T.O. dumping popcorn in his facemask is one of the most iconic visuals in WR history.
Yes it is
Before I click the video I was anticipating it hahaha. It was and still is iconic.
I’m sure his mouth rub some wrong but you can’t deny greatness. You can’t deny passion. You can’t deny is determination. . . Let’s just clear the air it’s TO
I remember watching that live! As a Cowboys fan, it’s one of my favorite memories.
Fact
Still can't believe he came back from a broken leg and had a performance like that in the Super Bowl
Witch King of Angmar right?! Over 100 yards too
It was still broken . And he was out running the Patriots d
Mcnabb and Andy Reid has to choke on T.O and the Eagles man that was the one of the best Philly team ever especially Brian Dawkins on defense
Kaybe Vang they were epic. And just like the Patriots got caught cheating taping the rams super bowl defense walk through practice I'm sure they cheated and spied on philly. That game had shit calls In favor of new England. And I already saw them as cheaters so as a cowboys fan you don't want philly to win but damn they were super bowl level for sure
If not for Reid’s clock management and McNabb’s lack of conditioning the Eagles might have won or at least forced OT. Owens was clearly the best player on the field, he and Brian Westbrook were the only eagles to play well
T.O. pulling out the sharpie from his sock to sign the ball after the TD is an all time legendary NFL moment.
Imagine that guy never sold the ball and kept it 😂😂
Wonder where that ball is now...
between him using a fans popcorn for a td celebration (trademarking a catchphrase), after doing a celebration in a 49ers uniform on the Dallas star, being the best player on the field in the super bowl while having a fractured leg, entertaining the leaching paparazi by trolling them with an interview while doing an impromptu workout, or lastly his epic post game interview... "that's my quarterback" HE'S A DAMN LEGEND LOL
Hell yeah. Joe horn had a good one, but to set it off with the celebrations
@@antionettewilson4250real shit
T.O. at 46 years old still runs a 4.45 in the 40 yard dash!
That is insane! Yet the NFL says he's "too old" to play?
Naaa, he's still got it.
Cmon son
He still plays technically, crazy he trying to get in the NFL again lol
He's the Allen Iverson of the NFL.... every thing they hated him for they'd love today.....in today's game he'd make $300 million easy lol
Mike Vick
@@highlight915
Same thing, Mike was the "rebel" that wasn't a rebel. "There's no point in explaining yourself to people who are committed to misunderstanding who you are as a person." -T.O.
LOL... Someone said the same thing on the Vick & Primetime videos.
The Go Getter uhh Vick would've still went to prison if it were today. He wasn't a rebel he was a piece of shit
@@Morrow45105 let me guess you think he’s a piece of shit because of the dog incident? That whole situation was out of his control. He didn’t host the event. One of his friends or whatever did. He was arrested because it was in his house. Regardless of that situation it was one bad mistake and he’s grown from it.
His run after catch ability was unlike anything I've seen from a receiver.
Ben Parkins He literally turned into a running back after the catch
Yeah. Umm Jerry Rice and Randy were better.
TO Ran with AUTHORITY
bennyblanco4rmthaBX definitely not
jerry yes..randy no
T.O. is in my top three receivers of all time. I grew up watching him and never understood the hate he got. The man is an amazing athlete!
Agreed
@Raymond Sims I am HUGE Steeler fan, but Owens was just unreal......top 3.......Moss, Rice, Owens........just my thoughts.....
@Raymond Sims I can't have Brown over Megatron
@@Danoie67nah jerry rice is the goat
What’s crazy is we never saw TO decline! His play was always at a high level no matter which team he played for!
Exactly, people judged him , his performance was high level , all of these people who didn’t work as hard as he did
Fa real dey Black balled him like Barry Bonds
@@jonjonbailey4314 TO could of broken Jerry Rice records if he didn't get black balled man had 980 yards and 8 TDs at 37 or 38 years old
The nfl media blackballed him straight up!! Unlike moss, when he was on the field he never took plays or seasons off, and if he was not unfairly blacklisted he could have challenged all of Jerry rice’s records. Jerry said himself that TO was the most talented receiver of all time!!
@@Jimgbuckets I almost view him as the Allen iverson of the NFL. The media portrayed them as “thugs”, trouble makers, and selfish. When they were just both actually just outspoken, uniquely passionate and talented athletes. Both were definitely blackballed
Terrell Owens was the only receiver I've seen who could catch a 5 yard pass and look like a running back breaking tackles, stiff arming, etc. while still getting the td. Always fun to watch, especially the celebrations.
Lmao that is what Jerry Rice was a decade before him
@@haterzzbehatinn Most of youtube probably wasn't born in a time where they saw rice in his prime. By the 2000s he was no where near this level which is when most people saw him play.
@@haterzzbehatinn naw jerry was more finesse now Michael irvin was T.O personified
Jerry Rice did that all the time. Where do you think TO learned it from?
@@HeCreative Jerry Rice was power He used to carry guys into the endzone
"It's a waste of time to try to explain to someone who you are when they have a committed misunderstand about who you are"
-T.O
True words.
@jordan5221 You're so full of shit. How can you judge this man without ever talking to him, or at least watch his interviews. Go watch undisputed and listen to what shannon sharpe says about this guy. And why do you have so much hate to a guy that you've never even met before? Ignorant people like you should be ashamed of themselves.
jordan5221 😂😂😂😂
Im gay and i have to say nice name lmaoooo
@jordan5221 I agree. A lot of times selfish and egotistic individuals will falsely pull the "I'm misunderstood" card.
Most entertaining receiver of all-time!
him and chad "ochocinco" johnson for sure. favorite era of football
Also one of the top 3 wr’s of all time.
Also don’t forget the most disrespected WR of all time
Terrell Owens > Julio Jones
Best of all time
The guy lived his life, let his personality show and is one of the greatest WRs the game has ever seen. Legend.
I have no problems with him being a lil cocky. The boy could flat out play. Made the game special and put asses in stands
@RANK: Chief General that's confidence everyone gets a little cocky sometimes it's normal we are human beings not robots its ok to be cocky sometimes and think your a straight beast and the best
Yessir
