  • Fly Tying. Jim Wynn's Yellow Coot Spider. A long forgotten North Country Spider dressing from Jim Wynn's fly book. Jim Wynn was the Bradford Waltonians River-Keeper on the Farfleld Hall stretch of the
River Wharfe. An excellent flydresser and angler he intimately knew the river between the village of Addingham and Bolton Abbey. #flytying #flyfishing #troutfishing

A wonderful tye. I like how you aren’t shy with the hackle length. More like what the old plates looked like. Keep these coming you are on a roll. 🎉

Hello Robert, I have watched all your videos and learned so much from them as a novice spider fisherman and while you have told us what flies and leaders you use could I ask what line you use for tippet as using my dry fly stroft 4lb results in endless tangles, thanks.

I use bayer perlon for all my leaders and tippet.
