How Good Was Terrell Owens Actually? - Sport
He played football 7 weeks after breaking his leg? Totally forgot that. Dude was a beast.
Anyone who’s ever broken a leg/foot knows how fucking beastly this actually is. Walking normally a month later is a fucking miracle itself ..
That’s new information and crazy as shit. And people say he was a prima Donna
got screws put in his ankle breaking it just before the playoffs. Dude ended up coming back for the super bowl THAT YEAR and put up amazing numbers in the game. Never seen a comeback so fast with that much success. He was a physical freak.
@@gabrielbanna6725 Yep just ask Jack Youngblood
Yep. I remember thinking he would be a non factor in that game but nope. He still played well.
It’s a shame his off the field behavior has distracted from his performance.
Should of been a 1st ballot hall of famer Good that's how good he is.

@IsraeliWarrior ok? Still one of the best wrs ever
@IsraeliWarrior ignorance
If he was ever anything but a complete cancer in the locker room he would’ve been. It’s a team game. To this day he doesn’t understand that. His response to waiting three years and not going to Canton out of spite said it all.
TO was 2nd all-time in receiving yards behind only the GOAT Jerry Rice. He was probably the best Run after Catch receiver I've ever seen. Throw him a WR screen or a Reverse and he's gonna take it all the way to the projects. TO also had the best TD celebrations of all-time, including the Pom-Poms and the Sharpie. Despite the claims that he was a bad teammate, he was unstoppable and consistently put his teams in contention. This guy was box-office.
Well said
Indeed
Is he better than randy tho?
@@bradleynelson7156 to me .. yes. randy stated he plays when he wanted to play thats not someone im picking over t.o who played every down blocked takes crossing routes etc .. speed wise randy got him but aything else im taking t.o
Best celebrations? Wtf cares about that?
He crushed it everywhere he played! Nobody was shortchanged. TO the BEAST!
Eagles would disagree
@@gobot581 him and mcnabb with over rated. TO could catch but not make a play after that
Overrated!
What really bothered everyone about TO that didn’t love him when he played was that he had an extremely obnoxious quality, not the showboating or the “diva” thing, those are obnoxious too, but the most obnoxious by far is that he routinely backed up his trash talk with his on field performance, and most of the time, albeit annoying, *he was right*
Dude risked his whole career on that super bowl and popped off less than 2 months after two serious leg injuries, and called out mcnabb for getting tired before the job was finished. TO was objectively right
Even beyond his career… He could’ve caused permanent damage that would’ve affected his life forever.
Right I always say T.O. was one of the most non delusional players
Yea. I feel you, especially on McNabb. It's like he says what really should be said instead of walking on politically correct eggshells
@@alanlee67 You hit the proverbial nail right on the head! Snapple Fact #81 😂. They’re so quick to try finding and oftentimes even manufacturing reasons they could point to in order justify their hatred of him and make it appear to be objective claims based on logic. But that’s a lie… Theyre subjective claims based totally on emotion
He was objectively right, but you can be objectively right without being a self-aggrandizing asshole and he was not able to do that on any team he was ever a part of.
From 2000s to 2005 we had legit the best wide outs in the nfl ever. I wish I was playing fantasy back then. You legit had, TO, Randy moss, terry holt, Marvin Harrison, chad Johnson, Steve smith, Reggie Wayne, Hines ward. Even Donald driver was a f’ing beast. That era of wide outs is f’ing godlee!
Joe horn, muhshin Muhammad, Isaac Bruce… I still feel like there’s more. Insane era
That era was also stacked at RB, if you scooted down to like 98-03
Barry Sanders, Emmitt Smith, Tomlinson, Terrell Davis, Curtis Martin, Thurman Thomas, Edgerrin James, Bettis, and that’s just the hall of famers
Then there’s Shaun Alexander, Jamal Lewis, Priest Holmes, Garrison Hearst, Ricky Williams, Eddie George, Ahman Green, Corey Dillon, and more.
Even Jerry Rice was still beasting until 2003
this guy graced the cover of my all time fav football game nfl 2k5

I wanna see him play again even if it were one game so he could be the only HOFer to do that lol also hope someone signs both Frank gore and his son so they can be in the same backfield lol
TO was the man! I remember being a kid and doing whatever I had to in madden my career to get him 😂
Tried to emulate Muhammad Ali except he doesn't have the character it takes to be labaled the greatest.

