He was one of the most physical receivers with so much body control and footwork that he was so insane to watch. Wish injury wouldn’t have killed his career.
poor man’s Micheal Irvin my guy. 💯
@@nickfinamori9992 X was better
@@nickfinamori9992 Bryant was more talented than Irvin. He just got hurt a lot and ended his career early. I love Irvin too, give them both their credit.
@@TreFKennedy not gunna debate that
@@nickfinamori9992 he definitely could outjump and outrun Michael Irvin he was one of those freaks in the 2010s
Tony Romo and Dez Bryant chemistry was unreal even for 2014 season only that catch still piss me off
Something that dak never had with dez. N well he wasn’t dak friendly 😂😂 sorry dak is just trash. 😂😂
And it was ruled a catch years later
prime dez bryant was an absolute force to be reckoned with
Damn right
Bolden or Bryant
Tony and Dez should have won a SB together. They were an awesome duo. Miss them both.
No they shouldn't. They played for the cowboys. Cursed franchise
Everyone wants to talk about him being a diva or too much attitude? He showed emotion for the game for one, & 2 he always backed up his word on the field. He was actually a humble man with a burning heart of passion.
He did what he was supposed to do on the football field. Diva no way he new it was go time at this highest stage off football that's the part people don't understand
He wasn’t no diva he was exposing mfs inside that room he was in but they made him look like a guy that was out of control and used his anger against him. But dez know what he was doing
Romo and Dez loved those back shoulder throws
ELITE
Because hardly anyone could stop it lol
They were absolute deadly!
this guy was my all time favorite player. he was the one that really got me to love football like i do today. Almost everytime he was on the field he would always get touchdowns like no one else in the league and it was truly something special. if only injuries never hurt his career he could have done soooo much more and eventually be a lock for the hall of fame. i'll never forget dez and his electrifying catches. Forever Throw Up The X.
Been a Cowboys fan my whole life and he was my favorite player growing up wore 88 in high school just because of him🤣
A lot of people are gonna hate me, but my favorite 88 was Dez! A straight beast he was. I wish we could have won at least one with him.
Mannnnn dez was unreal!!!!
He might genuinely have the sexiest highlight tape I’ve ever seen. He was beyond dominant, it’s funny to see how many times tony romo just lobbed it up to dez and it actually worked😂
Mr. open24/7
I’m not even a cowboys fan and he was my favorite receiver when he was in his prime 🙌🔥 throw up the X.
Criminally underated and taken-for-granted. One of the greattest all-time!
Love Dez! Will always be an all time Cowboys great! Saying that, the fact he was essentially done and out of the league at 29 makes me wonder what he was like behind the scenes.
No more Romo, Dak couldn’t make the passes he left to saints but tore his Achilles, which ruined his jump ball
@@dafuq9255 but the he didn’t sign with the Saints until the second week of November in 2018; so he went the entire offseason and half of the 2018 season before someone signed him and was only 29. A 29 year old coming off two okay seasons in 2016 and 2017; in 2016 he played 14 games(13 regular season, 1 playoff game) where he had 59 catches, 928 yards, and 10 touchdowns. Then in 2017 in 16 games he had 69 catches, 838 yards, and 6 touchdowns. So not huge numbers but still productive and yet no one jumped on him once released. Dez is my second favorite Cowboy behind Emmitt but it sure seems like there was more going on than we know.
@@mcuthor7831 good point. That is odd well didn’t the ravens almost sign him after the Achilles. It is odd other teams didn’t pursue him especially a red zone talent. Maybe they thought he was too much of a “diva”
Dez came back too early to try and save our season when romo was hurt and ultimately paid the price for the team never was the same physically still so much heart and a cowboy forever 💯
DEZ BRYANT will always be a long time Dallas Cowboy , lots of highlights he had for this team , just terrific stuff
Always bittersweet with Dez. He was a great WR, but it was so short lived and the whole "non-catch" really just brings back a lot of bad memories and brings up the "What could have been" question.
It's cool seeing him starting to put his playing career behind him and returning to being a super fan again and at games.
I swear the Romo to Dez back shoulder fade at the goal line worked every time
😆🤣😄😂😅🤭
the equivalent to the eagles QB sneak with Jalen Hurts
Other than Fitz, Julio, Megatron, and D-Hop, nobody in the last decade had the hands that prime Dez did. Dude could catch literally any ball thrown his way.
