2024 Freedom to Serve Campaign Announcement

Brig. Gen. Jeff Watkins, director of the joint staff for the Ohio National Guard, presents a message to introduce the OHNG's 2024 Freedom to Serve campaign. In the next three months, the Freedom to Serve campaign will tell the story of four of Ohio’s Medal of Honor recipients with significant ties to the state and the OHNG through the 127th Ohio Volunteer Infantry that eventually became the 5th United States Colored Troops.