@I love Basketball. I'll take his cockiness. The guy could flat out ball like no other
People need to be able to separate the player from the person and just appreciate what he did on the field.
If you had to play alongside him or he was your annoying neighbor, I get it. However, he was an entertainer and you are a fan...who cares if he is an asshole?
@@Youngstar37exactly and anyone who actually played the game knows the positions who talked the most shit on the field was the Quarterback, Defensive lineman and cornerbacks
As a wide receiver in Jr high and highschool after you keep having dbs talking mad shit anytime they made ONE play so when you get a chance to own them and score you're gonna talk
Shit back
That's why I always defended T.O
Terrell Owens and Randy Moss were a nightmare for defenses
Megatron
Preach
Owens is the better WR. He ran every route
It still gives me chills hearing him miked up for the super bowl against the pat's. "I'm on half a leg and they can't stop me!" He put up super bowl mvp numbers in a loss on a still broken ankle
Greatest receiver EVER!!!!! NO weakness 💪💪💪 💯💯💯💯
Not one
Even his emotional instability turned out to be a strength - he never quite let it ruin him or his teams.
This man is the definition of what productivity on the field looks like. Straight beast from the start of his career til the end
As far as I am concerned if you didn't like Terrell Owens, then you didn't like NFL football..
He's like a really good wwe heel, the opposing fans loved to hate him
I don't like t.o but I like nfl
@@ghoulztigges8171 How do you not like someone you never met?
I can’t stand his attitude
If you don’t like him keep him out of end zone
This dude can still play at 46! I’ll put my popcorn 🍿 on it.
NFL 2K5 Mcnabb to TO on a go route was literally unstoppable. That one season was one of the most incredible seasons to watch. The numbers werent mindblowing but there was just something aboout that Mcnabb-TO connection. It was the first full season that I followed very closely from start to finish.
You can't deny his talent no matter how else you feel about him.
He was literally the best WR on every team he ever player for….Even when he was young playing with Rice or Old playing Chad
Even at the end of his career with Cincinnati; he was better than Ochocinco
I live in Trinidad & Tobago and we don't know much about NFL here, but growing up I knew who T.O was. #largerthanlife
Well said.
This man was a freakin BEAST!!! I was always like..."ya'll get out of your feelings" and play football! Washington has always been my team but T.O. was that dude!!!
Terrell Owens is absolutely one of the best wide receivers in NFL history. He played college football at University of Tennessee-Chattanooga. He has also played for the San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills, and Cincinnati Bengals. He was a problem for a lot of defensive players because they had no answer for him when it comes to his pass catching ability and his athleticism. I wanna see him become a wide receiver coach someday and teach these young guys to play the wide receiver position. He finished his career with 1,078 receptions, 15,934 receiving yards, and 153 touchdowns in 15 seasons. Salute to #81 Terrell Owens!!!
There was a sports analyst that came out once and said teams signed T.O. to raise their market interest and let him go so they wouldn’t have to pay him. He said there were times when they were just told to report things on T.O.’s behavior that came out of no where...no teammates or team personnel could confirm the action or allegations, but they were told to report it. I’ve been searching high and low for that interview, but have yet to find it. Hopefully I do and will share it. T.O. was a special athlete and deserved what he was asking for financially. If T.O. was that today, he’d be the Lebron James of the NFL.
I think you're right. The rules have gotten softer for receivers and quarterbacks since TO was in his prime. If he was playing now he'd be even better.
I never understood what was his great offense
U find it?
TO got mad at 49ers because he felt betrayed. He was the best player on the team and got treated like a scrub. felt like Garcia didnt back him up (in his mind) even though the inflated stats from Owens was made him look good.
The eagles refused to raise his salary when again he was the best player on the team and was inflating Mcnabbs stats with catch and runs. Mcnabb refused to back him up (in his mind)
Cowboys realized Romo was good with or without Owens and he wasn't worth the money
Buffalo and Cincy are clown organizations who knows why they do things
Bro ain't no lie in shit you said.. Every team T.O went to he always out performed his contract even his last year in cincy he caught 75 passes for 982 and 9 TDS .. Leads the team in all categories and still get cut lol
He is one of the most underrated and electrifying players of all time.
Quantez Spann Yes man I agree give this man his due respect!
Quantez Spann Underrated? He's often referred to as the 2nd best receiver all-time. That's rated accordingly.
Shaquille Sunflower I don’t know what your sources are but they’re false Lol
Quantez Spann Everybody knows Jerry Rice is 1. And then you basically can flip a coin between Randy Moss and TO. I don't know what Looney Toons sports show you've been watching but everyone recognizes To as Top 2 or 3 all-time. They just always talk shit about him because of distractions. Player wise, I've never seen him underrated.
You can’t be underrated if you’re viewed as the best or one of the best players on the field every time you’re on the field. And that’s how T.O. viewed.
I wasn’t a football fan then, but man, I look back and see that I missed a lot of greatness. I wish I would’ve witnessed T.O, he is incredible
The originator of the big fast receiver! He did it all; block, end around, punt return, screen passes for TDs and a deep threat!
Terrell Owens is so special
Malik Lander Yes Julio is the closet I’ve seen to him but he still doesn’t break as many tackles as Owens
Coolio11 Jones Yep he and Andre Johnson
Coolio11 Jones Terrell is stronger and more durable and almost as fast as Julio.
Top Flight He was just as fast, he got significantly faster while he was playing we are on the same page!
He is so fucking strong
TO's classic quotes:
"I love me some me"
"That's my quarterback"
"Get your popcorn ready"
"I've made some mistakes"🤣🤣🤣
Adrian Perry “They hate to love me”
“I’ll never be in the Hall of Fame.” 😥
“Who can make a play I can!”
One of my favorite Niner receivers. Most gifted receiver ive ever seen.
GIVE THAT MAN HIS FLOWERS 1 OF THE BEST WR OF ALL TIME
One of the few guys in NFL history who backed up every single word on the field. One of the most thrilling WRs to watch ever.

