So I'm Swedish and when you said Lejonet Från Norden I was actually kind of impressed. You just said it real quick xD (EDIT) funny how you said "when I was in Sweden people thought I come from texas" and I was sitting there just like, wait what, you're not from texas?!

LOL, Best part is I had a North Carolina Tarheels hat on. It was fun though. Seemed everywhere I went and talked to people I was given free stuff. Answering your question at the end of the video, Yes the Globe still exists and is still the biggest music related building. But the concert took place in a building called Hovet, its a building next to the globe still huge but mainly made for hockey games and that kind of stuff

Thank you. I recall going to a Mall by the Globe. The Hovet doesn't ring a bell, but if it was there in 99' I probably walked right by it. Love some HOCKEY! Unfortunately, it was Summer so no hockey while there.

This concert took place at Johannes Hov(court) usually called Hovet, it's a smaller venue just beside Globe Arena. I was there, and stood about 100 feet from the stage and could feel the heat from the flame throwers. Sabaton was wearing Carolean coats in a part of the concert when they played songs from the Carolus Rex album. There's a third venu in that area called Anexet, a bit smaller than Hovet, and a fourth venue called Tele 2 Arena . At last there's Friends Arena, a soccer stadium with sliding roof, which can recive 10 - 20 000 people.

Nice video guys. Here is a kicker for you. The last few times I have seen Sabaton live they have asked the USA crowd to vote for the Swedish version of "Swedish Pagans" or the English version and the Swedish version always won (by loudest crowd cheer)...it always seemed to crack the band up. And the audience participation (in Swedish) was awesome.

Ok, I hear ya, here's today's Swedish lesson. Lejonet is the definite form of Lejon - Lion. Good effort but no cookie, so think like this, J's in Swedish resembles Y in english (which is why most Swedes say Yump instead of Jump :-) ), so it would be close to Le-yon-et, with emphasis on "Le"...Le-yonet.
"Från" (from), the "å" think the o-sound as in "door".
Finally, most songs by Backstreet Boys were written and produced by Swedes, so there. American Boys, but the music is as Swedish as it gets. ;-)

Positive Crunch Backstreet Boys was pretty much a product coming out of the Swedish Cheiron Studios with the late Denniz Pop and Max Martin at the helm, they wrote music for most of the top artists at the time, BSB, Britney Spears, Celine Dion, Westlife to name a few. They were pretty much dominating the charts back then and still is today (although not through Chevron), artists like Katy Perry, Pink, Avril Lavigne, Christina Aguilera, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande...Sweden is per capita the biggest exporter of pop (and heavy metal) music in the world, it's quite a phenomena actually.
