  • In this video I turn a Vase from Thuja (not sure of English name) and make three attempts to colour the outside with Iridescent Acrylic paint. The video shows mainly the third attempt. I use air gun to blow the paint around the curved surface of the Vase.

Mr. Arason, another beautiful piece. It looks like Japanese ceramic. I've seen this technique done on canvas by blowing through a straw but never thought to apply it to a turned piece. A great idea!

Thanks. As so often is the case, there is nothing new under the sun. I can not clame this as my idea. I saw this methode in someboddys video. But thanks anyway for watching and commenting. Appreciated.

Stunning artwork Sigurdur, a few attempts to get what you wanted and that is all good. The shape is so eye pleasing and the final result is awesome, I must try this.
    Keep on turning.
    Cheers, Bluey 👍

A very beautiful piece, I think that if there is a little wood in sight, it would give it another look.
