Hi Frederik, Thank you so much for your comment and compliment, it is truly appreciated.
If I can give you one piece of advice if you try this and that is to make sure you have some sort of cover around the platter before you apply the paint and turn the lathe on otherwise your walls and ceiling in the workshop will be multi coloured.
I see you don't have any videos on YT but I would love to see the results of your work.

@@WoodenItBeNice I most certainly will let you know how I got on... It's intriguing wondering what will sell. I've got stuff from when I started that when I look at it now I realise isn't the greatest so have priced accordingly. But I've got a little vase where I used the Jo Sonja paints and the clingfilm dabbing method that I'm very pleased with.. As for PM's.. will need to work out where to put them... Looking forward to letting you know how things go.. Stay safe... John

Hey Huw, What a beautiful "bowl"! ;) I was wondering and glad you touched on it not being a funnel (thin but no funnel). I still have not made one of these iridescent bowls. Have to put that on my to do list! Enjoy your time off and we'll see you on the other side. Cheers Jay