Um I'll give u a partial thumbs up. Can't give u the full thumb on that
He had us in the first half.
Jerry Rice
I wouldn't have him above Rice or Moss
Moss then t.o.
The greatest showman I've ever watched in the NFL. His game matched his personality: strong, creative, explosive. As much as I loved how he played, you can easily see how he would've made enemies, even in his own locker room.
As far as being a showman... he's a notch below Prime Time. But he's still a beast.
Most physical, most talented receiver I ever seen in my time. This guy, WOW, he soo special!
One word for T.O is “SPECIAL” one of the greatest to do it.
He's got the athleticism, the height, the speed and the strength. A wide receiver with those qualities will always be successful more often than not.

Love him or hate him, TO put on a show every Sunday. The NFL desperately needs that again
I literally smiled the entire video
What a badass
One of the greatest. His combination of strength and speed were unique
Very.
That boy was something else. My favorite receiver to ever play the game. Some of the greatest hands in the game. Extremely explosive after the catch. Pretty much the Juggernaut of wide receivers. Unstoppable!
💯
The successor to the GOAT receiver. Insane amount of talent this guy had
Best to do it
He didn't have some of the greatest hands in the game. He was a drop master. And u see my name so u know what he means to me. Just keeping it real
@@niners2162 Yes. Good hands was the weak part of his game. If he had Rice’s or Carter’s hands…

