ABS as standard and with the same single disk brake at the front. For that price and with that engine ABS and dual disks should be standard.

I have to admit that I really like this bike but.! I'd get the black then do away with that small ass gas tank and upgrade it to a 5 gallon tank... Theirs a dude on here that did this to his and man it looks bad ass.! Oh.! And I'd definitely get rid of them ugly pipes and upgrade those to something else too lol...
Their getting closer to the perfect bike, dont like the tiny brake lights on the back, the seat is uncomforable have to change it have to add a s& s. 475 cam to realy have some power and speed , tube tires are a big no no can not plug them like a tubless tire and keep

@@gobira26 this is true but stops are more effective with ABS verse a standard braking system. Your less likley to skid. You learn that in motorcycle saftey training course. It should be mandated to put abs on bikes to save lives

Looks nice but is still 1930s tech. Passed lots of these HD built road hazards on my Triumph. Come on, a 114 and a peanut tank? Enough range to be a bar poser bike and thats about it. Suspension?? Not there. With the condition of a lot of roads, this is a Hemorrhoid special. Touring rider since "71.
