Took me 3 years before I gave up and bought my Peak. I'll never tie on anything less. But I do not tie a lot of small flys. Most of mine are size 6 or jig heads.
@@springerspanielful I like it, not cheap but not that expensive if you spend an hour or 2 a day on it like I often do. After 3 years it remains smooth, does exactly what I need it to do. Easy to adjust between different size hooks, etc.
Wishing you many happy hours at that vise George. Like a well made rod or reel, the satisfaction outweighs the cost. Will be tying that fly on my Stonfo Elite 2 vise, also a joy to use.
