I agree with some of your points. 1)Many Indians know the importance of swastika in Hinduism, this documentary appeals us to know why the west misinterprets the swastika symbols. 2)We must try to revive the Sanskrit language in our society , but it appears as an impossible task in India as there are more than 1500+ language used here and numerous other dilects.

I think this video is especially made for people outside India. We Hindus know swastika as a symbol of good luck, as auspicious. It is the English speaking world that, in an attempt to take the blame off hakenkruez- a symbol of Jesus christ in European societies, changed the name of the symbol Hitler used to swastika. And Hitler hadn't even heard of this word in his life. That is the whole point of the documentary.

I would like to disagree with you that Israel should not be watching this as it could be insensitive. India faced and still faces so much problem due to invasion from the people of other religion ( the peaceful one's). However if a person of that religion expresses to be more human than being religious then it's worth the fight to save that person. This is an entire movie about how one word was stolen from Sanskrit, completely ignoring all the words, people and traditions that got stolen from Judaism. I am from India. I don't know that symbol is used by Nazi until my 6th class. My sister name is swastika, it's a sanskrit word meaning inner peace, hope.. she had that symbol tattooed on her hand. In Any old hindu temple like 1000 or 2000 year old temple you will definitely find Swastika symbol on the main door. That symbol is found on the ruins of indus valley civilization. Actually this video was to make a significant difference between swastika and the German symbol cause many people get confused with it, Hitler didn't even knew what Swastika was in the dharmic religions
Firstly it's not swastik it was "Haken creuz" as hooked cross. Hooked cross is general symbol observed in old churches in Austria, Germany,Antolia(hagia Sofia church). The symbol of hate is "Haken creuz" and not swastik.which is associated to Christianity and not any Indian originated religion as Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism

Indian people know what Swastika is, it is a symbol of good fortune, this video showed us that That 'cross' thing is different or completely opposite of our Swastika.