i dont know why but im always reminded of terell owens as the allen iverosn of the nfl
he is - had so much potential but never won a superbowl/nba championship respectively.
Only difference is TO is maybe the greatest wide receiver of all time.
AI isn’t on the same level as TO
AI won MVP
@@stayofftheweeeeeeed7249 bullshit
I know he was a pain in the ass but the NFL just wouldn't be the same without these characters. Gotta love the entertainment.
If only Mcnabb didn’t go full Reid lol yes even when Andy Reid got a ring he’s nothing without Mahomes always choking even as defending champs this year is looking like the 2011 eagles with the chiefs with all the talent and then a self implosion - maybe the chiefs can turn it around
@@kaybevang536 wat was that were the second seed ur really fuckin stupid if u believed that
@Cass Taylor Criminal? Way to admit you're a racist. What laws did he break?
People never mention that every team he left had losing records after he left them too
TO was a beast. He would son any corner with his amazing abilities. Loved watching that guy.
The man came from nothing....and used his amazing talent to make money. Let the man celebrate.
What money? The guy lost it all.
1st ballot HOF should be... He was uncoverable at times... He truly was special out there it was amazing watching him on sundays in his prime especially
My 2nd favorite Wide Receiver of all-time never cheated u always played 100% didn't take no plays off was all-pro for 3 different teams played in the super bowl after breaking his leg. Best end zone celebrations 🍾 of all-time
The best catch I have ever seen was from Owens. He was on the Seahawks for a very short time, and he was running a vert route on the sideline. Ball was thrown to him short, but instead of trying to turn his whole body to catch the ball, he fell backwards onto his back to catch it. Absolutely amazing.
I guess you would have to see the highlight, I cant find it though.
Wish you could find the highlight. I'm a very big Terrell fan. He played for Seattle for 3 weeks then Pete Carroll cut him
When I lived in Miami T.O lived in my neighborhood and whenever I bumped into him either at the grocery store or the gym he was a gentleman.
Well I remember he caught 20 passes in a single damn game against my Bears. 20. That's uh.. thats pretty good.
There not your team at all stop being brainwashed it's just a game and there in a location where you live at
stop being a hater, let us have fun dude@@legendkillersshittyduffleb932
Great videos Nonstop sports
Looking back a lot of this "drama or antics" would be loved today, as well as understanding. As A Giants fan Philly front office and Mcnabb cost them multiple super bowls.
They never gave McNabb much to work with on offense.
@@kobeplayeddefensetoo1351 Derrick Westbrook on the back field and to a wideout and a stellar defense. Thats was a lot a that time
@@mrphenom1643 Man he didn't have a WR until TO got there. They had everything but some who could stretch the D before TO. You see what Andy Reid did once he left there right? He said forget the D give me a high-powered Offense! We can be avg at D.
I’ve always liked TO his humor and all of the things he did. kept the nfl entertaining
I idolized his workouts when I had down time in Iraq in 07 ,I literally put my body through the extreme even while going on missions during OIF
T.O was a beast 💪 👌 love watching him play especially them Niners days.... my favorite Receiver of all time...
He was great and he deserved a superbowl ring his drama got in the way
Not only his the w….e media cause black media understood T.o.
W…e people didnt
He literally didn't do anything wrong
Blame the Eagles front office for that. All they had to do was pay him his worth but they kept playing around.
Love ya miss ya t.o thanks for the 49ers era with rice 😎💪 and thanks for coming to Buffalo (my city) and showing out #81 legendary
I was a fan of the niners back then. And loved that Era.
Soon it'll be "How good was LeBron actually?"😄
If people focused strictly on his football accolades, he was a PROBLEM to deal with.. that 2007 year Owens v. Moss was a highlight. TO led the league in yards and Moss was leading in TDs. Great year
Hes one of the four wr on the alltime team period.
I loved watching him play as a kid. If he played for my team (Broncos) i would have loved him even more.
Make one of these on Fred Taylor. Arguably the most underrated player at any position
This!! I’m a diehard Cowboys fan and Fred Taylor is my all time favorite rb..
Aye nonstop sports I love y’all man, I’m da one dat told y’all 2 do “how good was T.O story” I’m ah youngbull from philly and always wanted 2 know “💯💯”
Seeing him put up 200+ yards on the Pats defense in a Superbowl; on a broken leg was legit one of the best performances ever.
Then he was doing push ups in his driveway lol
TO was always must see TV especially the Eagles and Cowboys years. He was a beast!
Hands down one of the best CZcamsrs
Top 3 all time.. he’s that good actually. Conversation over.
Favorite wideout
I remember being shocked when Dallas just randomly moved on from owens. Definitely one of my favorites to watch growing up him and romos chemistry was great
Same. I still don't get why Dallas let him go.
Top 3 that I have actually seen play and my favorite receiver ever! Dude was a real beast. Damn shame they didn’t let him in on the first ballot when he was top 3 in all stats
lets go new vid
"glue for hands".... lmao, that's an interesting way to describe the WR that has more drops than anyone in NFL history
It is absolute stupidity that he wasn't a first ballot HOF though.
True fuck the NFL big t.o. fan one of the reason in 2006 he declined too have finger surgery do he had good amount of drop balls in that season
I thought he was great, but you have a point. When he was with Dallas, he had to get every pass or he would go home and call 911 suicide line, and dropped half the passes. The team would lose, but TO would win for his record books. Parcells should have just gone cheaper. It was working for him at every other position.
@@BrisLS1 no he didn't if you realize what he was dealing with at that time he was acting accordingly plus if you read his books you would understand why he is the way he is also you probably say his name wrong like every single fan does except me lol
Favorite WR Ever…!!!
One of the best to ever do it
Slightly amusing. In Madden 10 or 11 can't remember which, I had a Jaguars franchise where he was my offensive coordinator.
To me he is the the greatest ever. I know Jerry is; but if I we’re picking a team; he’d be my number 1
He doesn't have the character it takes to be labaled the greatest.

