Moyes has won 4 games now in 20, spent 500m and left with a depleted bench of untested youth and out of favour players. There were Six Players who featured last night are well into their 30s and unlikely to feature much or at all next season. I want him gone before he does any more damage but feel for whoever has to try and recover this mess.
8th highest wage bill, 8th highest net spend over the last 5 years, 4th lowest wage-to-turnover ratio at a club where everything is done by committee and the chairman briefs the press against you.

@@Matt-ou7tu The last line was irony. I really despair of the people who act like this. Money talks, bullshit walks. 8th highest almost always leads to 8th best. Moyes has got something out of any number of players who were finished and that's why the squad is so old. He walked into a mess, adopted a mend-and-make-do mentality and did his best. His best the first trophy in my lifetime and a second-best points haul. He's been good for the club and I would like people to just allow him to leave - because I'm certain this is the end - with a bit of dignity.

West Ham has great attacking players. But Moyes plays not to lose. With guys like Bowen, PaquetĂĄ, Ward-Prowse, Kudus and Antonio you have to attack.
They defo attacked in the first half and could have been 2 or 3 up against the top team in Germany but Leverkusen changed tactics to null the attacks in the second half.....

Ungrateful? David moyes was done as a manager twice, yet west ham gave him a job twice! David moyes hasn't won anything of note in 60 years bar the conference league, west ham have won multiple high level trophies in that time. David was given more money than he has ever been able to spend in his entire career, yet has one of if not the smallest oldest squads in the league. Everyone wants to talk about the trophy, what about the 35 game relegation battle last season?

Imagine if Moyes knew how to use Scamacca, West Ham would have him, Paqueta, Bowen & Kudus... those are highly technical players that most top 6 EPL teams don't have. It could have been easily a top 4 attack but Moyes threw Scamacca in the bin & relies on Antonio.

It was applause in spite of Moyes throwing away the tie in the first leg and in January when he messed up the squad. Can't wait for Moyes to go.
For 80mins in the 1st leg, despite Moyesâs tactics, WH were in it and I wouldnât put BL the super team class.
Last night for 45mins, WH rattled them, it was really in the last 20mins looked comfortable.
So if WH 1st selection, method of playing and weak bench were as youâd expect, WH could have easily won the tie.
They didnât because of Moyes methods, decision and inability to build a 17 man squad despite 3 years given to do so.
Iâve not been Moyes out for the sake of it, this has been 18 months in the making and of his own doing

They appreciated the players effort! Not moyes, most fans were all thinking about how moyes messed up the first leg by bottling it and not using the tactics of the second leg.
Let's be honest, Leverkusen had been out drinking & partying because they won the league. Obviously not at their best & West Ham failed to take advantage of that.
I was there and it was for the team who played their hearts out, but were absolutely exhausted at the end thanks to the lack of depth in the squad. This is the type of play fans have been asking for and should have happened in the first leg. Iâve no clue how Moyes canât admit that he got it wrong in Germany?

We all appreciate moyes he's been brilliant but unfortunately it feels like he's run he's course. He's had 4/5 years to build a squad that competes and he's done brilliant to build a good first 11 but our bench is championship level, all of our youth prospects leave for nothing.
The football is far to defensive. We showed yesterday that we are a much more dangerous team playing like we did so it's so frustrating as a fan when we don't play like that more often.

I think If Moyes does leave he should still be respected and given some dignity from the fan base for what he has achieved. Sure itâs been negative at times but it shouldnât be good riddence either. The Summer Transfer Window, when David Moyes was in charge of the Transfers, who did he buy and where are they now? Paqueta the only player David Moyes bought in that Transfer Window.
