    This is some real good shit here, and backs up my thoughts on intake tubes and heat saturation of some so called cold air intakes. I do believe the inlet and outlet of a stock box can be modified to achieve excellent results using the factory filter, at least on the 4.6 and 5.4 cone filter. Good real world data on what the average Joe like me can do at home with limited money. Note, if memory serves me right, lambda will stay rich under wot because the o2's are basically taken out of the equation.

    Idk why anyone would not want to use the gauges feature just for monitoring what things are doing when beating on the car. I get not constantly datalogging trying to make changes etc but the gauges feature is super neat and should def be taken advantage of from any ngauge owner. Hard to mintor the gauges from inside the glove box which is a waste imo of a great feature. I leave the Cobb accessport I have my fbo hybrid turbo e30 running fiesta st tuned with hooked up in the car so I can use the gauges feature it has. I've actually found issues before monitoring the gauges i wouldn't have found without them. My wideband 02 sensor went bad and afr was frozen in place on the gauges not moving or fluctuating so I knew I had a problem with the 02 sensor and there was no check engine lights or any other problems. Replaced it and its been perfect since. I noticed by boost was a little less than usual once and I found my charge pipe was lose causing a small boost leak and was able to fix it before the bitch popped off. Things like this I couldn't have done without the gauges being on display. A 4 to 6 gauge setup with old school gauges is gonna cost a decent amount of cash. No reason not to utilize the gauges with the ngauge if you have one that is one of the perks of the ngauge imo. I know some other tuners have this too im just sayin

    What would be an interesting test is to see how the f150 performs on the street with a draggy while on a dedicated E85 tune, and then perform the same test with a dedicated race fuel tune like ms109 or c16.

    IMO,,the dedicated E85 tune is not worth the 3hp. I've been running the Lund flextune on my 2016 gt350 for 4yrs & approx 45k miles with zero issues!! Usually on straight e85 but good to know i can always put 93 if need be.

    • @midnight347
      @midnight347 Před 3 lety

      Its not just the peak gain the power under the curve is better and it feels snappier on the hit. Its not like changing the tune is hard. If you run e85 all the time no need to not run the dedicated tune for it imo. Just my .02
