Allegedly she was told Damon had been in an accident (they were engaged), & with no signal (or hot water in the hotel, eg it was a beautiful but stranded location), she wanted to get back as fast as possible, even though a larger private jet from Lenny Kravitz was organised, which Hype Williams & co took instead. It’s always been wondered why she didn’t take that plane, which was sent to & meant for her. Both versions could be true though, she could have been told about a fake accident, nervous of the plane, lied to / not told about the larger one, and drugged / given a sleeping pill. Can’t remember what doc it was to give the creator credit, but it looked like there was basically no way anyone was letting her get home alive.
There’s various versions of this, but to this day, Damon still dislikes Hype, and the question remains - why wasn’t she told about the larger jet sent from Lenny? Why did Hype take it and not tell her? Clearly it was intentional either way, and Hype is tight with Kanye (therefore Jay Z at the time), Rihanna, he’s in with that whole group. I’m telling you, Rihanna did that 7/8 album contract as quick as she could for a reason, she knew one day this would all blow up. Congrats to Jaguar for stepping up to him/Jay. Re the crash, only a couple were conscious when people / medics arrived at the scene, her bodyguard, obviously on his deathbed was one of them, and the first thing he said was is she (Aaliyah) okay. 😭
People need to come forward about Jay and whoever else is in all this.