The Megatron and Dez era was so good man all of the WR’s in that era was amazing
Especially Dez He was a physical freak that likes to contend with the CB and jump high and catch the ball I miss Dez #88X
Bro I'm going ask u theoretically if dez wouldn't have fell off the last 3 years of his career and kept muscling his way into the highlight reel???do u think theoretically he would've been a 1st ballot hof or actually one the 1st ones to make it under the new era requirements ask yourself theoretically speaking from 2010-2020 he was bound to make his way on the mountain
I love the 88 club in Dallas, and the fact Irv, Pearson, Dez and Lamb all get together for dinner just warms my heart
Lamb not good enough,
@@dafuq9255 1100 yards in his second year while making the Pro Bowl. set the record for most receptions by a cowboy in their first two years and the Only player with more receiving yards In their first two years with the cowboys was Bob Hayes. He’s currently on pace for another 1100 yard season with Dak out for 5 games. He’s not the best in the league but he deserve the 88 on his chest and back.
I also don’t think Lamb is good enough. No where near Irvin or Dez’ physicality or “ima f#%& this shit up” mentality
@@1776lbzdummy lamb is on pace to out do them all and year for year exceeded each one in the first 3 years. Y’all too busy comparing to just enjoy and watch
@@1776lbzlamb’s off to a better start than all of them
As a lifelong Eagles fan I hate the cowboys with everything inside me but I always loved watching this man play🙌🏿
I always loved his passion and physicalness. My favorite cowboy of all time
Him, AB, Julio, & Megatron were like the top four receivers eight years ago
Ad larry Fitzgerald
Aj green and D-Hop
@@ThomasJohnson-zh6pr Who's AD?
This man is straight up MOSSING people. Nearly all his highlights is going up and getting the ball
BIG BODY
I absolutely could not stand this dude back in the day but he was a force my God. One of the best WRs of the early 2010s if not the whole decade easily
A MONSTER in the making!! Dez jersey will hang in my man-cave FOREVER!!
Not a cowboy fan by any means but I couldn’t help but be a fan of him, he was insane and made that catch vs the packers for sure
Love you Dez!! What I wouldn’t give to have you playing now!! Legend88 BRYANT
Always will be one my favorite receivers of all time. Man was a beast from Lufkin high school to Oklahoma State to Dallas. I miss seeing him play. And HELL YEAH DEZ CAUGHT IT!!
bryant had so much more to give us. he was great either way, i just wish we got to enjoy him for longer
He's got to be one of the most electrifying receivers that I've seen, from his days at Oklahoma state, and with the cowboys. 😊😊👍👍
Romo made Dez look good. Dez made Romo look good.
Man he roughhousing them DBs half the time he wasn’t even open just a beast
I miss his game so much he’s always gonna be my favorite player I would love to see him play 😢
Dez was him, best prime I’ve ever witnessed
I think, being dead serious, that CeeDee is doing a great job representing the 88. He’s physically, shifty, and handsy. The perfect example of a Cowboy 88. Can’t wait for year 10 of throwing the X.
I hated his guts, but I couldn't believe how quickly he fell off. From 2013-2016, he was unstoppable.
Injuries man. Especially leg injuries
Being a diva is what ended him. No team wanted to implode their locker room by bringing him in.
@@SteveJobIess that’s Media talk man. The game is played between the lines.
@@SteveJobIess far far far from a Diva.
@@SteveJobIess nah, he was a fine locker room player. He pumped up his teammates a lot. But Scott Lenihan made him out to be the villain.
DEZ. CAUGHT. IT.
One my fav players. Beautiful throws from Romo to Dez . TD all day ty for the memories
ill never forget how quiet he would make philly fans in their own stadium. miss his presence in the red zone
Dez caught it. Nuff said
Nearly cried watching it
My favorite WR of all time
One of my favorite players to this day. Some truly unforgettable catches. Definitely bittersweet too.
I remember his game against Bradley Fletcher. Man Bryant was something special
One of the best red zone WRs I've ever seen
Dez is the reason why we have X factors on madden. Throw up the X !
Love how everyone always thought he was throwing fits on the sideline but it was just pure passion
Dez and romo were a perfect pairing
Thank you 88 , my favorite Cowboy of all time always had me hyped always.
i love dez he was underrated compared to other receivers but he still my all time favorite player
The guy who made me fall in love with the game. Unstoppable at his prime. Throw up the X for a future hall of famer!!
He is not going to the Hall of Fame. Sorry but you need to get that stupid idea out of your head!
@@brucebruce7065 you must be a redskins fan 😂 had some real aggression on that
@@reidweed9543
I'm not racist so I have never been a Washington fan but cool to know that you are
@@brucebruce7065 if you could properly analyze a conversation beyond a second grade level you would understand that I have said nothing in support of Washington. Sorry if I offended you by not saying commanders but that is the sad truth of the teams history which I did not choose. You can take that up with Dan snyder.
