Muchas gracias por divulgar y mantener las tradiciones y la historia de la pesca con mosca ahogada de vuestro país. Aquí en España somos muy pocos los que seguimos pescando con mosca ahogada al estilo tradicional con sedal pesado. Mayoritariamente y tradicionalmente utilizamos en su confección pluma de gallo español de León. Yo hace años que también utilizo vuestros métodos clásicos de montaje con plumas de perdiz o bécada, obteniendo el mismo éxito en ambos estilos de montaje.

Love the history. Not sure how I feel about the "cheat" with the herl but it looks fantastic. Does it hold up to the trout?

very nice tie when i put peacock at the eye i leave the tip hanging over the eye then break it off once i have a couple of thread turns in place it saves cutting it