I've been around bigger professional athletes, but I saw him at Eagles training camp. And he was just changing fields or something and jogged by. He just moved so easily. He was physically impressive.
Could've surpassed Rice if he took the game as serious...
1. Jerry Rice
2. Terrell Owens
3. Randy Moss
4. Michael Irvin
5. Calvin Johnson

Anquan Boldin And T.O 😏

Ima be in one of these vids in the future ☺️
How good was chad Johnson actually?
I don’t feel like you explained the TO and mcnabb situation the best because Donovan definitely shitted on him first and multiple times
They never do. They never give the FULL CONTEXT of the situations he went through.
And TO wasn't exactly wrong either... McNabb was absolutely GASSED at the end of that game. I remember watching it and being like "WTF is he doing?!?".
TO had a Super Bowl MVP level performance (if they had won) on a broken leg.
We love TO!!
My personal fav nfl player.
where did he get that T.O art in the thumbnail, nice👍
God bless you
Terrell Owens also played for the Seattle Seahawks after the Bengals for a bit.
GOAT of recievers
Terrell Owens was Magnificent!
He was an amazing player and showboat. He was a spectacle but actually backed it up with great play. I'm an old 49er fan and I take issue with how much of a problem he could be with every team he had been on. But there's no denying the man came to play and put on a show, along with the numbers.
Dey drafted JJ Stokes n T.O. came n and made him an afterthought n den made Rice expendable!! Now dats Dope
HOW GOOD WAS NIGHT TRAIN LANE NEXT PLEASE
Facts yo!
One of the greatest ever. NFL shuns him though because he’s not following that good ol boy agenda. Good for him.
3 second video he was goated…
Crazy how he from my city down the road😷😤😳
One of the best wide receivers of all time
Damn he caught multiple TDs vs err team dats Krazy
He caught a touchdown against every nfl team and did it 2 times over. No other receiver did it once.
How good was he. It would be a rare Sunday when he wasnt the best player on the field in his prime. If not every Sunday.
The best!
TO/ Moss will always be a kids favorite player if they grew up in the late 90’s early 2000’s
🔥
I had the choice between a McNabb or TO Jersey I got that TO Jersey idc what anyone says dude showed what he was made of playing in that Superbowl
He had it all…….dominated. Burn 4.2 Champ Bailey on 95 yard short pass.
do one for ed reed
TO is 3rd all time in receiving yards, and he has 700 yards more than Randy Moss.
That’s how good he was.
For sure top three or four receivers all time
Let's go T.o.!!!
For the first five years of his career, he lined up next to the GOAT and looked pretty damn amazing. In the GOAT's last game as a 49er, TO caught 20 passes. The HoF's pettiness and BS politics got exposed by how they treated Terrell Owens.
McNabb got tired?!?! I didn’t know that! What the heck McNabb! I remembered TO basically lived in an oxygen chamber to heal himself faster. 7 weeks of pure dedication to get healed! He’s one of the only athletes i know who talked as much as he worked hard, so i respect him for that.
TO is a top 3 Wr in history! He needs more respect
Interesting.
I’m not a fan of cocky and arrogant athletes but TO is no doubt one of the greatest receivers to ever play and deserves to be in the hall of fame
It looks like he’s playing against common in that first Chattanooga basketball photo lmao
Can yall do a jerry rice one next plz
@Badd Newz true
He's the epitome of, "You gotta be good, not nice."
Winners want and demand the ball... PERIOD!
TO is a baller, period.
I’m pretty sure that was Roy Williams that hit TO when he was on the cowboys star
My guy
Do you have your popcorn ready ?!
REALLY FAACKING GOOD
Game of thrones character Owen’s Tyrell
Where can i find the music in the background
Terrell could still be a great tight end today I think. He still be putting work in on young dudes lol