Even to this day he looks like he could produce in this league, still in fabulous shape
You got a small part of your wish
This is a 21 minute and damn near every time you hear TO name you hear touchdown lmao dude is one of the best ever
Lmao I love when T.O swats defenders off of him like flies. They look back like "I hope nobody saw that"
Reek And it looks worse in slow motion to watch T.O. look back at the defender on the ground.
If Owens played now. He’d be bigger then life. With social media and camera everywhere. performance on the field was unmatched. Plus the celebrations.
One of the GREATEST receivers of all time! He flat out balled for the Bengals that last yr. had he not gotten hurt he would have had over 1k yards
This guy was a man amongst boys highly unappreciated
My father told me stories about a strong and fast wide receiver in the NFL called Terrel Owens .I asked my dad if he was a super hero and my dads answer was no son he is best ever in his position..This is the swag of a wide Receiver..I will respect this Athlete till the day I die..my forever Idol ..
How can you respect such a shitty human being? Dude alienated every team he was ever on. Locker room cancer. Great player but it takes more than stats to be a team player.
AlienLife how was he a shitty human being the things he did are literally what’s normal today there’s literally criminals in the nfl today but people hate T.O because he was cocky and wanted the money he deserved

One of the most hated on players ever
Even though lots of people hate him, his career and touchdown celebrations were legendary
Yeah monster the ate the positively from a team
I Love T.O, he is the best WR I ‘ve ever seen play, the things he could do is unseen today’s NFL, I haven’t seen not one WR yet do what T.O did in his career, Hall of Farmer #81....

Steve Young, Terrell Owens and Barry Sanders. My favorite players of all time.
Top 3 greatest WR of all time!! The stats back it up. He was an absolute monster! So much fun to watch. Love me some TO! Him and Jerry Rice my 2 favorite WR’s ever

He had a decent year in Cincy too
Tbh I totally forgot he played for Buffalo and cincinatti when I think of TO I just think of him playing for San Fran and Philly his best team was with San Francisco to me
@@joeyporter3356 can't forget dallas years
My all time favorite player! He had such underrated breakaway speed. I remember a play I believe it was when he played for the cowboys, someone broke loose on a play and Owens was 20 yards behind everyone. Then next thing you know he's in front of the guy with the ball blocking down field. Incredible player.
He was great everywhere he went, he was the best and smartest receiver. He knew all the offensive and defensive plays.
Imagine this, the media had you hating this dude for celebrating and now everyone loves when players celebrate. Smh. He was a showman. You can hate it if you want but stop him if you dont want him to do it. Dude was amazing and ran pretty much every route.
I was always a TO fan. Met him at a lakers game during his beef with Donovan. Not only did he take a picture with me and my brother but he also had a conversation with me. Was he unprofessional sometimes? Sure, but his behavior was never an issue off of the field. The man played with a broken leg in the Super Bowl, I rest my case.
Didn't just play, got over 100 yards. While McNabb was puking from being hungover and throwing INTs.
His ability is 2nd to none. Still my all time favourite wide reciever

I wish I was born sooner just to see him play live in his prime
We all miss some greats. I wish I saw lt in his prime. I saw him play in his final year. Watching moss and Owens come out was insane at the time. It was never seen before. Terrel Ownes is the greatest receiver of all time. Change my mind.
Im a giants fan and I always said Terrell Owen’s to me is the best WR to have ever play in the NFL. It’s more than just accolades and statistics for me. Just a savage receiver with swagger, tremendous athleticism, his undefeated trash talk.. ppl don’t realize how much of a target he was in the NFL he just kept cooking DBs & was able to back it up against the best every match up.

TO was a bit of a drama king. If he would have his head on straight he could have been the GOAT receiver. He had the talent level and was taught the craft by no less than Jerry Rice himself.
Xavier Vega but like the only issue is literally I’ve noticed was he wanted to be paid or supported, T.O knew his worth and his caliber but people wanted to give chump change, especially Jerry cause with the cowboys Owens wasn’t even really an issue
He loved the attention but when your that good you deserve attention
He was fun too watch, espcially after the TD
my all time favorite receiver
My favorite player of all time dude was serious.
When any1 asks me about WRs. Who is my favorite ? I look at them like I'm crazy. Immediately I say "Terrell Owen's, T.O" he's the best all around. Controversial? Maybe. Inspirational and sensational and incredible? YES💯
Driveway workout interview has gotta be one of the greatest interview ever.
To know how great T/O really was look at him now on CZcams playing against Jackson state college players and taking them to school as a old man now. It’s crazy how good he still is.
Too bad so many don't appreciate him because they'll never be another with that mix of size, strength, speed, explosion, hands, route running, foot work, playmaking in the open field, can work inside and outside the numbers. Even on a bum leg.
