    'Turned out nice', again, Wayne. I'm playing catch-up with your videos.
    Your play on the 'cosmic cloud' theme is a winner with your choice of shape allowing a big enough canvas to really show off the variety of iridescent paint colours without looking garish. Quite a stunning and outstanding piece.
    Thanks for posting and sharing.
    Regards and best wishes till your next adventure Wayne.
    Tony.

    I find that it's a fine line between the white drying into a colour or just staying white, probably because I had it too thick.
    Thanks

    Beautiful work Wayne. How critical is the technique in achieving such a stunning piece? How important is the airbrush angle, it's proximity to the piece, and the direction of the airflow?

    • @WaynetheWoodturner
      @WaynetheWoodturner  Před 5 lety

      The air brush is only at about 40psi so you need to get fairly close. I alter the angle to give different effects and change the direction to push the paint where I want it to go. Hope that helps

    Wayne, How much flow medium do you use with the iridescence paints.

    Hi Wayne - I realize this turning is from last summer and I have watched several times. Question please - what air pressure are you running through the sprayer?
    Also - I am loving your live shows during this COVIG19 debacle.
    Please stay safe - and my best to you and your family.

    Beautiful job Wayne. Do the Jo Sonja colours come already thinned or do you thin them. Up until now I've been using the Daler Rowney interference paints which come in a tube.

    • @WaynetheWoodturner
      @WaynetheWoodturner  Před 5 lety +1

      Hi Tee, use a flow medium to thin them. It keeps the quality of the paint without thinning the colour, if that makes sense

    I appreciated the tutorial. I think the turning portion of the video would be better from a different angle where we could see what you're actually doing. Please enable autofocus as a good portion of this video was out of focus. Please edit out the bits were you are fumbling around with your remote control. Otherwise keep 'me coming.
