My headcanon for the whole “afraid of water” thing is that Jason wasn’t sure if it was water or toxic sludge. He wasn’t afraid of water. He thought it was sludge, and he was afraid because of what happened last time (the whole turned into a child thing)
To this day I'm amazed at how good and creative the premise for this crossover is. Despite the execution being shoddy at best, I still find the idea of Freddy using Jason as a way to instill fear in people in order to escape his oniric-limpo existence and regain power, very unique. In only because it fits both characters and creates plenty of opportunity for development

I love how therapeutic yelling "Welcome to my world, bitch!" was for actress Monica Keena. Being scared of Freddy as a kid, that was her getting revenge against the character. It's kinda reminiscent of Kane Hodder punching the Julius Gaw dummy's head off in Jason takes Manhattan after getting punched a bunch of times.
Honestly I think she should've said "Welcome to YOUR nightmare, bitch!" I think that sounds cooler.

No matter how clunky and awkward this movie can be, it's still one of my cult favorites just because of the impact it had on me as a kid. I'm pretty sure this was my first slasher I watched with a group of friends when i was young, I remember we were all trying not to get scared or caught by their parents so we would constantly raise and put down the volume.Probbaly not good for my phyce looking back but it really carved it way into my heart

@@jasonking7570 Considering Pamela Voorhees started killing way before Freddy's prowl began (assuming the movies supposedly fit their release dates initially) and taking the idea that Jason was already around Camp Crystal Lake around then, adding the fact that Freddy spent around 14 years in limbo before returning as the dream demon, the big word is it COULD line up. But I'm with you, it's way too forced to suddenly make them this connected.
Not even mentioning the fact that I'm not that happy about the idea of the trend of Jason being the good guy here. He's not. They are both insane killers, except one is a mute, demented murder machine and the other is a sadistic psycho. I'm happy they presented Jason as clearly evil, even if the kids intend to use him in order to get rid of Freddy.
Not even gonna lie, this remains one of the best horror crossovers of all time.

Kinda funny how this is the 3rd time this movie has been covered, honestly it’s probably one of my favourite horror movies, period! This was the first horror I saw in theaters so it's nice to see it get special treatment elsewhere too
I loved this movie as well. Everything about it just clicked for me. I liked that they gave both of them their own space to be supernatural murders.

I was not expecting that off hand Gravity Falls reference in this kill count about Freddy and Jason
But the more that I think on it, the more I realize I kinda want to see what would happen in a Bill Cypher vs Freddie match, seeing as they're both demonic entities that use dreams as their main go-to when it comes to ruining peoples lives.
I would love to see an animated Freddie Kruger or a live action Bill Cypher - that would be pretty awesome for my horror loving, Gravity Falls obsessed self - especially as Freddie actually makes a sorta cameo in Stanford Pines' Journal 3 - on page 53, called a Category 9 ghost and marked as a Dream Hipster, and he might be on page 57, the page with all the shaded out creatures on the What Does It All Mean segment, though I may be getting confused with the plumbus and the fact that Dream Hipster showed up a couple pages before
And yes, I do have the actual journal
and yes, i did just go through it to make sure I got the page number correct
and seeing as there are no page numbers written, it did take me a while, But now I know it's page 53 and that random bit of knowledge will surely come up at some point in a completely unrelated Gravity Falls tangent that no one will listen to

@@juju22347 Cage's acting has always been good if he isn't overdoing it, but it's just a very particular style of acting he does. But where he plays more normal roles, he's quite good. Always has been. He's just known for insane stuff.

this is FACTS I've been her since 69k and I wanna say that it only gets better and better even his first video was amazing they started high quality and maintained it and I'm really glad to see this channel grow and get the recognition it deserves its been nothing but good content and as a horror fan I love the tid bits of history and information and just seeing how horror films are connected not to mention the incredible fan base (just below this comment I see an interesting fact) I hope this channel is going strong when I'm an old man
