this is a topic that causes me so much anxiety lately. however, i reached a 100 subs on yt recently so trying to focus on growing a small positive community around my art first. can't let the negatives get you down when you're trying to stay in this for the long haul. so yeah, thanks for sharing your experience and thoughts on it. ☺

I'm not a professional artist, actually my profession can't be further away from art (IT network engineer for someone who might wonder) but I paint and draw in the days my mind and body are not turned into mush from work and daily chores. I am glad you have the support of your parents, especially being a single mom, and you seem like a very talented but most importantly level-headed person, so financial success WILL come. Your video is interesting to me because I am so tired of IT and I would like to start working slowly to try and make a small living out of art. Thank you and good luck.

will my art career pay off? who knows, and I know I am a lot more privileged than some people (cheap rent, free college/university [until i get a job paying a certain amount]) but i never take it for granted. if all i do is create art that brings a smile to someone's face i am fine with that😀 (paying off the credit card wold be nice the lol)