@@brucebruce7065 I understand you have only watched the new generation of football so must not understand what it means to be a football player it’s not about stats it’s about the ability to motivate a team, help your teammates improve and not be selfish. You have to remember these are two different styles of play between for example todays bengals and the 2010’s cowboys. For example, the cowboys did not throw the ball 40 times a game. Does that make jamar chase who receives more targets and already has a connection to joe burrow from college better than dez after one year? No. Is he really good? Sure of course. But dez had no previous chemistry with romo and thus the two cannot be compared. two completely different starts to their career. Dallas will be and have always been a rush first offense and that must be taken into account, don’t make assumptions about how good you think a player is when you have never actually been in a locker room of that caliber or have known what it really means to give it all for your team. I wish you luck in your future endeavors and hope that you are more mindful in the future to understanding the process behind success and not making assumptions without having the knowledge to back them up. Have a great day.
Dez Bryant was the heart and soul of my Cowboys, str8 dog & the 🐐at coming Down with the football no matter where the QB put it!!
He was a beast and back up everything he said!
That 2014 catch against green bay is now considered a catch . Robbed and they changed the rules after that season because of the play call
A force to be reckoned with for sure
I remember me as a kid every time he scored 😢 there is a reason why he wore 88 throw up the x
He was so phenomenal
Dez Bryant is my favorite player/WR of all time if he didn’t suffer an injury I really think he would’ve been the best wr to do it !
Dez Bryant should have been a hall famer. Man this dude waz out of this world
Peak Dez was special!
Dez keep it alive for sure 🤘🏾🤘🏾
As a giants fan never looked forward on playing cowboys knowing he was on the team
Weapon X is one of my favorite WR ever
Its 2022 but..DEZ CAUGHT IT !!
I still don’t understand how he caught it took 3 steps and they called incomplete. Should’ve been down on the 1 yard line. 🤦♂️🤦♂️
5:40 Man it's gonna be so nice to see those uniforms again this Thanksgiving. As long as we win of course.
P.S. Dez was a different animal
Here from the future, we won!!
@@oraclegenesis1366 Oh yeah
Insane thanks NFL throwback
From 11-13 he was a top 5 receiver but in 14 he was the best in the game,it was like he was on another level with it I'm talking bout every game he was on some spectacular shit he earned that 5 year 70 mill in 15 I hate that he got hurt that season, him and Romo because no telling what would've happened
Dez X Miles was underrated duo.
The refs robbed Dez of his potential SB ring. But he had an outstanding career regardless.
Dez is a special player he deserves to be in the hall of fame physically gifted and no one could stop him NFL Legend inspired so many fans and players true Goat
No, he does not "deserve" to be in the Hall of Fame
@@brucebruce7065 right lol ??
He definitely could've been in the HOF but injuries ruined the rest of prime years , but who knows he has a case for sure but I doubt he'll make it
Ball skills were superb
I miss him so much 😢
Man I miss seeing Dez suit up for Dallas X
Dez Bryant n Randy Moss are the most powerful n fast receivers with great hands, just got to throw the ball towards his hands n it's a catch
Favorite player of all time! He was nice enough to take a picture with us outside of NorthPark! Just throw up the 🙅🏻♂️ when you see him!
Dez CAUGHT IT!
last great 88 for us! one of my favorites.
Romo was one of the most talented QB's to never win the Superbowl. Look at his footwork, ability to evade pressure, accuracy, touch, ability to hit the receiver in stride. Phenomenal player.
BEAST
Witten,Murray,Bryant, and Romo it was one of the greatest offensive squad since the Warner,Bruce,Holt, and Faulk in 1999
truky the best wide reveiver ive watched in my time sadly his career cane to an end after romo retired since dak didnt have that chemistry like dez and romo did
Best to ever run a fade
Always loved Dez from his college days to his NFL days, A true athletic freak, And he def caught that ball in that packer game.
The perfect help for Lamb
This guy deserved better. He wanted to win, but the coaching staff could care less.
My favorite player all time
damnn i remember they kept my mans out the top ten n he had a diving 1 hand td catch for like 30 yrds against the eagles. dez was forced out the league he was one of the best for sure.
dez 🐐
Dez, Anquon Boldin, and Calvin were probably the best at those jump balls I’ve ever seen. All bullied DB’s.
Yes 👍 he gets the job done ✔ 👏
greatest cowboy wr ever. greatest wr to wear 88 EVER!
This guy was better than Ceedee Lamb. The only thing that killed his career was Dak not throwing him the ball and other teams saw this as a negative and never gave him another chance to get picked up
My favorite wide receiver of all time. It was at 14:25 where you can see he lost the love he had for playing football.
I DON'T REGRET NOTHING. I feel you Dez.
😎
My favorite wr I ever watched and most likely will stay that way
CD lamb ain't carrying that 88 with pride bro didn't really want it anyways Dez was the last great 88
He'll get there. Give it time
👀👀👀
Lamb is balling this year...
He’ll never be a receiver like Dez but he is picking up the slack for the team this year
I still miss this dude
Ceedee lamb took 88 and continued its glorious legacy
Greatness
Dez caught it!
