I bought those all 5 volumes yesterday
I saw a set of Garfield DVDs and it was the only one left so i bought it. All 5 were packed together
My birthday my mother goes get me Garfield and friends volume 1 2 3 4 and 5 and Garfield specials
Unless this episode/special is on the volumes 1-5 set, "Happy Birthday, Garfield" is the only episode not on DvD

I was suprised when i see that this was released by 20th century fox.
That’s probably because of the success of the first live action Garfield movie which Fox themselves made. These DVDs came out during the time when the live action Garfield movies were new.
I officially have all 5 of those same exact DVD volumes of Garfield and Friends. I ordered the Garfield Cat Tales DVD Box set Collection. I should be getting it this upcoming Tuesday in the mail.

@@d-man8570 once you do, make sure that the collection doesn’t omit the Thanksgiving Special. The DVD went through changes over the years. They started by removing the Thanksgiving Special and remove the pilgrimage hat that Odie was wearing on the cover, and then they rereleased it again only this time they replaced the Jack O Lantern that Garfield comes out of with gift box. The only special they didn’t add was the Thanksgiving Special, and replaced it with Garfield in the Rough I believe.

Im excited for the new animated Garfield movie
9 Story just recently restored & remastered the entire series in 4K!
Fingers crossed we'll see a Blu-Ray or 4K UltraHD complete series set with the original title cards AND the original intro for Season 7!
Don’t bother with that release. All they did was crop the original 4:3 picture to 16:9, thus remove details from the top and bottom of the screen. They also completely replaced the seasons 1-3 intro with a cheaply made flash recreation czcams.com/video/nlKgRcV7YaU/video.html. Stick with the old DVDs, if you can still find a copy that’s not a bootleg that is.

I watched Garfield and Friends on Netflix but there are 2 seasons but when I get Garfield and Friends Volume 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 on DVD I'm going to watch all the episodes. And I have a question to ask. Is this the complete series?

Do they have good restoration? I watched some episodes on Netflix and they had horrible restoration and mono sound. I was just curious if the dvd's had better restoration so if they're worth buying them.
of course they have mono sound. that is why the show was originally produced with. It did have stereo '90-'94. But that's CBS Stereo Sound so they probably don't have rights to that.
The first two seasons were presented in Mono, while the remaining seasons were in Stereo. For some reason, Volume Three is the only volume with Stereo audio, the other 4 volumes are in Mono.
You should get them on blu ray dude

Marty Mcfly it’s fine but I prefer Garfield and friends because it I found the humor in Garfield and friends to be more funny
My problem with the Garfield show is that it tries to be both cartoony and grounded (yes I am aware that rockos modern life is like this as well but at least rocko knows what it wants to be for the most part). Overall the Garfield show is mediocre but not terrible.
