I love the tempo and the mix of the vocal with the choir and not just singing together but the support back and forth between Joakim and the Choir. One of Sabatons best songs. Althou its alot better in Swedish. All songs from Carolus Rex album is better in Swedish. You might wanna do a double reaction on that album. There is lyric videos on youtube in english for the Swedish version. Its often more in depth than the english version.

If you wait with reacting to any other song from the Carolus Rex album then I’ll later post what is imo the best way to react to the album in the historicity correct order. You started with the right song to do it like that so that’s nice.
Also would you be open to doing reactions to the Carolus Rex songs in both English and Swedish? They have done this album in both versions and the song are about the same things but they are sang from different perspectives so the songs are different I assure you.
I’ll link all of it later (very busy atm) just wondering if you wanna react to both Swedish and English versions for the rest of the songs related to the Carolus Rex album. There are channels that make videos with English lyrics for the Swedish versions so you know.

I agree with melkor the carolus Rex album is best if u listen to both the english version and the Swedish versions they have the same music but the lyrics is different because in Swedish it is more personal view but in english is more of general view of the 30 years war
Yeah I would also love to see you do both english and Swedish! While some songs its not a huge difference others are completely different perspectives!

This is the story of Swedish king Gustav Adolf (1594-1632), the Lion from the North or Gustav the Great, a name he got during the 30 years war (1618-1648), some consider it as the first world war.

JTMM I really wanna recommend using the non-official lyric videos for the Carolus Rex albums even if its against your usual operation. Specifically from the creator Duke of Txtspeak.
1) Because sadly they're much better paced in their lyrics than the Sabaton Official Vids
2) Because the songs that are in Swedish ALSO have the lyrics in English bellow them so you can follow along on how the swedish tracks change up the pov from the english tracks.
I really hope he sees this.

If you follow this order you will have experienced it the way sabaton has intended for people to experience it in the historical order. So please save this and follow it to the letter and not mix them. : )
Also for good videos majority of the Swedish versions don’t have sabaton videos with translation so I highly suggest checking out a channel called Piscator who uploads lyric translation of songs. I highly suggest reacting using his videos to react to when you need to find a Swedish version.

Yes Gustav II Adolf is the Lion from the North but please react to the swedish version as well, lyrics are different.
