In Russia, skin color and eye color are not important, the main thing is that the person is good
Russia is the most racist country in Europe, if not in the world. 😆
Skin color will be important when coloreds become a majority. Keep welcoming them and they sure will take an advantage of it. You want it to be like in Europe?
Correction, the main thing is that the person is a quite slave and donates to destroy neighboring countries' cities.
"are not important", because almost everyone is White. It would be very different if there were too many different people.
Not true. In every country skin color is important. If Russia all of a sudden had an influx of 10-20 million blacks everyone would be protesting against this in Russia. Stop being so foolish with your comment.

@@user-mu9tr3kj9ywe also know how to flush feces down the toilet like a civilized person -- whereas Eurasian barbarians apparently think it goes in a waste basket (Mr. Sly will discover this when he visits a Russian lavatory).
Previously, in Finland, before Moskali were rightfully banned from the civilized world, signs were posted in truck stops in Moskal language only (they were the only ones who needed to be told) explaining how to use a toilet properly. I am sure the Finns are happy they no longer have to deal with this.
In addition, Homo Sovieticus also believes the sink is the proper place to deposit mucus, blood, and other bodily fluids - having no idea what tissue paper (Kleenex) is for. All of which combines to make using a Russian bathroom a wonderful experience.
I am from Switzerland, I arrived in Russia on a business trip to the city of Yekaterinburg and it was a shock to me that here in a hotel you can pee standing up at night and flush the toilet and the police will not fine you for making noise! This is a country for a real normal life!

Russians in general are a very clean people. They wash their cars often, they clean their shoes often. Their restaurants are MUCH cleaner than in the US and they dont have sticky tables when you sit down. X.x
The issue they have is climate is rough, and destroys infrustructure and roads at a much faster rate. Also they put sand on roads every year, so there is a period of the year where the roads are dirty with dust and sand. Then it gets cleaned up for the summer. This is because of climate.
People need to realize Russia has a lot of infrastructure upkeep that is required because of their climate that many other places just dont have.
I noticed this as well about the restaurants. Way less grungy than in American if that makes sense.

talkin about the skin colour thing.
the first time i visited america 2 yrs ago as a german i was shocked by the relevance of skin colour in the daily life. i was there at a college in boston and also travelled around the country a bit and experienced a lot of situations among the students but also in everyday life where colour played a role. i was e.g. personally addressed as a "white boy" in negative kontext, but also in positive contexts e.g. in humor and stuff... skin colour played a huge role. im a very open person, living in frankfurt am main which is a very multiculti city so i was hanging with a lot of different people. And i really had a great time - dont get me wrong . but i expected a lot of "nazi" jokes, but most of them were just "white" jokes. i noticed that a lot, it felt like a black/white thing which seems to be very relevant in america. not only in a bad way, even in humor and everyday life.
dont get me wrong, but for me this was so dumb :D as a european this makes absolutely no sense to me. in europe alone there are so many nationalities and different ethnicities and we are sooo extremely different from each other. for each country there are steriotypes and different elements that describe the respective nation. all of them are white. same goes for africa i guess. every european will be able to call you the typical steriotypes of a french, english, irish, swedish, polish, italian, spanish, croation, greek, turkish, morrocan, tunisian, nigerian... and so on.... and i know that is very subjective but it felt like in america there is only black, white and hispanic..
for me, this is clearly an american thing. I think in russia, people give ZERO fucks about your colour
Some do not, some do. There are mostly problems with emigrants from middle Asia. Blackies are pretty rare to see and nobody gives a shit about you if you're behaving civilly.
Americans are obsessed with it. Everywhere else just gets on with life.

Some people in Russia can be racist because they’ve seen racism in movies and because they are assholes. As every multinational country we sadly do have problems and people sometimes are being mean and prejudice towards different nations, some regions are more concerned with nationality than the others, but everyday racism and skin color judgment is a rare animal in most of Russia.
Don't kid yourself. Russians don't really like black folk. I never encountered racism until I was in the American cities. I was told in a very black dominant area in Washington DC where I was starting a job to get back on the train. It was from an elderly black man. I don't know if he was warning me or threatening me in hindsight. I kept on walking and toured the area anyway. I also started my job in and became very good friends with my boss who was a very relevant black CEO in town. Also, I lived in Russia before that. Just saw this video pop up on my feed, have not watched it yet (about to) but this is the one video I’ve been waiting for months if not years from you. My first day in Russia (Moscow) I was still questioning why I had decided to book a ticket to Moscow last minute other than the fact that the day before, Russia announced that South African no longer require a visa. On my way there I had thoughts of USSR , Soviet Union (basically everything I watched on tv growing up watching Hollywood movies where America is good and Russia is bad (and backwards) - ended up spending 3 months visiting Russia in the summer of 2017 and I didn’t want to leave - hope your experience is equally good. Ps: I do hope I get the chance to go back someday.
I understand how you felt about the USSR during the Cold War period. Hollywood and the US government was not the only one producing propaganda. The Soviet Union had their own propaganda machine going full blast too. Personally I don't think that it is such a good idea for a U.S. citizen to be visiting Russia with this proxy war going on between the US and Russia. That's how I see it as an African-American.

About communication! GPS jammers are being used in central Moscow due to recent situations with Ukrainian drones. They tried to blow up something inside the city. This is such an inconvenient security measure.
In general, Russia is safe. There are cameras everywhere, people live above average for the most part and therefore there is no point in stealing anything here. Bicycles are not stolen, we have cheap electric scooters at every step here - for less than 1 dollar you can ride half of the center of Moscow. We have almost no homeless people, no organized crime. Shops are everywhere and they are open 24/7 (7 days a week!). Also, we have amazing delivery: you can order any food delivered to your apartment for very cheap and the courier will quickly bring it to you by bicycle, even at night. Russians don’t care what color of your skin or what orientation you are - if you are a good person, then you will be welcome everywhere. We don't have ghettos or "dangerous areas." And don't worry, we usually have very thick walls in our houses (to keep warm in winter), so you can talk without whispering at home.
My man, you're at safest place on earth. Just relax and have good time.
Безопасноть этого чувака исходит не от безопасности Москвы как города, а от наличия американского гражданства)
Was there in 2019. So glad you are seeing how amazing the city is. People who have never been have no idea, how clean & safe it really is. Aside from all the financial obstacles, one of the best places to visit!

In Russia, many places have free Internet.
For example, in the subway -)
Just being on the subway, try to find free Wi-Fi and connect. The free Internet in the metro is not very good and there are advertisements (to turn off advertisements, you need to pay a subscription), but it is quite functional.
